  1. This forum has good usability from a mobile standpoint as well but that wasnt really something we sought out specifically. Just happened to be a windfall perk. We chose this software since its been around for quite some time, modular and Hiew was familiar with hosting it. If we had all the time in the world then its likely that something else would've been chosen but since we had 5-6 days to build this up and archive the old forum we went with this. That being said, being unable to edit posts is a bit short sighted. For this forums software its just a check box under the perms for each group. Takes about 30 seconds to change. I tried to view the Asus forums from a link in one of your earlier posts and I can only view whats on screen, no scrolling, no page up / down, arrows do nothing. I guess this is to discourage leachers and encourage account creation? No idea.
  2. Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Im interested in the teardown of the 16" version and what kind of graphics tier they are looking to integrate.
  3. Without risk there is no reward! You can use the zip lines to get around and not to mention move logs too!
  4. Zip lines alone make the game better from a logistics standpoint compared to the first. Immensely more efficient
  5. 1080p was too small for us, 4K works out better since were inputting 4 1080p sources each with 9x 1080p sources to a 65" 4K TV
  6. PIP isnt really a thing anymore and not what I am looking for, that being said I did find what I wanted. I dont use this in particular, but I have 9 port versions on my other monitors for production uses. https://www.amazon.com/Multiviewer-Seamless-Switcher-Security-Consoles/dp/B0B145ZNT9/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1EOX88KTUJ19K&keywords=hdmi+multiviewer&qid=1679402250&sprefix=hdmi+multiviwer%2Caps%2C115&sr=8-4
  7. A little yeah, but I like the sandbox aspect of it. :)
  8. I dont have much of the RGB stuff's. Just the LED from the Asus board I bought from @Mr. Fox. I didnt make any changes to it so perhaps the Fox had it set to Red? Or perhaps I left the PC alone for some time and that was the default scheme annnnnd oh, the EVGA 3090 with its RGB accent. When I was mining during the winter I cousin liked it, she treated it as a night light lol. I've always been too cheap on case fans which leads to bad purchases which means I spend more money. That being said this time around I have some Gentle Typhoon 2150rpm fans which have been running more or less non stop for almost 4 years now? This is mostly because I dont have a case, so case fans arent very needed lol, that being said I do have a number of those basic Arctic Cooling 140mm fans just for moving air. I also have some other lesser quality fans which I experiment with from time to time. The next time I experiment with fans, I have been leaning towards looking at Noctua as they have some interesting products. That being said, not buying that Asus card. Could just take the fans off another card and achieve the same effect with 2 fans. Well of course, its your money after all! It was probably a good decision for them to start offering Black fans. I remember seeing people repainting fans to match their cases about a decade ago.
  9. The brown never really bothered me but I don't build around aesthetics, so I don't tend to see anything in the case when I have the choice. With today's glass everything I guess the issue is more pronounced.
  10. Really surprised about that price point for a 4K144hz panel
  11. Respect for one member does not allow you to redefine the landscape how you see fit. End of discussion. I changed his name back, the user in question cant do that. Stop double posting, use the multi-quote.
  12. Nothing happened to @Hertzian56, a picture of a swastika was posted and removed. He was asked not to post that picture again, to which he reposted and was removed a second time. He has also accused me of granting additional perks to only this benchmark thread (picture allotments) which as we all know, many here use picture hosting websites to backfill that limitation, which is completely ok and supported from the forums software. The opinions of @Hertzian56 are still present for anyone to see. As a result of this users retaliation, a one week suspension has been issued, name has been reverted back to its original state and they are welcome to continue posting after the cooling off period. Its not, it was renamed in retaliation to moderator action. To which it has been reverted. I wouldnt suggest I am banning anyone without going through extreme measures first. Thanks 🙂 Reposting an image of the swastika. This is a bit of revisionist history. You openly criticized my request to not quadruple post, that alone isnt what issued the warning however, it was the rant that went along with it, which is ground we have covered already in the past a few times at this point. Once again, if you have issues with the rules you can always PM me and discuss. Instead you engage appeal to popularity / appeal to authority to rile up "the crowd" here in this thread almost like clockwork. The rules have been the same for almost 20 years. I also agree, its also worth noting that anyone can always reach out and discuss if a topic is ok or not. Neither of the members that have recently taken the "spotlight" have ever once reached out, instead repeating what was specifically requested to not be repeated. This results in a slap on the hand, sadly.
  13. Its usually best to confirm whats happening before making statements of fact. As explained in the other threads, each member has a storage limitation, the more images you post, the less space you will have. Your perceived favoritism over the benchmark threads in the desktop side of the forum is misplaced. As they are placed under the same limitations you have. They elect for 1 of 2 scenarios. Either use an image hosting site and embed to the forum (which the forum software supports) or delete older pictures from their accounts so they can keep hosting the images here. Lastly, the picture was removed for a reason, do not repost it again. Thanks!
  14. @ssj92 also just picked one up, might have it on hand 🙂
  15. Thats nuts, they sent him 4 laptops? Instead could've just had 1 barebones and 4 MXM cards. Just seems a tid wasteful
  16. If that adapter works as expected, A whole slew of benchmark records are about to be broken lol If you make a thread later or expand on this line of inquiry be sure to @mention me, would to see how this works out. I was thinking also we could start our own more exhaustive list for MXM laptops and compatibility, it would be a boon to this forum, in my opinion of course.
  17. Tape! Zip Tie! Pending the orientation even a counter weight could do the job Though to be fair, Im a function over form school of thought.
  18. Wouldnt it be better to have rads on the walls with fans pushing air out making it negative pressure box instead of sandwiched like that?
  19. Yep its definitely in the cards. Not for the marketplace though, that will remain the same.
