  1. That MSi 1070 is the one I used to have, worked really well. Just need to make sure its not a G-sync card if my memory serves me correctly.
  2. This thread will now be unlocked. I dont mind heated debates or even arguments, but certain things are out of bounds. Its best to keep that in mind when engaging. Thanks.
  3. This thread will be locked until tonight.
  4. Eurocom cards are absurdly overpriced and they tend to profit off of other peoples experiments. For a while they were using the cheap ebay cards as well. Probably still are, given their track record. Does their GPU use supplement power? One of the difficulties of this hobby is that every GPU and vBIOS will have similar and/or unique conditions that must be met in order to function correctly. So while a Eurocom card may work, the MSI one you are looking may not. Not trying to convince you not to try, just trying to temper the hype. Ive been there lol
  5. Before you get to fitment, it looks like that card would need supplement power?
  6. With QMK, usb Synchronizer, and any system that can register USB handshake, you can create an AutoFire F8 macro so you dont have to spam it yourself. Admittedly might be over the top for a single user type scenario. I need to use sBIOS very often for work so now im not hitting F2, F8, F10, F12 for pro-longed periods of time anymore.
  7. Bit locker is doing what it's supposed to. If it's disabled while the OS is present then it will ask for a verification or refuse the boot cycle.
  8. Humor is lost on text /s exists for that reason.
  9. You had a conversation with chat gpt 3.5, which is not the subject of the discussion. You have to pay for 4.0, @ryan. Please do put more effort into your posts or you will be removed from the thread.
  10. I always stuck with the MSI GTX 1070 to avoid these kinds of issues
  11. If 140f (60c) is peak then that's quite respectable. Might also be able to look at event viewer for some of the crash reports.
  12. Have you tried using a monitor? (not the internal panel)
  13. Dont worry in 10 years you'll see a private server lol
  14. It also says in that last gif that your preferred GPU is on Auto, does it always say that or should it show the Nvidia GPU as the selected option?
  15. The nice thing about workstations is their value drops off a cliff after a couple of years. Recently came into possession of a couple of 7810 precision workstations, each with 128GB of RAM and 20c/40t, making it a VM box for training purposes.
  16. If you dont know, then ask how to find out. I didnt have @saturnotaku do anything. He's not the type to take orders from the internet in the first place. So you have no interest in filling out the template, and arent interested in recommended systems. This thread has run its course, locked.
  17. Mind boggling, it would mean that the GPU is ONLY able to function in the slot they designed for it. Now its going to be, if its pcie and it fits, it should work* *except for where it doesnt.
  18. That is the global setting but should work as well
  19. Is the GPU selected as primary in the nvidia control panel ? Perhaps needs to be whitelisted so that the Intel integrated graphics arent in the driver seat.
  20. BBB is not a reputable nonprofit nor would I want reviews to be curated by anything approximating the BBB. Reviews are the proper outlet for expressing concerns with a given product. It is the due diligence of the consumer to seek out this information before purchase.
  21. No idea if its available in Canada but I can take a look at what I have at work, I believe it was a wall brick. Ill follow up on Monday
  22. Same, not looking at it until a week or so after official release.
  23. First comment: Brian Drake 3 years ago So as of 2019, AI will not intentionally kill us, just accidentally kill us. Got it!
  24. If you can't engage in a constructive manner, then it's time for you to check out.
