@crossshot what is the side effects of disabling C-States ?

Wonder how the Modified BIOS is coming along with the EC firmware corrects etc. Its been a tad bit quite on that front it would seem.

Well touch wood with the new CCC installed and a clean install of Nvidia drivers the random shutdown seems to have stopped for me.

I use NextCloud in my homelab, if setup right Network and Security side can be easier. However your tied down to Costs of hardware, maintance and power it requires.

Its not just MSI having issues with sound APO's even Clevo is having issues, my current system has Crackling audio constant since Windows 11 22H2.

You seem the be an audiophile so have you tried the 3.5.4.0 APO3 if so does the issue you describe appear in that driver. I will take the 3.5.1.0 APO3 advisement if the 3.5.4.0 still shows the same issue i will make sure 3.5.1.0 will be the default moving forward. Normally i would of picked this up myself however my GT72 died so i am just continuing to make Modded builds but in a blind state so information like you have supplied is gold to me.

Might have fixed the issue by swapping the 1.5mm pads on vram to 1mm as after taking the heatsink off there was no contact to the die of the GPU. Now heaven is sitting at sub 60c with full speed fans. With auto fans it's high 60'c. Update: had a few rounds of COD MW on auto fan for the first time ever, 67c on core 79.4c hotspot. Now time to purchase some more Thermal Grizzly Kryo Extreme (pink paste).

No problem, false positives are better then no false positives

Temps was 71c on GPU before hand, as for CPU temps that was with 3DMark firestrike and also tested prime95 not together though. Seeing currently 81c in COD MW2 with max fans over a 1 hour time run where it used to be 71c. But it could be due to pads not compressing much yet.

So just to clarify only Nahimic 3 is throwing that error? Can you do a screen shot of device manager. Software components and Audio with then Audio properties. The three files i have edited should of worked.
