  1. @ViktorV I re-padded my laptop today, it gets to 80c core and 98c hotspot during heaven benchmark, however this was on auto-fan. I followed the picture as well. Will give it a day or two just to allow everything to compress pad wise. CPU however no longer goes to 86c stays stable at 78c now so might need to adjust the pressure on CPU to see if that balances out on GPU. If temps don't drop though might need your help again.
  2. @FrancoTecno Did the modified modded files help?
  3. @BSoulMan I am currently running Crucial 3200MT/s 32GB in my system right now, which i placed the Corsair 3200 MT/s into the server where i nicked the Crucial sticks from, so i know the Corsair RAM is good and its a compatibility issue with the KM-G, but yes i think its a good idea to get all known 3200MT/s ram stick that work into a list on here.
  4. One reason why Samsung SSD's haven't touched my X170KM. When a X400 Sandisk still showing 90+% after years (5 years) of abuse with not just TB written and read but also unsuspecting power offs, then comparing my experience with Samsung dad's that we'll have health report issues and failures EVO 840 the OEM AHCI Samsung SSD's it's why I have gone all out Western Digital (SanDisk). The RMA with Samsung was painful as people are experiencing with the 990 Pro issue.
  5. Can't wait to be able to flash and test this. Hoping that it will allow me to use the 3200MT/s Corsair Vengeance ram as well. As currently trying to use them in X170KM results in a no post. Hows the EC firmware, did they manage to fix the lock up issue due to corrupted data from the FAN app ?
  6. @LeBlackNightWhen have i let people down?
  7. @FrancoTecno Download This FILE, then extract the files over the files within c:\Audio\9452.1\ Then inside that folder will be a Launch.exe, run that and select APO3, let me know if that works. @kajdaniec looking at your DXDIAG its got AMD audio and then a USB Realtek Audio device so i am unable to add your ID's to my files. There is a thread over at Techpowerup that has USB All in One with any APO you want give that a try. Sorry that i can't be of help.
  8. @ViktorV Thanks bud, also the system is running great now as well thanks to you! i owe you a pint at some stage.
  9. Does your mainboard come with Nahimic by default? As i notice its an AMD driver for audio.
  10. @FrancoTecnoand@kajdaniec DXDiag please. As its more then likely missing ID's for your device.
  11. Is it an MSI board if so the driver support should already be there with this pack as it uses APO4 drivers which aren't modified.
  12. @epguy3 did you put a flame under MSI's backside????
  13. I never use Intel RST as i have no need for it and i have all 4 slots in use with PCI-E 4.0/3.0 devices without issue.
  14. There shouldn't ne a performance difference however for OS i would use slot 1 to be on safe side @ymsv
  15. Check the ID first on my driver to see which files need to edit should be 3 tops. Follow what i have done.
  16. @Tiki Thorsen You can try manually adding the ID's if you want however if i start to add other OEM ID's to the project others are going to want theirs added in which will increase my workload even more. Surely ASRock has updated drivers and giving that you will be on APO4 tool makes it hard. There is thread on techpowerup that has all of the support for all OEM's if you want to try that.
  17. I take it the EC firmware can't be IDA Pro'd?
  18. Ah right does using XMP cause any issues? I've bricks etc. As there must be a reason it was closed in first place.
  19. Do you know the current state of this bios modification right now ? I am not surprised that Clevo is denying access to the source code though. Which is a shame.
  20. Will this be downloadable freely or will it be payware with remote flashing? as i am digging the look of the bios screen already! Have they also fixed RAM compatibly issues or will be looking into it ?
  21. Might get time to do these over the weekend can't promise though.
  22. It seems that way however with the ever growing thin and lights its going to be an even more hot mess. MXM-B as we know can go as high as 200w. But how its going to be cooled as the node gets smaller beats me.
