Hi, i actually did not look closely because of the distinction between KM and TM!!! It goes with both Books the x16 PCIe lanes!:-) For my test was only one KM available. A TM goes but just as said. Before I answer your other question. Look at the second graphics card, what kind is it!?

Hi:-), the Vbios has a cryptography key, so it is impossible to increase the power consumption via the software. This is only possible through hardware tricks! Greetz MiraGe

This damage or missing parts are not a big problem! The heatsink is the best there is with the right modifications for the P870xx series with air cooling. Check out my results in the P870TM thread, you can see how well this cools!!!....These heatsinks are practically no longer available. Also not at AliExpress. Have fun with it:-)

I have a new bios and not properly tuned yet! Or not yet had the time and desire to do so ...But I think that's not so bad now:-)

Hello, regarding G-Sync. It is definitely not a hardware problem! It needs a bios update! Does your modded Bios everything works as before!?

I used 2x RTX2080 in the P870TM. It worked well. I tried all this almost 2 years ago. This is so-called SEMI-SLI. In games it also works, but you don't have extreme advantages. I can send a benchmark from 3D MArk later.

I have today my own modified bios(P870TM) extended with RTX support! Many thanks to ViktorV and Dsanke! I tried it with RTX 3070 and RTX 3080, it works fine.....

You can optimize something in the Bios! In the P870TM I keep quite often 5.2 Ghz1 The loss reading of 143 W tremendous! The heatsink is certainly not designed for this. Perhaps you can still accommodate a few heatpipes and increase the contact pressure a bit...

Also very good! But with a P775TM! Still nice...I put no value on optimal exploitation, but only Reliable good running:-)

I can confirm ViktorV results! I also knew it for a long time! 8 lanes have no loss as a result! Even compared to the latest generations...Also the temperatures can keep up with new systems without problems..My system: P870TM / RTX 3080 / 9900KS...See photo:

I have already tried this! Simply porting does not work so well...There are other things to manipulate! 2nd thing: The p870xx has basically only 8 lanes available. The bios does not change this! The bios is set to automatic detection. It will always find 16 lanes on the P775xx and on all P870xx always 8 lanes per MXM port....

I use the P870tm like you! Of course the fans must run, otherwise the heat will be too much! There is no other way in an air cooling system...

I don't use water cooling, just the big vapour chamber! Of course, the power dissipation must be transported away quickly. Only with the Vapour one reaches the highest power dissipation! I can gladly make photos later if that is desired....

No, I do not use a refrigerator, nor water cooling. I use the large vapour chamber! I can gladly make a photo if that is desired!

The temperatures seem very high to me under full load. At idle, the temperatures are like mine! I have under full load 50 - 52 degrees over hours with the RTX 3070...
