AMD should never ever increased the X3D lineup. Just make one gamer chips as they did for 5000 series Ryzen. Look at the 7900X3D fiasco. The greed kicked in and they lost their mind. The 7900X3D is in short a 6 core gaming chips for huge premium.

Windows 11 debloater app gets banned from Microsoft Store, dev calls it "a tragedy" neowin.com · 4 hours ago The Windows 11 debloater app BloatyNosy had issues with Microsoft Store policies, which had been seemingly resolved once. However, Microsoft has once again banned the app from its Store. If you wanted to download this third-party utility in case you aren't happy with the "bloatware" on your OS, the app can still be downloaded from GitHub. Do keep in mind though that this is an unofficial tool.

The new Ryzen burnout fixing AMD AGESA 1.0.0.7 BIOS is reportedly buggy tweaktown.com | May 5, 2023 Recently we reported on a new and mandatory AMD AGESA 1.0.0.7 BIOS Firmware for all AM5 motherboards built for the new Ryzen 7000 CPUs. This a direct response to the burnout issues found on some Ryzen 7000X3D chips that were damaging both the chip and motherboard. AMD's root cause for the issue was around voltage. The new firmware limits the SoC voltage to 1.3V. It adds other measures/fixes to ensure processors don't exceed their temperature specifications - while not affecting memory overclocking via AMD EXPO profiles. With potentially damaged hardware on the line, no doubt there's a rush to get this out to as many customers (and board partners) as possible, but with ASUS using a BETA release of the new AGESA 1.0.0.7 BIOS firmware, it looks like there are still issues to work out, which could delay the proper and final rollout of firmware to fix the burnout issue by weeks. So then, what's the current hold-up? Well, it seems that memory speeds are being affected. A report from leaker chi11eddog on Twitter notes that memory speeds are being cut down to DDR5-4400 compared to the DDR5-6000 speeds with the older AGESA 1.0.0.6 BIOS. And what bugs will be baked in next AGESA BIOS Firmware? Hmmm, maybe the older AGESA firmware with manual tuning would be better? -

Yep, and modern (gaming) laptops fail in that task 🙂 Imagine how this would be appreciated also for gaming desktop cards within same SKUs.

Yep, the blind ones didn't see this come. Even when I and a few warned what was to come for Jokebooks, they acted like ostriches. They all put their heads in the sand and hoped for the best. I didn't need see in the crystal ball a few years ago to see this would happen. Neither did @Mr. Foxor @Ashtrix And the laptop gaming jokey's won't be the only CONSUMERS (gamers) that will be scammed by Nvidia and AMD. Also some of the pc gamers will get similar treatments.... 8GB graphics cards is so 2015 (we are now in 2023). When will they (the people) stop act as ostriches?🤔 Gigabyte EEC Listing Confirms AMD RX 7600, Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti Cards for Launch https://www.tomshardware.com/news/gigabyte-eec-listing-confirms-amd-rx-7600-nvidia-rtx-4060-ti-cards-for-launch

Old is Gold🙂 Newer dosn't always mean better. We know that very well from today's new and modern tech.

I have put in the card. Barely space for the GPU- Reactor box to fit in below the Apex SSD heatsink. So I don't need to remove the Grey/blue Reactor cover. It would have been impossible to mount it correctly if the cover had been tiny bit larger🙂 And it seems it's alive. Both fans spins and the GPU is recognized in the OS. So a good start for the "new" old🙂 Broken games and broken prices for graphics cards. Just the way modern tech works nowadays. Yep, old is gold bro @ryan. I hope more PC gamers will migrate Roll Over over to consoles so they can kick Mr Jensen in the balls. Yep, AMD will get a gain from this but they have to follow Nvidia if they want to compete for Pc gaming. The Lightning have landed here home😎 One of the very few unicorn in the graphics cards world. Say hello to the 11 years old MSI N680GTX Lightning. Always wanted me a Lightning card (fully unlocked). This graphics card model together with K|ngp|n, HOF and the Asus Matrix cards have always been the top of the crop for high performance graphics cards. Here are some pict of the old beauty for the pict lover @electrosoft Enjoy🙂 No plastic fantastic as new and modern. Pure metal all over. Who said newer has to be better, LOOL Yep, the card is the full blown Lighning. Not the gimped down N680GTX Lighning-L There is no guarantee you'll get the best top bin (asic) even with the best models. So nothing different than today's modern best binned graphics cards. Will be fun see what love Msi gave this particular Lighning card. Zotac looks weird in comparison. The pipes is placed weird. -

$332 USD (euros vs USD) for a fully stripped down board without the extras? Who want to buy the second defective board without the Asus parts and no warranty?... I could buy the Z790 Apex ($760 here) now and then sell it for 428$ in the second hand market 2024 without loosing a cent vs buy a second half-baked board now to make my Z690 Apex board work the way it was meant to be from the beginning. I won't pay $332 USD to make the mem going up from 7000 to 8000 speed. I rather sell my board for $400 then buy a new Z790 Apex and pay the $360 in between. But even this would be foolish. I could buy the second PSU for my Corsair 1000D and a nice NVMe ssd for this amount money. -

Yep, Intel need to change to keep relevant for Windows 12. Small sweet phone cores is the future. And Microsoft will prepare their next gen touch friendly Windows OS more and more for Joke-cores. Even AMD will come with baby-cores (hybrid arch). Microsoft working on custom Arm-based silicon for PCs https://www.techspot.com/news/98529-microsoft-working-custom-arm-based-silicon-pcs.html Intel want their share of the cake. Hence they have to do the changes now. Meteor lake with tripple core arc (Triple-Hybrid CPU Architecture (P/E/LP-E Cores) is soon reality. Hmmmm.....🙂 It would be a damn boring Cpu to play with. Good for gaming but not the Cpu you would enjoy tinkering with. So a huge nope from me. Hmmm... No laptops is tempting. All are trash. Then you have the soldered on GPU who make it even worse. So double bad. Can't be any worse than that. -

What is so strange with that? Intel use hybrid arch. They already use phone cores in their desktop/laptop chips😎 There is more phone cores than real desktop cores in their new flagship chips. 16 vs 8. So the naming change will fits very well with their products. Difference Between A Motorcycle And Car Engine ... Nvidia won't give you the full fat AD102 - 18432 for 4090Ti. Even the best gaming cards will have cut down silicon. It wil be so when you increase prices close to 72% from one gen cards to the nex (xx80). -

I paid around $120 USD for my 980 K|ngp|n. And now there is people on the used market here home that want buy similar card. They want to pay around $190 USD. This even for a defective card for their Gpu collection. Yep, I don't want sell it, but the card will keep up its value forwards. The opposite of brand new modern cards, HaHa Hmmm, or some dishonest souls? Does the serial/batch nr match bethween box and Cpu? -
There is even more in this. You don't even know what brand/model ssd they will put in your laptop. So you risk double up. Trash ssd for huge premium. Worst of both worlds.... Double screwed.

Forget 4080 as of now. The prices is 200-300$ too high. None should pay 1150-1200$ for cards that should cost 800$ included inflation. At least not above 850-900$ for the best custom cards. I mean Gamers Nexus test out pre-built machines. Maybe worth look into that channel. The review websites as tomshardware, Pcworld, hothardware etc are not credible and are just paid shill. I would avoid those if I was looking after pre-built machines. -

This platform is a complete mess. A huge buggy mess. Read my previous posts the last months about AMD and their QC and QM problems. This was to be expected. Same also for Asus. In short... AMD's new platform go up in smoke and fire and Asus first gen High End Intel DDR5 OC motherboards was of so bad quality that they all should be re-called. This is just a quick sumary of todays tech industri. Cost savings all the way, yet they still want premium for their overpriced trash. -

And now with the death of SLI+ you don't need 1500-1600W PSU anymore. 1000W PSU of good quality is enough for an nice oc'd 13900K and 4090 🙂 1300W PSU's is now the new high end.... https://videocardz.com/newz/galax-announces-hall-of-fame-1300w-atx-3-0-power-supply-with-two-16-pin-power-connectors If you need more then buy a second PSU (I'm looking at me myself). My <be quiet! Dark Power Pro 12 1500W> offer more than enough power but not enough (8-pin) power connectors. Yep, the price you have to pay for still clinging on the old for fun and loads of screamy high pressure fans + the new and fancy HOF 4090 who need dual 12VHPWR connectors. Who said old graphics cards is so damn cheap, LOOL Edit. In theory I could come away with buying two of the 3$ 2x4 Pin Molex -> 6 pol for PCIe (PCI-Express) cables for the extra 12v MB power connector (6-pin). I need at least two of them. One for GPUs with 3 power connectors + the mentioned 6-pin for the MB. No problem do it this way only for the MB but it won't be so pretty to have the ugly 6-pin cable floating in the chassis if not in use. Maybe I can find those in black and sleeved in longer length but that will increase the costs, HaHa These 3$ cheapo cables ain't pretty but won't be a problem only for the 6-pin MB connector (hided behind the GPU). 6$ vs $225 (I can spend the saved cash on other things as etc an 2TB NVMe ssd I'm in need for). Yep, you won't get an 2TB ssd below $200 here home. Here's another option... $250 just at a uglier price. A new good quality 750w SFX PSU is +-220$ here home. It must have a minimum of 4 x 6+2-pin connectors if there is any any point buying one. Edit. Hmm. Can get the Cooler Master V650 SFX Gold 650W PSU for $117.48 -
