I would be disappointed if all I got was 40K. But with all different new settings from MB vendors to stop Crashes maybe thats right. My tests is done without new screw ups and with XMP disabled. See also the results from Techpowerup in my old post. -

Hmmm. 30C here in Canary in the late evening with Kalima (sand in the air from Sahara). Very difficult to breathe. Even my wife who handle all type heat struggle to breathe now. And she love the sun and can sit outside the whole day. Have been up to 42C and with High humidity. What is 100C compared to this? The bungalow puke out 30l water from the AC and I feel messed up. No water around the sun. So it has to be a better place than here🫠 -

Just deal in Tjm at 115C and there you go😆 Dell's head thermal engineer say 100C is just fine, HaHa And Meteor lake is good for 110C so probably 115C in the head of Dell's thermal engineering team. -

Is today? Have been pure trash since 2013. If not longer ago. Had only one Alienware. And thats a laptop. Bought it in 2013. 2 or was it 3 dead boards. But it still work today. My youngest son use it sometimes when he is not on his desktop I built a couple of years ago. There is no more laptop for me. Too small screen and you can only swap out mem and storage. What a waste. I have with me an small 14" laptop my wife used when she was on school. But have never used it here in Canary vacation. I didn't bother. I just use the Android trashphone. Offer about same experience. -

My older son checked out Dell Alienware Sales page on Dell today. There is no more mem options than 5200 and below. Would be nice if some of you could check out different pc options at Dell/other big partners and see if there is something into this. Damn nice if Intel have a serious problems with their cpus paired with 5600 mem kit and above. We have already the SA bug. Well see if the problem is mem speed related. Hmmm. Here's another one. Pay premium but you dont get what to expect... Nice. Wallossek found that this problem isn't specific to a limited number of partners. Most, if not all, of Nvidia's partners seemingly use the same thermal paste supplier. The company supplies a cheap thermal paste to Nvidia partners, delivering superb day-one performance but deteriorating much faster than standard thermal paste. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/nvidia-gpu-partners-reportedly-cheap-out-on-thermal-paste-cheap-paste-allegedly-degrades-in-a-few-months-causing-over-100oc-hotspot-temperatures Newer is always better.... So lower power consumption but with higher thermal threshold. Hmm. Thats a new way to eak out performance. Almost as in older days. Or how Dell prefer running Cpu's to cut costs on the cooling/and at same time reducing the thickness on their trash books. +100C Cpu temps is the normal from DELL. Future Intel processors Allowed to Run even Hotter - TJMax to 105°C Published Yesterday by Hilbert Hagedoorn 18 Intel's upcoming Arrow Lake and Panther Lake CPUs will feature a maximum temperature limit (TJMax) of up to 105°C, surpassing the 100°C limit of the previous Raptor Lake series. This adjustment marks a significant change in Intel's approach to thermal management for its processors. See also.... Currently, Meteor Lake CPUs already display these temperature limits and, sometimes, even go a little higher. This is notably the case of the Core Ultra 5 115U which displays 110°C. Intel laptop CPUs are crashing, too, as the company remains silent Arrow Lake might be safe, as it will rely on an all-new LGA 1851 socket. https://wccftech.com/intel-says-14th-13th-gen-laptops-cpus-not-affected-by-same-instability-issues-as-desktop-chips/ -

Fantastic scaling. Ryzen 9 9950X starts hitting a wall beyond the 160W limit, where adding additional power starts to achieve diminishing returns. For example, the jump from 120W to 160W represents a 16% performance improvement, but adding even more power, from 160W to 200W, yields a measly 5% improvement. This trend continues to 9999W, where more power only results in minor performance improvements. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/amd-flagship-zen-5-desktop-cpu-impresses-in-new-rendering-benchmarks And fantastic for those that still clinge on older days. Maybe we soon will see 1 core processors being the new must have... https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-ryzen-ai-9-hx-370-strix-point-apu-breaks-2k-points-cinebench-r23-single-core-test -

Fantastic. Yup, AMD know they could not fully cripple own flagship. They would be killed if so by own fans. But why do it for their lower SKUs if this is so damn important? Is less more? Why not do the same for this SKU? Because they wanted to cater to performance enthusiasts as the old fart @Mr. Fox and old @Papusan ? Im sick of all this. AMD should do the same for xx50X as well? @Rage Setready to puke? Or is as you the ssd jokeys drooling about 2*5th gen ssd more than enough to say halleluja? Puke evening. Or "oppkast kveld" in Norwegian. Edit "kveld" is evening in Norwegian . Here's what important. Higher TOPS. Why ask for more? Will higher TOPS make your day better? More or Higher is better. Yup, todays 4 letters has to be... P-U-K-E. Kveld(Google it). All should learn something every day. Hope you learned something br @ryan. Norwegian language (viking language) is sometimes harsh/hard to understand. Im good at both English and Norwegian. You read, and you learn. Im sure Fox learn from his wonderful wife. You need to be an viking to understand this rant. But Im 200% sure @Rage Set15000 km away from Norway see where I go. The world i so small. And trash i so close. Maybe you all have learned something today. I learn everyday. That s better than nothing. End of this rant. But more to come😁 https://videocardz.com/newz/hps-upcoming-laptop-to-feature-ryzen-ai-300-processor-with-55-tops-npu-surpassing-hx-370-sku-in-speed -

I have no problems with pigs. They can serve me very well. I love burgers and Rib steak. Sad we need to show awesome with filthy🙂 I take that fat pig everyday over any filthy and greedy companies. The poo and puke emo fits better bro Fox. They have always. Maybe I change if you part up that pig with pict pieces from every tech brand names😊 Maybe the pigs face could have the Asus brand printed. Or just add in Microsoft. i wonder where I would put in Dell, HP, Razer or MSI logo on that pig. Hmmmm, very difficult bro @ryan Older tech have still a good life if paired with correct parts.... https://www.techspot.com/review/2862-ddr5-vs-ddr4-gaming/ The ising on the cake for the day.... The ultimate fix. Head over to Intel webpage. See Asus bios settings when existing the bios (very difficult easily post pict on this forum with an trashphone). So I refrain from that. BIOS SETTINGS AT ASUS These are the new “default settings” for Intel Core i9 “K” There is one thing that Asus does not rule out: the CPU is only allowed to consume 253 watts permanently. ComputerBase has also verified that this appears to be the case, although the high CPU temperatures on the test system only allowed consumption of just over 253 watts on average. -

Energy efficiency over everything. Thats also the reason Intel now don't want HT for consumer chips. If you want to be the Single core performance king then you don't need HT. And you need to feed less voltage into the chips for hyper fast burst loads with a simple single core load. Maybe AL will have less crashes than Raptor due no more HT. So 1-2 cores boosting alone for peak is king, not HT, LOOL In short.... Boost your best two cores to heaven to win the new modern game. Doing more with less has to be my old friend @Mr. Foxworst nightmare 🤗 I really hate this move. Want offer minimal power consumption then offer another new crippled SKUs. This way everyone can have their needs fulfilled. But nope.. Everyone should and must have the same🤮 Exactly as jokebooks. In truth, with this new generation, AMD seems to be betting on energy efficiency more than anything else. This is why the CPU TDP has dropped from one generation to the next , going from 105W for the 7700X to 65W for this 9700X. Ryzen 9000, a coming disappointment on the gaming side? Its a gaming keyboard. Not meant for professionals. Slap on the ROG logo and gamer kids going bananas 😄 I can see there is expensive KB out there. I get that but not this fancy Asus Gaming gear for massive premium. Why would I pay Asus motherboard prices for their gaming KB? And their ROG boards is already too expensive for my likings. This is not for me. -

New low from Asus. $500 for Keyboards. Or $300 more than a vanilla motherboard. Hmmm. Razer get stiff competition on how to rip money from gaming gears and stupid consumers. Add +25% for Norway and we see $625 USD for Gaming keyboard. Thats dang disgusting. Who said MB and gpus nowadays was overpriced? Yup. I use what I get in hands. I only returned the two KS because these are so called Special Edition. I don't want pay extra for nothing or for chips that barely should be branded K. If it was K pricing then thats another animal. I want what I pay for. Nothing more or less. -

If I remember correct. You haven't been on the dark side with trash silicon. Maybe not the best but not t the worst 😀 The trash is really bad. Even worse with not the best cooling. Not everyone can reach our 46K target in CBR23. You cannot do that with Average trash chips. And me,, on vanilla water cooling without delidding, LM and direct die cooling... Yup +46K in CBR23 -

LOOL.. More cores. More of baby cores. If you need AVX512 then look for a proper old 12900K sample. A few of those have it before Intel went idiot and fused it of on hardware level. No extra shit cores can beat it. Newer is better, LOOL -

If I remember correct. 150mv between top and bottom. How can you make proper working chips from this mess? Imagine Nvidia would do that for 4090s. You would have seen more than complaints from burned down cards due idiotic power connector design. They would been slaughtered. -

Fuse in correct v/f curve and correct voltage with all the variety of broken silicon in same SKUs series can't be easy. Blame themselves. +50% of silicon should have been downgraded. 50% should have gone from i9 down to i7 chips. -

As I pointed out in my post. Intel should not release or launch their new cpu SKUs before they have fixed 13/14th gen. If they dont they will lose a lot money/reputation. Not only consumers will remember this... Corporate and development Teams wont forget. Not only will we get baby cores... No more HT. And glued mess with lots of tiles on the single substrate. Only fantastic performance can save them now. I really hope the elite and choosen ones got the best silicon they can make for their LN2 results. But what do I know.... Maybe the next big in benches will be single core benchmarks. Ping up the Creator of Geekbench and let me put max focus on single core results. Just feed them with a load of cash. UI/Futuremark don't bother anymore. They prefer please Microsoft (to hide whats going on with cpu cycles). -

More backlash for Intel. It will be hard try escape from all this. Only a fix or a class suite. And be you sure. This will be a huge topic forwards. Much more will pop up the coming weeks. Intel have a limited time line for fixing this now. The longer they wait telling whats going on the worse it will be. Developers and companies have much more power than the average consumer. I always try to avoid Samsung. Have tested higher end Samsung phones before and wasnt impressed. Went with an medium priced Motorola. This because I didn't know what to expect with Android. Probably better Android phones out there but I didn't want spend much on tech I dont know will fit me and my needs. And needed something for the summer vacation. I sit outside here and there under vacation here. And I have a tablet but prefer a phone. Same also when i m home walking with my dog out in the nature. Easy pick up the phone for videos, forums, email and the web while the dog doing its things. A tablet is more useful inside the bungalow. But I still prefer an good phone in there as well.
