Please try validate the score/result from the submit button in the settings page in your UL/Futuremark account. Some with such problems could fix it this way. -

@Mr. Foxwant to see one of the most stupid ideas I have ever seen? Flash to LN2 900W vbios. If you try the "valueble gods saviour" Safe mode button (see pict below) on the backside of the card it will wipe out everything that smells XOC vbios. You are then stuck with the lame half catrated vbios from Asus. Why not only wipe the vbios to stock settings and not wipe out the whole vbios? It seems everytime you touching that Safe Mode button you are forced to do a new vbios flash. Isn't that great engineering? See vbios I flashed a couple of days before then compare what I get back after using the idiotic ASSus Safe Mode button. And for the records.... I have tested several so called Asus GPU Tweak II software meant for this card.... Now I can't even see or use voltage adjustment. But no problem use it with my Zotac card. And I mean I have tested 7 or 8 versions. Same outcome. Zero. Isn't it cute... You get mem and pex voltage. But nothing for the GPU voltage. Tested also with this version. Still no change. And the fans live their own life. Sometimes they both spin full speed after maxing out the manual fan speeed control. Then back to off for one of the two fans. Randomly. And as you can see... Asus play god with fans setting in almost every new Asus GPU software version... Perverse? https://www.asus.com/supportonly/gputweak ii/helpdesk_download/ I have never seen something messed up like this Asus flagship graphics card... NEVER! Edit: I'm quite feed up with this stupidity and trashy flagship GPU from Asus. HOF, Lightning and Kingpin all they over this junk from Asus. Pretty looking/good design isn't the same as awesome or great. But we both know that. -

I posted this one in the comment section... If those burn up as well, then only dual trash connectors as the HOF will help. What I have learned from this... Nvidia won't allow so high TBP with 5090. They will try avoid a new round with melt hell. Castrate cards is the closest fix they will offer. -

Hmmm. New has to be better, LOOL @ryan😁 Amidst Multiple Leaks, AMD Admits Ryzen 7000X3D Will Still Beat Zen 5 Ryzen 9000 In Gaming AMD's first processors sporting the Zen 5 architecture, the company's Ryzen 9000 desktop CPUs, will go on sale next month, in July. There's been some question over whether people already rocking Zen 4 processors with 3D V-Cache, those being Ryzen 7000X3D series chips, should consider upgrading.... And it won't stop😁 Yup, nvidia and PCI Sig to blame for this.... Most of the owners of the $2000 USD cards have to pay the repair from own pocket. Nice. I hope there will come a class action against Nvidia. But it's probably too late now. And.... Yes, Asus oh Asus🤢 Repair Shop Claims To Fix Up To 100 Fried RTX 4090 Cards Every Month The GeForce RTX 4090 remains the king of the hill in the consumer GPU realm and it will stay that way until NVIDIA gets around to launching its next-gen Blackwell lineup, which will presumably include a GeForce RTX 5090. Not without its warts, however, the RTX 4090 is a pricey card (nothing unusual about that) -
Yep. I didn't expect many consumers wanted pay for this idocy. “We are continuing to evaluate our strategy for consumer Copilot extensibility and are prioritizing core product experiences, while remaining committed to developer opportunities,” Microsoft said. “To this end, we are shifting our focus on GPTs to Commercial and Enterprise scenarios and are stopping GPT efforts in consumer Copilot.” Microsoft’s decision, however, undercuts one of the only reasons to subscribe to Microsoft Copilot Pro, a $20/mo subscription for consumers that Microsoft announced in January. Copilot Pro offered three benefits above the basic Copilot offering: priority access to new LLMs; Copilot in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote), and the Custom GPT Builder. Now, only the first two remain. Microsoft is killing a huge AI feature in Copilot Pro You will miss it bro @Mr. Fox?😁 And Microsoft continue swimming in homebrewed bugs.... Good luck to the guinea pigs. Microsoft Pulls Windows 11 24H2 from Release Preview Channel, Build Riddled with Bugs Microsoft has unexpectedly halted the rollout of the upcoming Windows 11 24H2 update to Windows Insiders on the Release Preview Channel. The pause was quietly announced through an update to the original release blog post, which had initially touted the preview's new features like Wi-Fi 7 support, Sudo for Windows, Rust in the Windows kernel, and various UI enhancements. Microsoft has not provided an official reason for hitting the brakes on the 24H2 preview rollout. Brandon LeBlanc, the Windows Insider Senior Program Manager, simply stated, "We are working to get it rolling out again shortly." However, a glimpse at the Microsoft Feedback Hub reveals a multitude of issues reported by Insiders testing the 24H2 build. Complaints range from application freezes and performance degradation to VPN connectivity problems. Some users have even taken to social media to voice their frustrations, with one describing the Arm version as a "disastrous, worst 'release' preview I can remember." The Release Preview Channel is typically recommended for commercial users and those wanting to test upcoming Windows releases before general availability. Meanwhile, the Dev Channel caters to users who are comfortable with instability and rough edges. As The Register notes, the current situation echoes Microsoft's troubled rollout of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, which contained a data deletion bug.

Eperienced same/similar problem with theMatrix as in the videos. Asus quality and QC sucks. Read the comments. The second fan for my Matrix won't start. Not even if you force the fans at 100% speed. No more time fiddle with this now. The Matrix will be a fall/winter project for me. Yup.... Asus you sucks. -

cleaned of the damn hard paste. Loads of cleaner and Grizzly's Acetone thermal remover. The card have never been opened. But see ing scratches like this is not someting I see everyday on my older hardware. Imean I have never seen such. Two deep scratch blobs/dents in the heatpipe, scratches on the die and on the PCB traces. Yup, we talk about Asus upper best flagship product @Mr. Fox I'm maybe nitpicky, but I expect better than this. I have graphics cards from so called cheap brand and cheapest SKUs... But come like this. All this is from lack of quality control. Here's something for bro @Mr. Fox 🤢 Nothing surprises me more in tech world. Maybe the storage jockey @Rage Set want one as well😆 MSI's M.2 add-in card looks like a GPU, sports two hot-swap PCIe Gen 5 SSD slots -

The flagship from Asus couldn't even have been binned as the cheapest 980Ti Kingpin card. I opened up theAssus Matrix 980Ti. Not very impressed over the paste job done by Asus for their overprice flagship card. As well see what Asus offer of binning for their flagship. What's wrong with Asus? Going cheapo for the binning. Thermal paste job done by blind monkeys. And Asus can't even afford cooling for the vram for their gaming flagship. And the only flagship coming with wimpy 2x 8-pinspower connectors of the tree big brands. Weird Asus is still in the tech top. Every new gen of Asus hardware have some major flaws. Something is very good and something is very bad. Flagship products shouldn't have major flaws. Their culture can't be changed over night. All too much is wrong. This is the cooler from Galax. Nickel plated copper cold plate. Come with 7 pipes and as well cooler for the vram. And the paste joblooks decent. Asic scores (quality measurements) range from 67% to 85% is awful graceful for flagship products. This should have never happened from any company. And if I have digged more I'm sure I would see samples down to low 60% asic. Sad seeing this is the normal. Even today (yep, we don't have asic scores to measure quality anymore but some things will never change - we are still offered trash). -

People have too much trust into stupid engineers and for their preferred brand. You can’t fix stupidity. Also Asus tried similar for their high end motherboards. Update bios via forced updates from apps and Windows servers is perverse. https://www.tomshardware.com/laptops/hp-bricks-probook-laptops-with-bad-bios-many-users-face-black-screen-after-windows-includes-firmware-in-automatic-updates -

While it is easier to cool down CAMM2 modules using a waterblock, it should be kept in mind that this form-factor was designed for density, not for ultimate performance. Therefore its signal contacts are located very close to each other, which could result in such effects as cross talk and interference. This is not a problem for operation at standard frequencies, but it usually affects overclocking potential. And what with possible double sided modules or double up with two Camm slots? -
Never too late stop this madness but I think Microsoft still will try another way around to lure stupid people into their disgusting trap. The whole world is filled with stupid people. Hence this won't stop here bro @Mr. Fox Microsoft backtracks on new Recall feature

Remember nvidia isn’t keen make new GeForce gaming cards now that can compete with their workstations cards. More vram for next gen gaming cards will reduce their profits. The reason 4090 is so damn expensive is because prosumers use them as workstations cards. +16-24GB vram is enough to use gaming cards as workstations cards for cheap. And offer cheap 16-24GB CARDS isn’t wanted. Edit. See also.... Interestingly, Nvidia seemingly makes no changes to Blackwell's memory sizes. Laptop users may not have access to 16GB until they scale up to the GeForce RTX 5080. This would be a minor improvement since Nvidia's current mobile Ada lineup doesn't offer a 16GB SKU unless you grab the flagship GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop. It's similar to AMD, which also only has the Radeon RX 7900M that comes with 16GB of memory. Exactly what the gamers want. More shortage of next gen high end GPUs. This PSU has enough juice to power four RTX 4090s — the HELA 2500R comes with four 12V-2x6 connectors and requires a special wall plug Everything is about offer the worst of both worlds. Modern and disgusting..... Intel Arc GPUs shown in all flavors — BTF design with hidden connectors, blower-type coolers, and liquid-cooled GPUs These affordable, low-profile cards will give your SFF or mini-PC build a more powerful GPU than what integrated CPUs can deliver. -

Thanks bro Fox🙂 It seems I won the Matrix 980Ti lottery🙂 The asic score is 81.5%. On top I won the vram lottery and got Samsung vram🙂 The card looks in very good shape. But the card need a re-paste. Remember the card in unopened (never re-pasted) and the card is 9 years old. Ultimate GTX 980 Ti Matrix Platinum Air/LN2 Overclocking Guide by Xtreme Addict My new "old" card. Say hello to the Matrix from Maxwell gen. Of course I haven't forgot the pict lover @electrosoft😁 Just a render test. The only I have access to. Conductive metal tape. But I need a real LN2 vbios. Have one saved that I will try flash later. A very huge and heavy card. But still below half the weigt vs my 4090 HOF Edit. Flashed the recommended 900W vbios Edit. @Mr. Fox How is this even possible? Asus bin their best 980Ti Matrix Platinum cards from mid 60% Asic and upwards. I got asic 81.5% and Samsung while others get the pure bottom trash and loads of Matrix cards come with with Hynix. -

Here's more info about AssRock's idiotic move.... Only drawbacks and zero gains. You like stupid changes only for the change, bro @Rage Set? All this new reminds me all too much what happened with laptops and why I hated it so much. Apple and Alienware was the trendsetters with dongles because of the lack of needed I/O ports. Seeing desktops going the same way is sad to see. ASRock Z890 Taichi Aqua comes with ten USB Type-C ports, two being Thunderbolt ports I replied. -
Microsoft Research scientist gives non-answer when asked about Windows Recall privacy concerns Not exactly reassuring A HOT POTATO: Microsoft's Recall feature is being universally slammed for the privacy implications that come from screenshotting everything you do on a computer. However, at least one person seems to think the concerns are overblown. Unsurprisingly, it's Microsoft Research's chief scientist, who didn't really give an answer when asked about Recall's negative points.

The Green winter have started here home. From 1. June and until now the weather have been equal disgusting as much of the new tech we have seen from Computex 2024.
