Thank you 🙂 Here's an follow up video. Asus continue as they always do... Blame the users. Nothing wrong with the companies own culture. I wonder how much it would cost if Asus had two 12+4 power connectors that needed to be swapped for their 4090's. Double the price? Aka +$5000 ? 🤪 -

Yup, The weather was fantastic. Here's the menu for the day. Not special, more like a shortened down menu for the big day. You can see the price level for relative cheap resaurant here in central/middle Norway. From $16.50 for the hamburger plate with burger + chips and Pepper beef menu cost $37. Yup, 0.5l beer as you can see from my table outside the door cost close to $13. Not cheap but the restaurants pump up the prices on everything for special days as etc Constitution Day. Can you spot the very clever photographer in the reflection?😀 Yup that's old me. Welp. Soon back to the normal for the season. Back to the cold. Nothing will last long here up in the cold North☹️ Weather changes and snow expected in the north New/Newer is always better bro @ryan @Rage Set😁 Three-year-old CPU beats Intel's fastest current chip in RAM benchmark — 7 GHz Core i9-11900K tops 8.3 GHz Core i9-14900KS in PYPrime 32B And newer will always come with problems. Doesn't the HW manufacturers have enough resources (money, time and engineers) to do it themself? DisplayPort 2.1 has a serious issue with UHBR-certified cables — it could explain Nvidia sticking with DP 1.4 on RTX 40-series It seems Intel is readying for next gen processors. What's better than do it with firmware, drivers and software? Hmm. Intel Releases Security Updates Addressing 90 Vulnerabilities, Including a Critical AI Tool Flaw Published The day before yesterday by Hilbert Hagedoorn 2 Intel has issued 41 security advisories covering more than 90 vulnerabilities as part of its latest Patch Tuesday update. This routine update cycle addresses numerous issues across Intel's range of products, predominantly on the software side. The highlight of this release is a vulnerability in the Intel Neural Compressor, which has been assigned the highest severity rating of 10.0 on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS). This critical flaw could allow an escalation of privilege attack via remote access on versions prior to the latest update. The Neural Compressor, a tool not commonly found on most computers but used in AI-engineering workflows, is designed to optimize AI language models by reducing their size and enhancing their performance. Given its specific application, only a targeted user group typically utilizes this tool, though it's critical for those users to ensure they have updated to the latest software release to avoid potential security risks. I wonder what Asus will charge for swapping out the small nvidia power connector forwards... The half? Aka $1400 USD ? Premium priced products need premium prices for repairs. The Apple way. And what with the rest of the world? Same price philosophy? Recent feedback has highlighted some gaps in our RMA communication process in the US and Canada. We are revising our repair pricing structure for out-of-warranty products; this includes a thorough review process for any abnormal pricing to ensure consistency, transparency and fairness. Today (already passed 00:00) is Norway's Constitution Day The 17, May And here home in central Norway we have wonderful weather. We have for the moment the warmest weather in the whole country. 25-28C. Very rare this happen in the spring month. Yup, finally I can have the use for the AC part in the combined heat/cold pump I bought last fall. Close to 28C is almost as hot it is in @Mr. Fox land in the spring😀 But me being saved by the new AC unit, HaHa Today we will go out and eat good food and drinks. Of course I will sit out in this weather. No time for me sitting inside with computers🤩 -

AMD's gaming graphics business looks like it's in terminal decline By Pcgamer.com There's no getting round it, the Radeon RX 7000 GPU family looks like a disaster. What is a disaster? The same as Jokebooks? You want a disaster bro @Mr. Fox?😀 Here's more disaster but this time from Nvidia and their AIB partners.... I hope Manli offer cheaper repairs than Asus. Because the new re-hashed revised (12V-2×6) Gpu power connector isn't the gods saviour for the 4090 users as people think. Again and again the user's fault for Manli... overclocking.com -

My main point. AMD is a lot worse than Nvidia. Even cuurent gen Radeon is rehash of previous gen. Now they will make bug-fix of current gen cards and dub it zen 4. Higher numbers better? That's 3 in a row. This is same paths as we know Intel follow for their Cpu's. -

Nvidia will come up with brand new graphics cards while AMD offer bugfix for previous gen cards. What an difference between these GPU manufacturers. You got'a love AMD bro @Mr. Fox😀 AMD is also very known for re-hashing/rebranding old graphics cards. This is what we call milking. https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-rdna5-is-reportedly-entirely-new-architecture-design-rdna4-merely-a-bug-fix-for-rdna3 -

With better quality, QC and engineering you will get better products who will have less problems. But this won't happen.... Maximized profits is the only goal. You all have to acccept worse tech products forwards. Me....No love for it. They all offer me nothing. Just more anger. Exactly what desktop users want. More hardware meant for phones and Jokebooks🤢🤢🤢 Multiple Arm vendors are making chips for desktop PCs — Arm exec says Qualcomm Snapdragon won't be the only game in town🤮 -

Nope. Here's from my son's 3070. I expect higher scores if done with my KS pushing physics above 64.000. $200 scam could I live with from Asus. But $2750 fee for replacing the small cute GPU power connector is harder to swallow. It seems Asus can live very well with bad reputation. Asus quotes ridiculous $2,750 fee to replace chipped GPU power connector— docs back up claims of egregious repair pricing for $2,000 RTX 4090 GPU Here is what to expect for tomorrows new modern tech. More of Thermal throttling algorithm and software/drivers to handle it is the gods saviour. Give with one hand then take it back with the other hand. Intel's answer to PCIe 6 heat concerns is a driver that throttles bus speeds Higher transfer speeds come at a cost The new PCIe bandwidth controller driver has been through five revisions so far as Intel engineers continue refining the thermal throttling implementation. It's not finalized yet, but adoption is likely coming in the next year or so. -

4080 mobile is on level with 4070 tier desktop cards. And they aren’t 4K cards. The fake frames generator works with all 4000 series cards. Get rid of it. Buy something else as I have already posted. And don’t be screwed by some support tech. Claim your rights!!!! Don’t let em screw you. Return to sender!!! Aka back to the shop it goes. There’s no way back brother @ryan. Return it. I’m serious. I won’t accept lackluster buys from my hard earned money. Neither should you. Even a so called good high end laptop is trash. Give me my money back please. For me…. I'm all in. I would never ever find it smart buying laptops since 2015/16. Clevo P870 is my end of the laptptop road. They all are waste of your money since. And please also listen on bro @Mr. Fox as well. A very smart man. One time AW jockey… Never again. And I can repeat this. All laptop from any company sucks. And they sucks hard. -
