  1. Here\s an bad value from Razer. Overpriced Gaming chairs up to $1000 depending on the config. Disgusting.
  2. Here\s a long list of overpriced junk from Razer you should avoid. I have only owned a mouse from Razer many years ago. That was my first and last purchase from razer.
  3. A lot talk similar as my older post below. Castrated 14th gen vs new and shiny in games only benefit Intel and their new processor. Not sure this is legit or have latest firmware before release. But...... Take a look.
  4. I forgot. Hwbot have it already listed... Geekbench - AI The good thing... Asus have already implemented NPU overclocking on their boards😎 Me using this... Nope. Yup, One click overclock. A must have I'm sure the kids already have the benchmark software in their tool box. They already use it for smartphones so the benchmark software should be well known Geekbench AI - Cross-Platform AI Benchmark Compare AI Performance Across Platforms Geekbench AI runs identical workloads on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux. Our benchmark is built for hardware across the capability spectrum, whether you're testing a smartphone with an ultra-low-power NPU or a dedicated workstation with a kilowatt-plus of dedicated AI compute. Instantly compare results using our Geekbench AI results browser.
  5. Look at this bro @Mr. Fox No MSI software can push older Lighning cards above 1.307 - You need custom HOF_NVVDD XOC tool to go above that stupid voltage limits. Sad seeing MSI only care about own in-house overclockers/choosen ones and provide them with custom Afterburner Extreme that no others can have. Disgusting! Oh'well. Galax own XOC tool to rescue😀 And even today, people have to rely on Galax for modern graphics cards. Isn't that sad? No one of the AIB bother offer awesome nowadays. Everything is heavly screwed up. And don't put all blame on Nvidia... The AIB partners is equal bad and could have done as Galax. If needed, just hide any HW mods/tweaks on the PCB from nvidia's sticky nasty fingers. Yup, the old custom HOF XOC tool works just fine with the old MSI card😊 And you have enough voltage headroom on the slider to easly fry the card. https://hwbot.org/submission/5665738_papusan_gpupi_v3.3___1b_geforce_gtx_770_38sec_508ms/ https://hwbot.org/submission/5665846_papusan_3dmark_vantage___performance_geforce_gtx_770_64647_marks?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5665803_papusan_3dmark___fire_strike_geforce_gtx_770_9868_marks?recalculate=true
  6. New report warns of smart TVs: 'A Trojan horse' TV 2024-10-08 Connected TVs and streaming sticks have become a "privacy nightmare", according to the American Center for Digital Democracy. Now CDD has sent letters to several American authorities where they call for stronger regulation of how data may be collected and used in the CTV industry.
  7. Yeees. Stick it where......... How long will Intel support older processors for modern games? Damn sad we now need software to make the hardware work as intended. You should never need special software to get what to expect from your processor. Yup, the "hybrid mess" with baby cores with another arch show its ugly nature. Intel APO Now Available In 26 Games: Faster Performance On Core Ultra 200S & 14th Gen CPUs GTX770 https://hwbot.org/submission/5664915_papusan_unigine_superposition___1080p_xtreme_geforce_gtx_770_1778_points?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5664869_papusan_gpupi_v3.3___1b_geforce_gtx_770_39sec_201ms/ Seems the secret sauce don't work so well with the non K chips. Hmmm. Could be lack of tested chips or ASRock used Top binned K chips for their mem OC claims. ASRock lists Core Ultra 200 non-K CPUs with slower DDR5 memory support than K-Series Typically, slower memory support is expected on budget-oriented motherboard designs, such as the B860 series, though these have not been announced yet. In this case, we’re looking at the Z890 Taichi, a premium enthusiast board that includes all of ASRock’s latest features for the LGA-1851 platform, such as the Memory OC Shield. This makes the memory disparity between K and non-K models even more surprising, given the highend nature of the Z890 Taichi. And Intels brand new Core Ultra hybrid processors is even worse at gaming... Yup, it's called progress forwards. Or better say backwards into the future. Leak indicates AMD Ryzen 9000X3D series CPU gaming performance will disappoint
  8. Tempting bro @Mr. Fox? More overclocking features/toggles with the Intel's "Ryzen version" from TSMC (glued mess). When will we get NPU overclocking benchmarks on hwbot?🙄 MSI Enhances Motherboard AI Capabilities with AI Boost Feature in Z890 and X870 Series MSI details exclusive 'AI Boost' feature that overclocks the NPU for a performance boost tweaktown.com The secret sauce... ASRock's new generation Z890 series has added the new "Memory OC Shield" memory shielding technology, making this generation of motherboards significantly ahead of the competition in terms of memory performance The Memory OC Shield is much talked about since the manufacturers announce the support of DDR5 frequency up to 9600 MT/s and ASRock, 10133 MT/s. According to our colleagues at HKEPC , the ASRock team with the help of the in-house overclocker , NickShih, have developed a special material to cover the memory line of the motherboard, thus considerably improving the overclocking performance and the stability of the memory. https://overclocking.com/asrock-z890-taichi-ocf-memory-oc-shield/ ASRock Z890 motherboard’s exclusive patented Memory OC Shield breaks through D5-10133 According to Nick Shih, after adding Memory OC Shield shielding material, the DDR5 memory clock speed of the entire ASRock Z890 series of motherboards has been significantly improved. Even if a CPU with poor IMC is used, it can run stably at high temperatures at a lower IMC voltage. clock, greatly improving the memory compatibility of the motherboard.
  9. You actually don't own the games you’re purchasing. You rent them. Exactly same as in the old days when you rented video movies in the video-stores in the old days. So stop saying it's an bargain purchase if you find a cheap game key. You only have it on loan until the greedy companies throw the game features down the drain. Do you own or rent your games bro @Mr. Fox @ryan? When will everything you buy in any stores or on the web be seen as a license/rented item? The future seems grim. Potential problems surrounding digital sales of games in particular have begun to receive more attention recently, not least here at SweClockers where Fredrik Eriksson recently requested legal requirements to preserve old games. Steam now explicitly states you don't own the digital games you're buying In clear terms, Steam wants you to know that you're actually buying a "license" to access its digital content. Some digital services are already adapting to the new regulations, which aren’t set to be enforced until next year. Steam is one such company, having already implemented a change in the Steam storefront that explicitly notifies customers that they’re purchasing “a license for the product on Steam” and don’t actually own the game outright. And they need to protect their profits at all costs.... The more greedy publishers, game stores and developers become... Expect more piracy. Piracy can reduce sales revenues by 20%, a sizable loss for publishers and developers Read more: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/101036/piracy-can-reduce-sales-revenues-by-20-sizable-loss-for-publishers-and-developers/index.html
  10. Finally had the time to re-paste and check the asic score for the 770 Lightning. Asic 81.7% and Samsung vram. Not bad. Sad we can't have such features for todays graphics cards. This feature is probably closed down by Ngreedia. Because they don't want that you know what you got.
  11. Hmmm. It seems Ryzen 9000 X3D chips will beat the new "gaming downgrade". Aka Intel Core Ultra Chips with at least 15% in gaming. If not 20%. What Intel have left now is the single core performance crown. That's something. Better than nothing? Huuuh. The move to tiles destoyed everything for Intel. They'll need an X3D chips themself due the new added latency problems. AMD Ryzen 9000X3D “3D V-Cache” CPU Gaming Performance Leaks Out: Ryzen 7 9800X3D 11% Faster Than 7800X3D, Ryzen 9 9950X3D 13% Faster Than 7950X3D
  12. Hmmm. One of its kind or down as a ragdoll in shame? Hope ASRock really can deliver better than the other "underdogs" with their up-blown mem OC specs. What's the secret sauce that make ASRock (Taichi OCF is the successor to the ASRock Formula series) so much better than the others best OC boards this time? @Mr. Fox Seems Asus is more careful on the promisses. ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF - 10133 MT/s+ MSI MEG Z890 Unify-X - 9600 MT/s+ Z890 AORUS Xtreme AI TOP - 9500 MT/s+ ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 APEX - 9000 MT/s+ Maxsun iCraft Z890 Vertex - 9000 MT/s+ ASRock’s Z890 Taichi OCF Listed With DDR5 10,133 MT/s Speed Support, Highest Memory Rating Across All Z890 Motherboards So Far Intel LGA1851 socket has a new ILM that helps CPUs run a bit cooler Also, the new flat load plate promises to circumvent CPU bending or at least reduce it. For some reason, MSI's webcast does not explicitly say this. Yet, since Intel's Arrow Lake processors use a multi-chiplet design, their bending could be devastating and kill these CPUs, so Intel had to alter the socket design.
  13. Yup, and we all know you'll always get some extra from Redmond😁 Windows 11's big 2024 update leaves behind ~9GB of undeletable files Windows 11's 2024 update is now also killing internet connections Users are reporting network connectivity issues after installing the Windows 11 24H2 update. Windows 11's October update doesn't install, gets stuck and restarts The newest Windows 11 updates — KB5044284 and KB5044285 — are throwing error codes and failing to install for some users.
  14. “We actually had a long, a really long chat internally about how to allocate the transistor budget on this part,” Hallock continued. “To be clear, yes, it was fully possible to put a 50 TOPS, 40 TOPS NPU on this product, but to do so would also require shrinking the core count, changing the GPU core count. Be happy Intel didn't shrink on the core count. Wouldn't it be nice if Intel's desktop flagship had only 6 P-cores and 8 babies? Aka 14 threads. Or the Core Ultra 265K (14700K replacement) got 4 P-cores and 8 E-cores. But it would still be the single thread champ if that matters.
  15. They also follow AMD footsteps regarding latency.... Intel’s decision to split the memory controller and PHY into their own tile (I/O tile) was to improve yields, but this creates memory latency issues that contribute to the lower gaming performance. Intel does offer the option to overclock the tile-to-tile interface, but we’ll have to see how that plays out in real-world testing.
  16. At least you can expect better gaming performance. Worse with Intel's new processors. The failure is complete and confirmed. On par and sometimes with lower gaming performance than previous gen Core processors. New is always better bro @ryan. Intel......... Fantastic progress. One Giant leap forwards backwards. One Giant Leap in gaming performance pr watt. Is this a Joke? What next? Maybe 300 series will run even more power efficient and offer same performance as Intel Cpu's from 2023 ? And why compare with old 7000 series AMD Ryzen? Intel Launches Arrow Lake Core Ultra 200S — big gains in productivity and power efficiency, but not in gaming Exacly what modern gamers wanted. Maybe they now can use their fancy low Z-high tower coolers intended for Non K chips?
  17. From 13:10 Nvidia Confirms RTX 50 Release | Arrow Lake Gaming Benchmarks And from 10:10 Opened up the MSI 770 Lightning. As expected, 11 year old rock-hard thermal paste. Never been opened so this is real old paste from the factory. They don't use such thermal paste nowadays for new and modern. The new and modern get the cheapest you can get that last maybe a few months. Not +10 years as this old lady have run🙂
  18. This is the performance that matters in end of 2024/25. Single threaded performance. Why all the talk about multi core performance? It seems no one need it. Or do they? Remember there are several benchmarks now on the bot that cater to single threded performance. Modern computer users want smartphone power efficiency nowadays. Hence we now have smartphone cores packed into desktop processors. It's what it is. Update: A new slide shared by Wnxod shows Core Ultra 9 285K compared to Ryzen 9 9950X in four benchmarks. It claims that Intel has 8% geometric increase over last-gen series in single-threaded applications and 4% advantage over Ryzen 9 9950X. See... Intel beat AMD🥴 And you probably don't need good cooling anymore. Isn't that a win for Intel? See also... This Nice seeing engineers as Aris at Cybenetics say the same as I have said from the beginning.... 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 power connector on the PSU panel is stupid. Rather go back to add loads of 8-pin connectors on the PSU. And stop making things worse than it has to be with this stupid designed power connector on the PSU side.
  19. In reality it could be worse? Nice. The final Vmin Shift Instability issue fix come right in time before Arrow Lake release date. I wonder if the fix was able to narrow the performance gap bethween Arrow Lake and the faster 14900K in games. Yup, I expect the performance figures in games showed in the Chinese slides from Intel bethween Core Ultra 9 285K and 14900K is done with an castrated 14900K running their latest fix. In short... The gaming results from Core Ultra 9 285K are even worse than what the slides show😀 But hey, what do I know. The single core Jockey's got exactly what they wanted. Power efficiency to try beat ARM and AMD in what's matter. Exactly where I see Intel right now.... Stupid is as stupid does. From reddit...🤢🤮🤢 ARL-S IPC (vs 13/14th) P Core +9% E Core +32% So Intel throwed away HT for better power efficiency and measly 9% IPC gains for the P-cores. And the so called better multi threaded performance will mostly come from improved Baby cores. Disgusting!
  20. Intel bashed AMD's offering as being a "glued-together" solution. And here we are today with brand new Intel Cpu's glued together with 5 dies but two of them is so called "dummy" dies🙄 So Intel take it to another level. Hmmm, how dumb can this be? Maybe sanding of the whole die tile mess will be the new most needed mod for consistent core to core temp delta. Intel slide criticizes AMD for using "glued-together" dies Intel Core Ultra 9 285K “Arrow Lake-S” CPU picture leaks out
  21. Intel will put their money where they can max out profits to please their shareholders. Aka full focus on mobile and server chips. Mainstream desktop chips can easly be made from silicon and arc meant for Trashtops. Mainstream destop processors is now shuffled into no-man's land. Intel Lunar Lake 15W Benchmarks Bode Well For Future Gaming Handhelds In our reviews of Lunar Lake systems, we've noted that a particular bright spot for the new Intel SoC, besides its excellent efficiency, is its graphics performance.
  22. Looks like an fantastic chips for the single thread Jockey's. Intel can for the second time beat Apple in benchmarks that matters for tomorrows computer users. See... Many of they have never ever owned or experienced an real single core Intel Cpu from several decades ago. Now they can come close to have one. The single core performance will be amacing for their computer tasks 🤔 Intel Core Ultra 9 285K Breaks Past 5K Points To Become The Fastest Single-Threaded CPU At PassMark, 11% Faster Than 14900K New single thread CPU performance leader....
