  1. We may see a change once the EOL date have passed in Oct. And new pc's (prebuilt junk/Jokebooks and tablets) still flood the market. And I guess all of them have Windows 11 installed. Of course Win 11 will take over the marketshare.
  2. Right in time before prices start stabilizes at bottom and may go creep upwards again. And I expect Nvidia will prioritize 5090D v2 for China. 24GB vram cards for 5090 prices for China at +$2000 is also a huge win. And only god knows how many real 5090 will be smuggled into China when the people see they being scammed by Nvidia with the v2. 24GB vram cards for $2000 is hard to swallow. The Blackwell gen cards will stay here yet another two years, so.... Keep track of inventory of "cheap" gamer cards to maximize profits is damn important task. NVIDIA is also preparing for a new AI accelerator for China as well, that would be a Blackwell-based GDDR7 solution, so the focus will be shifted towards this market segment. These SKUs paired with the dumbed down 5090 will keep the wheels running busy at the factories. Also 3GB memory chips will surely fly off the shelves for premium/inflated prices once China has figured out how to make them work with 5090's. NVIDIA Rumored To Slash GeForce RTX 50 Production To Prioritize AI Chips NVIDIA has been busy with its AI chips in a world with rapidly increasing demand, to quench the thirst of heavily invested tech corporations. And as such, it may further reduce GeForce RTX 50 series GPU production to focus even more on its more profitable data center products. How much of a reduction are we talking about? As spotted on Gazlog/Chiphell by WCCFTECH, its said total inventory levels may decrease by as much as 30%, which can mean higher prices are likely here to stay for the foreseeable future. Assuming the report is accurate, of course. From greed to managing the world of technology... The US administration (government) sold their soul for rare earth metals. I hope this is wrong and not correct. US lifts China's export ban on chip designs: They need its rare earths This has an immediate impact . Through software, Chinese companies can restart stalled projects , improve existing designs, and plan new chips competitively.
  3. Maybe the prices for RTX 5050 should be lowered as well. Asus want wopping $289 for their best custom 5050 card. Of course Nvidia didn't want a review of these graphics cards. At least the brand new 5050 can beat the old RTX 3060 released 4.5 years ago. That's something, Huhhh. The New Game Changer is up in tests.... After another review-less launch, the first RTX 5050 benchmarks are here — Nvidia's budget card loses to B580 and RTX 4060, with only multi frame generation to give it a boost
  4. LOL Now Microsoft has completely screwed up: Destroying Alt+Tab in new update Skip the optional update KB5060829 if you use the keyboard shortcut frequently. Microsoft admits issues in Windows 11 June 2025 Update with Print to PDF
  5. 🤐🙄 🤔 Yup, for US. Not here. Maybe the tariff war force people re-think what they buy. At least they can return it within the return window. Edit. Not great time spend a lots of money you don't have. Damn sad see the direction it heads... I have seen the middle class in US will get 1% lower taxes from the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’. Some even less. But above $200.000 and you may get 4% less tax. The winners is as always the rich that don't need to return what they already bought. +10% tariffs and increased inflation from it on top of that are hard to bear/swallow. 1-3% less tax won't help much to lower the pain. The best pain-killer is as always to return what you shouldn't buy in first place. And hope you get back your money.
  6. This is status while Nvidia still struggle fix weird bugs with loads of hotfix drivers patching previous hot fix drivers released a week before for their latest and greatest released a half year ago. On top nvidia haven't much time for previous gen graphics cards as 2000/3000/4000 series due all their problems with latest gen 5000 series cards. Yep, this while AMD now put more resources on improving performance for Radeon cards. Once Nvidia is out with the Super cards (refresh to make more money) then expect new rounds with WHQL drivers neeeding loads of hotfix drivers making havoc in their whole GPU stack. Often with week between them being released. AMD’s Latest Drivers Improve Radeon RX 9070 XT’s Performance By Up To 27%; GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Is Now Slower Overall....
  7. The real reason Intel headed into graphics cards... They wanted their share from the AI market. Jul 01, 13:42 Intel confirms Arc Battlemage GPUs will expand into Edge/AI market in Q4
  8. Hmm. Wire gauge become thincker the lower numbers. 12V-HPWR cables use 16 gauge. Exactly same gauge as older 8-pin cables from an quality PSU. But the pitch is different vs the good 8-pins connectors. Hence the old 8-pin connectors can run colder. Aka more space beween the pins. The damn 12+4 pin connector is alll too small and tiny. Should have been double the size. And with more space between the pins. This way they could use thicker pins with more spacing in between in the terminals and thicker wires as etc 14 gauge copper wires for the cable. 6x12V power pins is enough if you make the connector properly from the beginning. But now it's too late make a real major change for the tiny trash 😞 The term "pitch" typically refers to the distance between pins in a connector, like a 2.54mm pitch in a DuPont connector. The 12V-2x6 doesn't have a standard pin pitch. The pitch of the 12V-2x6 connector, also known as the 12VHPWR connector, refers to the distance between the center of one pin to the center of the next pin. Edit. From Jonny Guru... In reality, those 8-pin connectors can handle more current because you have 4.2mm pitch terminals vs. 3.0 pitch and they're spread out more which helps dissipate heat. This is nice. When you feel you got an amazing deal paying MSRP🥴 RTX 5000 graphics cards get deep discounts at Newegg — RTX 5070, 5060 Ti, and 5060 all fall to low prices ahead of Prime Day
  9. Nvidia open up for an possible 5080Ti/5090DD. Because the 5080 refresh as the Super is only a minor upgrade. So virtually no performance improvements. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER: An RTX 5080 with more memory The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER is primarily a disappointment because it doesn't close any performance gaps with the GeForce RTX 5090. According to well-known leaker kopite7kimi . We are looking at the same graphics chip as the RTX 5080, we are talking about the NVIDIA GB203 , although in its GB203-350-A1 version. The biggest problem is that it offers the same configuration of 10,752 CUDA Cores , 336 Tensor Cores and 84 RT Cores. That is, there is no improvement. The only real upgrade this gen from Nvidia is the 5070 Super... More vram and a small upgrade for cuda cores. But welcomen when you see the other Super SKUs useless upgrades. The GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER is said to come with only 6,400 CUDA Cores and… 18GB of VRAM. According to well-known leaker kopite7kimi , the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER will arrive with the NVIDIA GB205-400-A1 graphics chip . This chip will offer a 6,400 CUDA Cores configuration , which is only 256 more CUDA Cores than the GeForce RTX 5070.
  10. Windows 12 probably won't be coming out for another year, as Windows 11 version 25H2 announced https://www.tweaktown.com/news/106103/windows-12-probably-wont-be-coming-out-for-another-year-as-11-version-25h2-announced/index.html Windows loses 400 million users in just 3 years and at this rate it will no longer exist in a decade.
  11. Linux will be an good option once Microsoft push Windows 10 over the cliff. Windows loses 400 million users as mobile, Linux, and Mac use grows Windows seemingly lost 400 million users in the past three years — official Microsoft statements show hints of a shrinking user base

  13. It still goes in the right direction... Windows loses 400 million users in just 3 years and at this rate it will no longer exist in a decade. Windows seemingly lost 400 million users in the past three years — official Microsoft statements show hints of a shrinking user base
  14. 60% performance uplift with double amount cores (if this rumours is from the 52 cores cpu). I hope this MT uplift don't include the IPC increase. But Intel have a long time forwards to tune their next gen chips. Intel Nova Lake performance leak claims 10% single and 60% multi-threaded uplift
  15. This is the main problem with AMD. They go greedy and go after same price point as Nvidia but offer worse features. It's amazing to see that AMD always are able to find exactly same performance target as for nvidia long before the Geforce cards is released. They even branded the card xx70 (XT) tier SKU long before nvidia was out with their new xx70 Ti cards. Last time they did the same was when they said they went after xx80 performance and scrapped offer High end. They knew exactly where the performance level was for xx80 cards. Almost as they get all the info needed directly from Nvidia. They even price their cards after nvidia's recommended prices (MSRP). Just adjust it a bit below and hope low availability can inflate prices so they match Nvidia. AMD is nothing other than a nvidia light version.
  16. Yup, Microsoft prefer more bloat over anything. SteamOS thrashes Windows 11 on the new Lenovo Legion Go S with up to 83% more FPS
  17. LOL Not only lying but the engineers/marketing teams are just plain stupid. Microsoft says that 'Windows 11 PCs are up to 2.3X faster than Windows 10 PCs', neglecting to mention that it's comparing apples to bowling balls
  18. AI makes us worse at thinking for ourselves Several new studies indicate that frequent use of AI tools like ChatGPT can impair our cognitive abilities. @Mr. Fox As you can see.... AI make us more stupid. And modern people will be feeded with uncorrect info. So double up... You became more stupid and the stupidity make it so you don't see what's wrong with uncorrect info you beeing feeded with. Isn't that stupid?
  19. Have you something to add in for this? Windows 11 is 2.3 x faster than Windows 10, LOL Regarding increased security....With all the bugs they add in the security claims is not correct. Same as with Nvidia.... You can optimize security and functionality on older products if you give it same love as for the newest and most shiny. Stupids!!! Microsoft claims Windows 11 is 2.3x faster than Windows 10, so upgrade The company also suggests that increased PC security is another reason in favor of upgrading to Windows 11.
  20. God news is still god news. Microsoft is also facing a lawsuit for using pirated books to train its AI model. Today we learned that Microsoft is facing a class-action lawsuit led by a group of authors who claim the company used their books without permission to train its artificial intelligence model...
  21. Dell blames Qualcomm and its Oryon SoC for the "Night Light" problem in Windows 10 and 11, there is no solution Despite being designed to offer a healthier screen experience, the Windows Night Light feature has stumbled in certain configurations, and in fact, is pitting two companies, which are still partners, against each other.
  22. People that don't know what they pay for.
  23. Also Jayz got his hands on the XOC vbios. AMD have found a new way to cut costs... AMD changes the Ryzen 7 7800X3D PCB by removing some MLCCs, are they unifying the substrates? Many users started reporting from China that the overclocking headroom had dropped by 300 MHz compared to the original PCB , which also required more VCore as standard , for the same TDP . So there is no advantage? Yes, a lower temperature. At the moment, this new PCB has not been tested by any analyst for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which being the sales leader in many countries around the world, is gaining new interest for obvious reasons, especially for those who want to push it to the limit. How much will they save removing a few MLCCs ? 2-3 cents?
  24. Yup. GN's conclution was to be expected. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang begins sale of $925M worth of Nvidia stock — sale of 6 million shares barely dents his $123 billion in shares Just last year, its executives and directors sold over $1.8 billion in Nvidia stock, with Jensen raking in $713 million in cash after selling six million shares — the same amount planned for this year.
  25. Not the best results but Corsair is smart enough to continue offer 2x8-pin to 12v-2*6 cables on the 2025 refresh. Due this you get loads of 8-pin connectors. Corsair HX1200i ATX v3.1 (2025) power supply review – Efficient, quiet and not quite cheap A note on the pair of 8-pin connectors powering the device’s 12V 2×6 cable instead of a native connector. In my professional opinion, this is better and safer as the load is spread across two larger connectors rather than a single one, which helps to keep operating temperatures lower under high load. It also makes it easier to bend the appropriate cable closer to the side of the power supply without the risk of damaging the connector and increasing the resistance of certain conductor cross-sections or pins.
