Looked on your build.... You opted for Western Digital Black SN770 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Scrap the idea of 1TB drive. The prices is fast going upwards. Especially for drives with the bigger capacity. I would try at least get 2TB as minimum. If you can afford it, then go for 4TB. But 2TB is the middleman. Take also a closer look on Western Digital Black SN850X 2TB drives. Very good M.2 ssd's and on level with the 980/990 Pro's from Samsung. That's my two picks. @Rage Set I expect you have got what you need. If not maybe see what you'll need forwards. SSD's have been cheap a long time... And it won't last like theis forever. See also... Consumer SSDs will get substantially more expensive soon. SSDs pricing to 'skyrocket' as flash shortages are already underway -

One thing for sure. Cablemod have "burned" down all the bridges for making new 12VHPWR angled adapters😎 Edit. Got 6 errors. But no Remapping failure. Thats good. Just got love Hwbots requirements for forced ECC😁 I wonder how many users on Hwbot don't know that their bench subbbing requirements will destroy their cards. Seems like a good card. Congrats bro Tenoroon🙂 Here's the review from Guru3d.com ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER DUAL review guru3d.com Despite the competition from NVIDIA's Founder Edition card, especially at its $599 price point, this card distinguishes itself with its quiet operation, refined design, and similar baseline performance, including tweakability options. It's a challenging decision for consumers. However, when considering the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), this model is one of the more impressive offerings in its category, making it a recommended choice (excluding price considerations). -

Yup I as well. If I have it for free. And more of the same will come🤮 Remember we live in modern times now....... New Mini-PCs with Ryzen 7 7840HS and Core Ultra 9 185H now come built-in touch screens The mini-PC sector has seen a significant growth in recent times, thanks to the progress made by AMD and Intel in introducing power-efficient CPU designs. Users now have a plethora of options, ranging from ultra-compact designs to those with discrete graphics. Two companies, AYANEO and Minisforum, are taking different approaches with their systems. -

Hope so. As for enhusiasts products.... The more you look at Nvidia's two latest gen Geforce flagship... The more you see that this cards is meant for something different than gaming. Features like the "fake" ECC memory feature is for AI and as workstation usage. Not for Gaming. And that's smart done of Nvidia... Bigger chance that the cards will be sold well above MSRP. We have now desktop processors that's in short is Hybrid mobile laptop processors. Now we will see laptop memory sticks go into desktops.... That's a lot love for desktop PC's @Mr. Fox More compact and powerful CAMM memory modules are coming to desktop PCs https://www.igorslab.de/kompaktere-und-leistungsstaerkere-camm-speichermodule-kommen-in-desktop-pcs/ DDR5 and LPDDR5/5X CAMM2s cater to distinct use cases. DDR5 CAMM2s are intended for performance notebooks and mainstream desktops, while LPDDR5/5X CAMM2s target a broader range of notebooks and certain server market segments. The introduction of CAMM memory modules with DDR5 and future DRAM will represent a massive change in motherboard design. Current mainstream motherboards have 2 or 4 DIMM slots that can accommodate up to 256GB with the latest 64GB modules. To support CAMM, the entire PC motherboard ecosystem will need to be redesigned... Btw. Hmmm, Is there mostly female gamers in the Asia region? Or have the Asia'n gamer boys the same taste? Hmmm YESTON introduces Sakura RTX 40 SUPER SUGAR cards with white PCBs... -

Very useful if you buy used cards. You never know what you buy on the used market. Nice. Hwbot force you to destroy your graphics cards if you want points for the leaderboard (ECC Enabled). And this only apply to the so called "cheap" 4090's. It's correctly being called... Pay to play😀 Maybe reduce your memory overclock but that bring slightly less points. Remember you have paid for your hardware bro @Mr. Fox. Not all can be the "choosen one" that get free binned HW (also before launch day) if something happens. And they don't need have to wait weeks for RMA process or get replacement cards. Often you as the paying consumer get "half broken" used cards back from RMA for your shiny card in perfect condition. Only if you aren't one of the selected. They are doubled covered up. -
The chrome://flags tricks for getting rid of the new modern stupid Chrome download bubble feature doesn't work anymore. This one work. The software engineers dumbing down Chrome for every new version nowadays @Mr. Fox +++

Not so sure about that bro Reciever😀 Here is more. From the 4070 Super review below... Nvidia RTX 4070 Super AI Performance. AI is and will be a big part of the HW we use in desktops. And will count more and more forwards. Everything in desktop HW will be AI powered. From Hw to software and OS. Even the desktop bios offer AI tuning for performance gains. Will you move all topics of desktop hardware over on the AI thread now?😬 Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super review: Boosted clocks and core counts for the same $599 as the vanilla 4070 tomshardware.com Nvidia should have given the 4070 Super higher TGP and better cooling.... Its 220W TGP may be higher than before, but it's way off the 285W TGP of the RTX 4070 Ti and its new Super replacement, and that's one of the big reasons why the RTX 4070 Super is unable to hit the same frequency heights as its older sibling. But I expect Nvidia cater to the SFX builds with castrated TGP that can match worse and slimmer coolers. If this refreshed card was offered for $549 MSRP it would be a very decent buy for the gamers. The Asus 4070 Super Strix OC cost $1,001 USD here home. Yup that's +$1000 for xx70 graphics cards with 12GB vram. Super refresh or not doesn't really matter. It should have replaced the 4070 anyway but Nvidia prefered to continue with the card to try steal some gamers from AMD. -

We can talk more about premium. Premium has to be today's word. Keen on helping Microsoft to pay their bill? It's only $20 USD per month @Mr. Fox Or $240 USD per year. I'm not so lucky... Only $300 with the dreaded and forced tax. Will I pay for this? Nope. I wonder how much nagging we will see in Windows 10/11...... Funding AI chatbots is expensive, and Microsoft will ask nag those users who want the latest features of its Copilot AI chatbot to subscribe to a new plan: Copilot Pro, available for $20 per user per month. Yup, the real Nvidia way. Is less more than more @ryan? Maybe in my disturbed world I understand the weighted values wrong🤫 https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3050-6gb-to-feature-2304-cuda-cores-and-70w-tdp This new 3050 model is to feature a reduced core count, reduced memory size, bandwidth, and power. Not something that should be carrying a similar name at all. One cannot help but wonder why this card is called RTX 3050, not RTX 3040. -

ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 4080 SUPER priced at £1,350 in the UK, 40% above NVIDIA MSRP https://videocardz.com/newz/asus-rog-strix-rtx-4080-super-priced-at-1350-in-the-uk-40-above-nvidia-msrp Remember there is huge shortage of 4090's. Some want the flagship cards so whats better than 4080 Super nowadays? Asus know it. The same do all the other OEMs. I hope this is just a bad April fools Joke. But we are still only in January. £1,350... That's only $1,718.21 United States Dollar. But this is included the U.K Tax nightmare (still lower than here home). Is 40% price premium acceptable for the higher end SKUs? That would mean a higher end 4090 OC card would be priced at... $2238 as lowest price. Not far from todays prices for 4090's. If you cand find some. China and nvidia is the big devil in this mess. + the scalpers that try grab cards for the Chineese market. -

I havn't heard much wrong with the Corsair angled adapters so maybe MSI also can do a better job than Cablemod?😀 And maybe the MSI dragon will make the difference for you?😆 For me... No thanks. -

Even more important nowadays because Microsoft is damn keen helping the OEMs to push out bios updates if you don't want or not via their own update servers. Even the retards at Asus prefer that Microsoft update your bios. If it's oc'd to the moon doesn't matter. And the cherry on top... You get old bios versions that don't support your brand new Cpu. Dual bios is a must nowadays. And one of the reasons I don't want any of the FE models from Nvidia is because you don't get dual bios rom. Too expensive or Nvidia know what you will use it for. Nvidia's RTX 40 Super GPUs land shockingly near MSRPs, check out these prices -

What's the problem here? Put two 8-pins as cons. What's wrong with today's tech reviewers bro @Mr. Fox ? If it was dobbel up with RGB puke on the card or more fancy colors on the shroud it would probably come on the Pros side of bottom line list. Why is it so bad balancing the load between two PCIe power connectors vs limiting it down to a single 8-pin power rail? Not all MB as etc the Apex have implemented a third 8-pin on the MB to feed it with power for all new fancy power charging features. Same here. I really hate the gaming chairs. I have looked into different shops here home, but mostly everything they sell (the one you can try) is awful and for gamers. Maybe @Recievercould make a thread and move the replies over there. This one below is an older post from me last year. I still haven't found something I like. -

The future is closer than you think..... Why not just ban AD102 from being used in China and their likewise countries that cooperate with them? But Nvidia have probably loads of AD103 chips meant for gamers they could use. Just make new SKUs of 4080 Super but with +20GB vram to fit their needs. Gamers don't need the higher end SKUs if Nvidia continue improve with fake frames features. Nvidia's RTX 4090D 'China GPU' only 5% slower than RTX 4090 The end result of the sanctions that banned the RTX 4090 really don't seem to have done much. To be sure, the RTX 4090D is a slower GPU, but it's hard to see how a few percentage points here or there will make much of a difference. The U.S. government might even be coming around to this point of view, as it eases up on increasing the strictness of its GPU export regulations. Single Chinese factory reportedly repurposed over 4,000 Nvidia RTXs With sanctions subsequently tightened further to cover gaming GPUs like the GeForce RTX 4090, Chinese factories have already started to buy batches of the new GeForce RTX 4090D. According to the FT report, the Chinese factory managers are evaluating the RTX 4090D for component performance and harvesting. I'm sure they are able to grab some vanilla 4090's as well. So the 4090 shortage will continue forwards. -
I still don't touch Windows Defender. Even if they come on first place. Microsoft is the last company I would use to secure my PC's. I still use antivirus for PC's on the internet. And thats Eset Nod32. For benching OS I don't use anything. But Windows Defender is the one of the first apps I delete from any of my Windows OS. Cancer is a nice disease vs what Microsoft offer you with their security suite. And Titus is very correct regarding full Internet Security suites. Because they add unnecessary tools bloat that nowone need or should install.
