  1. Same can be said for Microsoft's security features. BitLocker's reliance on a TPM for security is its own downfall in this specific exploit. Bitlocker is one of the most easily accessible encryption solutions available today, being a built-in feature of Windows 10 Pro and Windows 11 Pro that's designed to secure your data from prying eyes. However, YouTuber stacksmashing demonstrated a colossal security flaw with Bitlocker that allowed him to bypass Windows Bitlocker in less than a minute with a cheap sub-$10 Raspberry Pi Pico, thus gaining access to the encryption keys that can unlock protected data. His exploit only took 43 seconds to steal the master key. Second stupidity for the day.... Whatever Microsoft try to do.... They will never ever be able to offer a secure OS. So the forced HW requirement for Win 11 is just stupid. If you hadn't scanned your OS with AV software you would be pretty screwed if you bough Junkware from some retail shops.... If you own a mini-PC from AceMagic or one of the other sub-brands and are still using the original Windows installation, it wouldn't hurt to run a virus scan to see if you're malware-free. And why the need for smart toothbrushes? Whats wrong with people nowadays? You don't follow the modern trend if you use an normal old fashion toothbrush? Give me a break. 2. Thats a very good deal. Congrats bro Fox. But the price will still be $2000 with the block😀 And remember Gigabyte love make several revisions of their HW. One thing I don't like with them. Even th dog is black @electrosoft😀 This is outside in the dreaded black dark in the snowy North. The outside looks almost bright as the day, LOOL I mean the 4090 Defective have limited OC headroom. And forget X-flash with vanilla 4090 firmware. Yup, the 4090D is real Chinaware😃
  3. Stupid and scalpers.... They are all over the place on internet. And as long stupid buyers/consumers buy products at stupid prices this will just going on. How stupid can that be? PLANNED VOLUNTARY SAFETY RECALL OF CABLEMOD 12VHPWR ANGLED ADAPTERS, V1.0 and V1.1 Yup. Not much can be done...... Scalpers across Asia stripping RTX 4090 cards from pre-built PCs to smuggle into China GeForce RTX 4090 black market booms in China: videocardz.com Verifying whether this story is true is challenging, but the media reporting on this matter, has been reporting on similar situations from retailers in Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, and other China neighboring countries. It appears that the black market for RTX 4090 sales has evolved into a profitable business... Will the AI boom and the U:S ban continue destroy for the gamers when the 5000 series cards is out? Looks like that. @tps3443 For you....
  4. Maybe stolen gods. Or he got limited warranty.... https://www.msi.com/page/warranty Or bought it from a region that doesn't offer/fulfill same warranty. And up to the person follow up and push for free repair. Remember not all people/buyers are born equal. MSI won't honor warranty because Newegg shipped from.... Here as well. Asus flagship fail takeing the performance crown for 4080 Super. What's wrong with Asus bro @Mr. Fox? Greedy or they don't bother find the best silicon for their overpriced flagship graphics cards? Or can it be both? From 9:50 Nvidia tricks the consumers....Bastards. From what I know... Our old friend the salesman F. Azor still is a part of AMDs GPU team. So it has to be scummy people in both the Green and the Red camp. Not everyday you see double triple meltdown. Not only the 12+4 plug melt. Also old fashion 8-pin connectors. So also the PSU need to be swapped out. Yup, pretty with white. Now Alienware lunar White colored cable😁 Could it be due EVGA, user errors or Cablemod? Hmmm, I wonder how it smells with triple meltdown. Warning: CableMod E-Series Pro ModMesh Sleeved Cable Melting Issue - MSI Suprim X 4090 Users Beware!
  5. Yup, those premium stages may help if you x-flash Galax 660W vbios. But for gaming... They don't help much. With no XOC/Galax vbios you can just buy whatever float your boat. Don't be surprised that Nvidia is able to totally stop X-flashing with next gen graphics cards. Same with new modern motherboards. They are overbuilt to max out profits. Solder on $50 more expensive components then charge the tripple of the add3d extra cost.
  6. See/listening from... 8:23 - Or from 8:45 😑 Msi RTX 4090 Suprim X. Premium Graphics cards are nothing special. Regarding shuddy/questionable quality. 8. Yep. I read your whole post and saw what you meant. I think a lot help if they can explain the value of money. Much in the technological jump can be compared to real life. Everything cost money. Teach their children what's right and whats wrong. My own childeren grew up in the era of internet and sub/payments for everything. They suck up everything from all places. From games to the dreaded sosial media. You can come a long way as parents with basic understanding. And talk with you children. Thats the most important part in this. You don't need to understand everything that happen now in the tech world 🙂
  9. That's people with money. But much of the games with such sucky items is pushed towards the young ones. And be you sure... Many will be tricked into paying for something they don't understand the range of. They don't even need to be stupid... They are often dragged in by others/friends and this will only worsen. You being hooked into something you can't come out from. I hate such business practice. Not all have parents that can see how it works. And can enlightening them.
  10. Microsoft prefer consistency on how their OS works so it doesn't matter if you go for Win 10 or 11. Nasty bug means Windows 10's default apps are reportedly crashing constantly for some users Open up Photos app - watch it close mysteriously a couple of seconds later. Open it again - same result. Open it once again, and... well, you get the idea......
  11. Not Cablemod this time😁 Faulty 12V2x6 connector found with RTX 4080 Super card Igor's Lab determined the root cause of the issue, and says the PCI-SIG specifications for the 12V2x6 connector do not specify the exact dimensions of the connector itself, leaving cable manufacturers to do whatever they want. PCI-SIG specifies the header length, width, and height. Apparently, at least one manufacturer who builds Nvidia's 12V2x6 adapters messed up badly in the quality control department, potentially leading to some batches being defective — or at least, Igor received a defective adapter with one card. Regardless, if you happen to purchase a new RTX 40-series graphics card that includes any 16-pin adapter, it's important to ensure it fully 'clicks' into place. RTX 4080 Super teardown sheds light on power connector controversy A teardown of the Palit GeForce RTX 4080 Super GamingPro OC revealed spacing on the PCB for two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Curiously, the empty area is right next to the 12VHPWR power connector, almost as if using the connector was a decision after the original design. Although PCI-SIG has improved the design of the 12VHPWR power connector for enhanced safety, there is still a bit of fear surrounding the revised 12V-2x6 power connector, especially after the original one was the star of the meltdown fiasco on the flagship GeForce RTX 4090.
  12. Yup, if they don't fix the pricing the results will be even worse forwards.... AMD's results hurt by slowing demand for client and gaming hardware. Nvidia was able to compete with the $1199 regular 4080. With the cheaper Super refresh they will eat AMD to dinner. 7900 XTX can't be above $899. Rather sub $850 because many gamers will also buy the cheaper 4070 Ti Super for the added Nvidia features AMD can't compete with. AMD is under double fire now. And they need to put the price point for 7900XTX closer to the 4070 Ti Super. Yup, almost as Jayz took the words out of my mouth... Still terrible value.
  13. I would wait to see if I could grab a 4080 Super FE if I jumped on 4080 train. And there is still a chance you can get some cheaper vanilla 4080 cards coming below the Super MSRP. But if people are in need for new card... I can see where you go🙂
  14. No in hell I would pay $1100 and upwards for the custom 4080 Super cards. The $899 $999 MSRP for the vanilla cards is already bad value. Same was it for the custom EOL 4080's (even the lower end 4080s at MSRP). Add a custom block on top and the price for the custom 4080 Super cards will be even more disgusting. Just buy a vanilla card and flash to an better bios. And just run as is with the air cooler. Edit..... I still can't stop feeling pitty for those that jumped on the 4080 MSRP cards at $1200 USD. Those that jumped on custom 4080's from $1200 and upwards ($1450 for 4080 Strix OC) has to blame themself. Also this time you can see Asus fail deliver with their best binned flagship custom Strix OC cards. Can't even beat their cheaper cards (see the TUF OC Joke offer higher boost clock than the flagship). Yup, pay more... Get less. The modern tech trend continue. ASUS GeForce RTX 4080 Super STRIX OC Review And how can MSI be able to make a worse cooler/heatsink for their $1150 custom cards than Nvidia's 4080 Super FE model at $999 ? How much did MSI save on this? MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Super Expert Review Btw. The modest 1 to 3 percent performance increase with the higher boost clocks, more cores and speedier vram just show that the performance gains don't go proporsional upwards with the higher end of the SKUs. Maybe this works out better with the lower end SKUs. Pay more get less, HaHa Performance Averaged over the 25 games in our test suite, at 4K, we find the card only 1.5% faster than 4080 non-Super Founders Edition, which is MUCH less than expected. While NVIDIA never said "+5%," I definitely expected more. It's not a power limit issue, running at max power yields another +1% only. These numbers are pretty constant across resolutions, and even with RT enabled, too. There is definitely some variations in GPU chip silicon quality, which affects performance due to the way NVIDIA's Boost algorithm works, but with my sample size of 9 cards tested, I think that I can confidently say that there's no way you're getting +5% out of the 4080 Super, unless you manually overclock it. Other reviewers have similar numbers, so it's not just me. Surprisingly, the RTX 4070 Super, initially considered the least exciting among the new releases on forums, showed the highest performance increase (+15%). In contrast, the RTX 4070 Ti Super, despite receiving a GPU upgrade and a 33% memory bandwidth increase, only saw a modest +5% in extra performance. Today's release could almost be labeled a "rebrand," but the improved pricing certainly adds to its appeal.
  15. Almost forgot this one. I finally bought an Heat/AC pump for this winter. In short , two birds with one stone. A real AC unit to pump cold air when the summer temps is awful and a real heat source when the winter cold start up in the fall. Paid slight above $3000 USD for the unit and with the mounting job. The pump will give 6 times feeeded power. The pump offer 7KW/h heat and about the same for the cooling capacity. If you etc feed it with 1KW/h power and you'll get 6KW/h back as heat/cold. The pump will pay itself within 7-8 years and afterwards with a lifespan of 15-20 year it should provide quite some profits due ongoing awful electricity prices forwards here home. Not sure what you pay for monthly electricity in U.S but we pay from $200-300 USD per months depending on outdoor temperatures. And for the pict lover bro Electro. The madam wanted some more lights in the livingroom. I could mount it if I picked the lamp color.... I put up the spot rail and of course the lamps colors was in All black. Even the dreaded darkness here up in the cold and stormy North matching all black, HaHa
  16. If you want the new 4080 Super maybe see if you can find 4080's cheaper than the coming "Super" disappointment. A measly wimpy 2.4% performance boost in benchmarks with faster vram and +5% more cores isn't exactly very exciting. And $999 is still all too much for xx80 tier cards. Yup, if you can find a custom 4080 AIB card below $899 vanilla Super this is probably the way to go. Or just see if you can find the 4080 Super FE at msrp. Paying premium for custom Super of this card is a massive waste of money. NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER tested: up to 2.4% faster in 3DMark, similar gaming performance to RTX 4080 Yup 0.0020% performance gain in 3DM Time Spy. And what with 3DM Port Royal? A huge 0.0109% performance jump. Nice. I have never seen such a small gen performance uplift from vanilla to Super from same SKU series cards. Maybe Nvidia also this time screwed up and made a buggy/messy firmware. Who knows. But this is shockingly bad if this results is real/correct. Almost identical FPS between the 4080 and the upcoming Super card. Yep, I hope the Chinese gamers being excited by this nvidia launch. Can't see it otherway than the castrated 4090D will sell well in China if the gamers want flagship card (4K) performance.
  17. AMD prepare for 4080 Super. What you see is probbaly max prices forwards. But you are sure you have peeked on the right AMD card? Isn't fancy colors more inline with the RGB trend nowadays?😁 Yup, it could be your Sugar baby, LOOL Bro Electro..... Jumping on the trend.

Microsoft Edge reportedly steals data from Chrome without user permission Taras Buria · 5 hours ago Microsoft Edge is in hot waters again for its controversial behavior. 19. Dang, bro Fox. You may missing out from this tacky bundle with the Dragon coin. These LOOOOONG EDITION cards from Colorful is only for China. Maybe not the biggest problem if you really want a 2nd 4090. It's the castrated China version.... Dubbed D for Defective. Can't speak for others but I rather have bought a vanilla 4090 than the China version cards coming with the bundled Golden coin. I wonder how much extra the Chineese gamers have to pay for the Golden coin. The price for the Golden 4090 Disgusting card is close to $2200 USD. Colorful introduces GeForce RTX 40 GPUs and Z790 motherboard from “Loong Edition” series

  23. The elite/chosen one that get free top binned 4-dimm boards to help boost the sales of the brands products. Pair it with free top binned Cpu and Mem sticks and you are golden. The more I read about this new 2-dimm MB, the more I think MSI's reasoning for this move is damn flawed or idiotic. This new M-ATX 2-dimm board shouldn't be the successor for Z690 Unify-X. Or maybe this disgustingness is just yet another bad written article by Tomshardware. Read for yourself.... MSI already has the Z690 Unify and Z690 Unify-X for the overclocking segment "but never updated the motherboards for the Z790 chipset". Now, we know why. Classic MSI overclocking motherboard series returns with support for super-fast RAM What you think about the idea that all 2-dimm OC boards forwards has to be in M-ATX form-factor? Can you see how wrong MSI and Tomshardware's editor take on this topic? Is this the best idea MSI had to offer for oc'ers? Offer them OC boards meant for mini-PC's?
  24. What gamer need 4-dimms boards? You can get up to 96GB with only two sticks. And what gamer need more than half of that capacity aka more than 48GB ram? Lots of gamers go cheaper/inexpensive (see Steam survey) on HW. Why would they then max out ram capacity on 4 dim board? I could see the need for 4 dimms-board when 16GB was max for each of the sticks, but we aren't there anymore.
  25. Thanks. 3135-3240 depending on the benchmarks. 3240 fo shorter benches as GPU-Pi. Yup, 7900XTX offer more value than the overpriced 4070 Ti Super but I would skip both. None of they are tempting. And the price for the 4070 Ti Shhouldn't have exided $600 USD. That means $750 here home with the tax. This is prorobably because we now get higher ram capacity with two memory sticks. Expect more 2 dimm boards with the Z890 series chipset. A welcome move. Just reduce the prices and it looks much better.
