With more cuda cores you get slight diminishing returns for gaming and benchmarks. Nothing is put in stone as black and white. And the Cpu is normal the bottleneck for the flagship cards. We need faster CPUs. Want the best card for 4K and all the bling and lights you'll need 4090 or above. Not below. Not that 4080 Super isn't e good card but 4090 is a tier above. Both in price and performance. Etc 10% more cuda cores doesn't always mean 10% more performance. -

Try compare graphics scores. Cpu doesn't add much into the scores for 3DMark Suite https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/41777052/spy/44793723 And TS isn't 4K. The lower resolution the lower advantage you get with the higher tier cards. https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/45773266/spy/43671620 Etc Path tracing in 4K is 4090 task. Not for the lower end SKUs. -

My main pick on this. The results ain't fantastic. And AC need a bracket to compete with the others. That's what I don't like. And yup.... New doesn't always mean better than the old. Need a custom bracket to come on par with the old is flawed. https://www.kitguru.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/13900K-Temp-1400rpm-fans-768x768.png https://www.kitguru.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Noise-768x768.png And to add more fuel to the fire... For me. I don't like round blocks or the ugly rounded corners in Windows 11. Hence I use a reg tweak to get back the nice looking square corners in my OS UI. You can't do that with the new fancy blingy AIO from Arctic😁 You are forced to accept what you don't like. And that don't fits me. -

I*m 100% sure he talk about 3DM Time Spy graphics score. Remember bro @ryan have been very hunged up in that bench. No other bench scores match +-30.000 points for (graphics). -

I still don't understand the average 4090 scores (30k). That's wrong. Maybe for a half castrated Dell Alienware 4090 desktop card but not normal AIB cards. I mean I have never seen GPU score below 35.000 with stock GPU. Oc'd we see well above 41.000 in graphics score. And this with even the ECC memory trash Enabled. And that useless feature reduce scores and aren't even default settings in NCP. Only forced by hwbot. -

I have seen mixed results in reviews with the new AC Freezer III. And this doesn't make it much better.... If they can't make it working with normal mounting mecanism and need custom bracket then there is something wrong. Gamers Nexus' review of the Liquid Freezer III series reveals that Arctic is not only supplying its coolers with a dedicated contact frame and offset brackets, but it also requires either of them whether you are using the cooler on an Intel or AMD CPU. This means that Arctic is not supplying any sort of traditional mounting mechanism for LGA 1700 or AM4/AM5 as a backup; customers must use the company's own custom mounting mechanisms. Arctic's Liquid Freezer III coolers could void your CPU warranty — require a custom contact frame for Intel chips https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/liquid-cooling/arctics-liquid-freezer-iii-coolers-could-void-your-cpu-warranty-require-a-custom-contact-frame-for-intel-chips The air coller is meant for 600W heat load. -

Same with AMD. Nothing wrong with their GPU's build quality. But does that mean the product is flawless or good quality? Nope. Nothing is stronger than the weak link. You can have fantastic build quality but the product can still fail. NEWS Nightingale removes AMD's FSR 3 pre-launch for crashing too much A highly anticipated game scraps the AMD tech before release…and FSR 3 is still only available in a tiny amount of games. What's going on? See bolded text above😆 Congrats bro @tps3443 Looking good. Hope you'll be happy with the new card. Looking forwards to your findings 🙂 -

Hmmm. Not exactly brand new black crocs. This scammer have no class😆 The pair of women's shoes inside weren't even new, as they seemed to have been used... no graphics card, and a worn-down pair of women's shoes. Scam. I never got answers bak on my reply when the video was posted on Youtube. I can clearly see the "paint on the wall". And it seems the influencers throw the problem under the carpet. And I posted about this in the forum when the video was up... This could be worse. +80% Asic and Samsung Vram. But if I remember correctly... The Gainward GTX570 card had Asic above 86% and Samsung Vram. Yup "all black" bro @electrosoft😁 I got a new Coffee machine for this Christmas. As usual I buy automatic machines with coffee grinder so I can make it the way I want. The machines with Coffee pads is more expensive in use. But the machines is cheaper. -

I as well. Not much sun here home. No need for sun cream, HaHa But I drink a lot coffee. Probably +20 cups a day Some improvements. https://hwbot.org/submission/5487262_papusan_3dmark03_geforce_gtx_760_(256bit)_145773_marks?recalculate=true I don't like the lid. But it's impossible cruch the die if you overthighten. The screws will go to hell long time before the silicon😀 -

Yup. And this GPU have only 2 fans and a very small PCB and with less components than what we see from newer standards. The card is still close to 850 gram. And this huge GPU LID is damn expensive to repaste with Kryonaut Extreme😁 Die Size is 520 mm² but the GPU lid measure above 2000 mm². In short you need to apply close to 4 times more paste than needed. That's very expensive bro @tps3443 I wonder how much better temps have been without the lid. Probably 10-15C degrees colder. Yup. Norwegian pc shops want $105 USD for this little tiny bottle with paste +shipping. And I love that MSI didn't go the cheapo Stupid route as Asus did with their overpriced flagship cards as the Strix OC. Have never seen worse graphics card than the EVGA I have so the chances is slim it can be worse😃 Maybe wait with the order until you are sure you are happy with the card. For $1200 USD for a xx80 card ($800-850 tier card) you have to be sure you get the best of the best 🙂 Yees. I always try please the pict lover @electrosoft😁 I changed my mind. I will use <NTH-H2 for the new old. A lot cheaper than the Kryonaut Extreme. I'm cheapo as Asus? @electrosoftCan yoiu see something black?😁 Cleaned up --Looking good bro @Raiderman -

Yup. I really like the design. Many new modern cards have all too much plastic and come in many weird colors with all too much RGB bling. https://hwbot.org/submission/5486773_papusan_3dmark___sky_diver_geforce_gtx_760_(256bit)_28315_marks?recalculate=true -

Here's the new baby. More pictures for the pict lover @electrosoft😁 Saya hello to the N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC. The new "old" replacment for my dead Gainward GTX 570 GS. Yup, hardware can die if you ride them too hard. Yup, more metal and more heatpipes than the Gainward card. The Power Edition is the closest you can get Lightning (Msi never made Lightning of lower/mid end cards). Only Galax offer flagship design for their lower tier cards. And here's the dead Gainward card. Couldn't keep up🤔 Side by side. The new "old" looks a lot better. -

More from the trashy EVGA GTX760. I have never seen graphics cards that can do less than 500 on the vram. Only single digit above 480 and it will crash. Yup, we talk about EVGA. https://hwbot.org/submission/5486587_papusan_3dmark___cloud_gate_geforce_gtx_760_(256bit)_45730_marks?recalculate=true -

With Intel's binning process with new unlocked Cpus released two times a year (K and then KS for increased profits and to keep up the interest) the shops will probably be fed up with loads of returns from "same people" time after time. I would circulate where I buy them if I know I will return 3 out of 4 units. But not so easy here home with less and only small retail shops and problem with chips in stocks. Best advice as always... Buy closest to release day if you want to try avoid playing the silicon lottery. Midway in the lifecycle you'll be screwed (biggest chance to lose vs Intel) because Intel need chips for the next re-hash/refresh. I'm not very happy pay (full price) for pre tested CPU's from people that throw them back to the stores after they found out they don't want them. The shops will do whatever they can to sell them as brand new. This can partly be avoided if you buy around launch day. -

Not so fast bro Fox🙂 I cheched the invoice. I paid $22 USD for the 3m black EPDM rubber tubing. And that with 25% tax included on top of the "nice" blown up Norwegian prices. If I bought same brand tubing but in clear I pay $29 USD. So more expensive. Can't beat double up or tripple. Cheaper, less maintance and it fits my black build. Yep it's matter of personal preference... But save money on top is the icing on the cake🙂 -

Nope. Me have the dual pumps running full speed 24/7 also after bleeding/filling. Air Bubbles and foam gets cleared out quite quickly and you can't hear any bubble song as many hear weeks after they filled the loop. More than one single pump also help on this process and longivity. Yup, I won't go with clear tubes. Never ever. And "all black" matters. For me. Black theme is always better than fancy colored coolant and RGB. And nothing beat EPDM rubber tubing. Use it and you'll have piece of mind. Years forwards. Be as papusan. Act as Papusan🙂 Even the best clear tubes can't be compared to EPDM rubber tubes. They aren't close. Edit. If you are scared for not being able to see any possible bubbles in the loop with use of black tubes then buy a glass tube filter. They come in different shapes and lenght. Will do the same job. Up to the people what they want or not. Me not. Me want it black🤪 -

When you all is so hunged up in AMD. Here is a new review of their most anti-consumer product in long time. This one is one of the "new" AM4 processors AMD has recently released. Binned silicon repackaged as a new product. What is the proper English definisjon of Scammy? Scam product or scam company?🤔 AMD Ryzen 7 5700 Review: A Scammy CPU? techspot.com Rather than a slightly reduced 5700X – the 5700 is actually a 5700G – but with the integrated graphics disabled. This means the 32 MB L3 cache of the 5700X has been reduced to 16 MB, a significant reduction that will impact performance. It also lacks PCI Express 4.0 support, limiting PCIe bandwidth to the 3.0 specification, another major downgrade. What We Learned So there you have it, the most anti-consumer product we've seen from AMD in some time. What do you think? -

Some even defend that "newer has to be better". Always. Or is it opposite bro @ryan ?😁 How much more FPS will you get with the newer?🙄 Yup, we can continue talk about newer has to be better. One thing for sure.... They won't get a dime from me. And I am one of those targeted that use benchmark software more than most others. Good luck. This subscription will fail. A hard crash.. Controversial benchmarking website goes behind paywall — Userbenchmark now requires a $10 monthly subscription https://www.tomshardware.com/software/controversial-benchmarking-website-goes-behind-paywall-userbenchmark-now-requires-a-pound10-monthly-subscription As far as we can tell, the benchmark itself isn’t particularly remarkable. It uses basic libraries from Windows and open-source software; if Userbenchmark is skewing performance results, as many critics claim, it’s probably done on the website rather than the testing software. The value proposition for a $10 monthly subscription doesn’t seem to make much sense, and it’s unlikely there will be many customers when there are benchmarking apps that don’t ask for a subscription, like 3DMark. Nothing wrong with the 14900K. The problem is that Intel doesn't bother bin their chips properly. All trash bin going to their flagships chips. Lower end bin quality should be used for i7 or a scaled down 14900K ---- 14850K. -
