  1. This one? SP109. But sadly no pict of MC SP. You could of course ask him.
  2. An older article. But the reality is still true. The in-house oc'ers/elite/+ their best friends will always get an huge advantage. Getting free top binned HW/HW sharing isn't their only advantage... Backdoor to everything you wish is only for the few. The choosen one's @Mr. Fox The dirty business behind the Hwbot Competitions – A field report | Editorial https://www.igorslab.de/das-schmutzige-geschaeft-hinter-den-hwbot-competitions-ein-erfahrungsbericht-als-editorial/3/ Third, and probably most importantly, the rule change opens a backdoor where each motherboard manufacturer can now provide their sponsored overclockers with a special, tweaked BIOS that does not have to be public at the time of use. Only at the end of the stage, when the best results are uploaded, does the BIOS have to be available in the forum thread. This means that all other participants who are not sponsored by motherboard manufacturers and only have access to public BIOS versions will never have the chance to use this much better BIOS for the Competition Stage. Many of us tried several times to explain this problem to the moderators, but were dismissed as overdramatic and lazy.
  3. They looks nice but follow the tech trend. Looks over performance. Or design over functionality. I'll continue with my Noctua/EK high pressure fans. Not so fancy but they are reliable, ok'ish regarding sound level and offer great performance. I don't need it to look fancy. It seems Hwbot don't like that you change mem settings with software for their Hwbot cups. Ok for the leaderboard but not for their HW cups. Here is another failure from Hw/design engineers. I would never use something stupid/ugly like this 12VHPWR adapter. Tempted to buy it bro @electrosoft?😀 Akasa Releases 12VHPWR to PCIe Power Converters Including L-Shaped Adapter Published 12 hours ago by Hilbert Hagedoorn 3 It could prevent the bend. Akasa has introduced two new products as of December 11, 2023. These include a unique L-shaped adapter and a cable type, both designed to convert a 12VHPWR connector to three PCI Express 8(6+2)pin connections. The announcement marks an expansion in Akasa's product line, focusing on power conversion solutions for graphics cards and PC builds. The first product, named "G-Nexus P24," is an adapter that transforms a 12VHPWR connector from a graphics card to a standard PCI Express 8(6+2)pin format. This adapter is distinctive for integrating three PCI Express 8(6+2)pin connections in an L-shaped design, facilitating improved cable management, especially in small cases where space around the connector is limited.

  5. If they need to fix loads of broken stuff all the time.... They should never ever have released the software in first place. Lack of QC is one of the main reasons. People/workers who do such tasks cost money. If you can't pay for it then let it be (don't release it). You can't even trust huge companies as etc Google/Alphabet. And even if you pay for their services they'll screw you. From the link I posted below.... Update December 10, 2023 9:55 a.m Although Google has now provided affected users with a “ solution ” in the form of a recovery tool, this does not seem to help every user recover their lost files. The reason for this is obvious: Google explained at the end of November that the data loss only affected local changes that had not yet been synchronized with the cloud. As a result, the data never reached Google servers. So no recovery is possible there either. The recovery tool provided by Google with version 85.0.13.0 of the Google Drive desktop client for Windows and macOS is an attempt to restore data locally from users' hard drives. However, if the associated memory areas have already been completely or partially overwritten , the tool is of no help. Affected users reacted visibly angrily in Google's support forum. In particular, those users who have paid for a paid storage expansion complain about data losses of sometimes more than a terabyte , which are now likely to remain irreversible. Google has provided instructions for using the recovery tool in a separate support article . There are also download links for the required version of the Drive for Desktop app. Cloud storage: Data loss from Google Drive will probably remain irreversible in some cases computerbase.de Why on earth offer this type services if they can't do it right? @Rage Set You can only trust yourself. Not the trash companies that offer everything, but fail to deliver. And there is many other reasons also to avoid Cloud storage from etc Google. 6. The Jedec organization prepares for the next gen thinner Jokeboks. Thinner has to be better🤮 Isn't it @ryan @Mr. Fox And with thinner chassis you can save a lot on the copper for the cooling. So, double🤮🤮 Notebooks with up to 256 GB of upgradeable RAM: CAMM2 opposes soldered RAM https://www.notebookcheck.net/Notebooks-with-up-to-256-GB-of-upgradeable-RAM-CAMM2-opposes-soldered-RAM.781889.0.html Over the past few years, however, manufacturers have increasingly used soldered RAM, which saves space and energy but means that subsequent upgrades by the user are no longer possible.
  7. How is it even possible offer such a piece of trash with so many bugs/issues? See the very long list of fixes. Almost nothing have worked properly with this software from what I can see. And be you sure. The bug list will increase and more fixes will be needed. Then fixes to fix the previous fixes. With their track records (on Microsoft level) this bloatware won't be fully fixed. 8. Please see from 1:49:04 - Windows is getting worse and worse. @Mr. Fox @Ashtrix @Rage Set+++
  9. Yup, You're spot on. This video is for our storage junkie @Rage Set I wonder what of the ssd coolers bro @Mr. Fox will go for 😇 Me... Nope. Not in hell. Here is another hot and loud failure. They are everywhere☹️ Edit. When we first talk about hot and cold. The cold weather continue here home. Have been over one month with ice cold now. 20 minus and colder. November 2023 was ranked top 4 since 1910 regarding the coldest November month here up in the North. And it won't stop. More on the way... Cold shock on the way: - North wind across the country.
  10. Yes. The Government didn't like that we could spend up to $32 USD outside Norway and without having to pay tax. Yup, it's perverse. Even more perverted when you know Norway don't lack money. They have the biggest monetary fund in the world and are one of the wealthiest countries. Our national oil foundation own 2 or 3 % of all noted stocks in the world (5.5 mill people in Norway). We invest money in all other countries (almost everything of $$$), just not in Norway and the greedy state can't even help own citizens.... Fattigdom i Norge = Poverty in Norway. This shouldn't be possible with our wealth. But sadly... We see new cases every day... People need to stand in line to ask/beg for free food and milk. Fattigdom i Norge Food assistance at charity in Norway" Fattigdomsrapport: – Helt hjerteskjærende (Poverty report: - Absolutely heartbreaking). Last year, the Food Centers received five million kroner as a "Christmas present" from the government. Despite record-breaking attendance, they have to do without extra support this year. five million Norwegian kroner = Measly 458,463 US dollars to help all the poor living in Norway. Yup, a real joke from the Norwegian government. That was last year. This Christmas.... Nothing. Not a dime for the poor. Yup. This is real in Norway. In defiance of the wealth. There is enough 4090's for sales here home. No shortage of cards but the retail shops follow the market outside Norway. So same price hike here.
  11. I wonder if there will be a few AD102 dies left for an 4080Ti cards. It seems nvidia have no problem get rid of the defective chips. And the profits is 3-6 times vs put them in an 4080Ti. Nvidia lists RTX 5880 Ada GPU, presumably a downgraded replacement for the RTX 6000 Ada in China Either way, Nvidia is preparing to release yet another AD102-based ProViz graphics board. Now it's all up to the U.S Government to stop Mr. Jensen and Nvidia from floodind the Chineeze market with loads of AD102 chips. Rather use those chips for the gamers in rest of the world. From the Norwegian Tax Administration There will now be VAT on all online shopping from abroad | The tax authority From 1 January 2024, you must also pay value added tax and any duty on purchases under NOK 350 from foreign online shops. In short.... If you buy an 1 cent screw from an online shop outside Norway and you'll need to pay 25% tax. and of course... Always 25% tax also on top of the shipping. https://kommunikasjon.ntb.no/pressemelding/18029125/na-blir-det-merverdiavgift-pa-all-netthandel-fra-utlandet?publisherId=1726411&lang=no
  12. Microsoft released a massive update for Windows 11 on Halloween this year. If the naming convention isn't apparent, 23H2 is a substantial annual update for the OS, replacing 22H2 from last year. Windows 11 23H2 Is Slowing Game Performance, but Microsoft Has a Workaround extremetech.com The issue seems to affect folks with AMD CPUs and results in degraded CPU performance. For now, the issue seems to primarily affect AMD CPUs, including both older models and newer chips, including the Ryzen 7000-series. It's unclear what the specific problem is, but it's conceivable that AMD will release a microcode update to resolve this situation soon. If you're experiencing degraded CPU performance in games or apps, apply the workaround listed above and say a silent prayer to the silicon deities. If you have an AMD CPU and have not upgraded yet, hold off until the coast is clear.
  13. You sure? Maybe Intel have paid Microsoft to screw up for AMD?😀 AMD is their own enemy but Microsoft doesn't make it easier for the consumers in the Red corner. I wonder why AMD does this to themself. Time after time AMD go into Microsofts trap. Something is wrong with the coperation between AMD and Microsoft. Could it be Intel and their deep pockets, LOOL Windows 11 23H2 Is Slowing Game Performance, but Microsoft Has a Workaround extremetech.com The issue seems to affect folks with AMD CPUs and results in degraded CPU performance. 14. Be you sure... The world is filled with people (consumers or shall we say stupids) that will jump on everything. That's also the reason Nvidia can continue screw the consumers year after year.... What to do if your new and flawed doesn't sell.... Destroy your older gen cards to try push consumers over on their new overpriced trash. Even weaker Nvidia RTX 3050 6GB reportedly to replace the 3050 8GB Yup, no more a graphics card company. Now only a greedy Unisex company that value profits over offering the best for the consumers for an ok'ish price... Nvidia is ‘no longer a graphics company’ digitaltrends.com Imagine if Nvidia could continue sell all 4090 cards to China. The mining boom is nothing compared to what to come from AI and China. A big business we have never seen before, would pop up transforming loads if not all of 4090's (grabbed from all the worlds corners Nvidia AIC partners) into AI graphics accelerators for China. None would find 4090's at normal prices anymore. All cards would go into China.
  15. +$600 above MSRP smells as the good old mining days. Nvidia seems to win the lottery time and time again. The gamers always loose. Nvidia vs gamer's 10-0 🙄 Are gamers loosers?🙄 Regarding ITX. Not what I prefer. Too much limitations. In all ways.
  16. Yup, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II is still a good AIO. Even better if you swap the fans to something more powerful. No need to buy AIOs with all the disgusting bling bling all over the places How good is cheap? Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 and 360 in the test – This standard has to be beaten igorslab A new 4080Ti won't be sold in China. A real scalpers card. Cheap enough to make proper profits when you ship it over to China. Hmmm. I wonder how high the Global price hike will be above MSRP.
  17. Yup... If they can't sell you a new license (you don't want to pay for new hardware) they will still charge you if you still clinge on your old Windows 10 machines. Great idea but this should have been for free anyway. Their "free" OS should become free also as long they will support it. And they will. My best guess... People will find ways to avoid paying the updates 🙂
  18. Yup. They fail constantly. And they trust all too much on AI and don't bother with proper QC afterwards. NEWS Windows update bug labels all printers as “HP LaserJet”
  19. 4080Ti's if it's real it should have 110 SM's. From techpowerup data page. Thats too powerful if nvidia want to sell new cards to the Chinese market (1/3 of their GPU market). Nvidia was forced to castrate the new 4090D (D for Defective - Downgrade - Disgusting) down to 100 SM's. Why would you create new xx80 GPU's that can't be sold world wide ? And why would you use defective AD102 dies that instead can go directly into the more expensive 4090D/workstation cards for the Chinese market? Hmm... Food for thoughts. Today's question.... Will bro @Mr. Fox jump on AMD products within the next couple of years?😁 The five worst AMD GPUs of all time: So bad we can't forget them Historically awful AMD GPUs. Dishonorable Mention: Radeon 8500 and Driver Woes Although Radeon drivers are definitely better today than they were back then, but as with all major chipmakers, AMD (which bought ATI in 2006) still manages to put critical bugs in its drivers from time to time. Just this year, there was a buggy driver that could corrupt your Windows installation, another that transformed Radeon 780M iGPUs into the slower 760M, and even a driver feature that got Counter Strike 2 players banned.
  20. They should alaso issues a huge fine. Minimum the same as the profits they get from the shipped chips/Gpu's. US gov fires a warning shot at Nvidia: 'We cannot let China get these chips... If you redesign a chip that enables them to do AI, I'm going to control it the very next day' Desktop GPU sales up nearly 37%, as graphics market increases 17% from last quarter: report Depends on the eye. I would have to pay +$1690 USD to get the chips shipped up here home. No in hell a mainstream Cpu is worth this type price point. Even $1200 USD is quite high for binned mainstream chips.
  21. Seen this Joke? Microsoft want the frauders/scammers money hence they let them advertice their scam on own webpage. Isn't that somewhat cute bro @Mr. Fox @Ashtrix?🤨
  22. Google reveals the next step in its war on ad blockers: slower extension updates The ad blocking arms race continues to grow........ I really hope Firefox will be an good option.... @Mr. Fox @Ashtrix+++ See also... A new opportunity for Mozilla For Mozilla , forcing Chrome extensions to use Manifest V3 in the future could prove to be an advantage. Its web browser Firefox had gradually lost market share to the Google browser after its best times around 2009 and now has an opportunity to reverse this trend.
  23. Yup. As expected. What a beauty. That 16-pin connector is really bad and you have to pay shipping a second time if you'll continue support CM. I'm pretty sure the owner of Northfix repair often dreams of Cablemod products. Cablemod = Please continue make me rich😆 @Mr. Fox @tps3443 What type of Glycol is it in the Automotive anti freeze coolant you use ?
  24. REPORT LINUX GAMING Which distribution runs Windows games best? Thanks to Valve, playing Windows games on Linux is more practical than ever before. Three distributions with a gaming focus in the test. @Mr. Fox
