  1. Disgusting! But people will buy it. Because it's a Lian Li product. And the new modern tech trend continue... There is no limits for awful. Corsair lets you bling out keyboards, mice, and desk mats The Corsair Custom Lab has some trendy paint jobs, but its selection is a bit lacking at the moment.
  2. And TSMC want more $$$ from the AI hype. - Will show the Nvidia boss what we are worth TSMC's strongman has complained to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and wants better pay. With a 78 percent gross margin, it should at least be enough to take off. PS. The forum is now almost useless to use. So slow and laggy that this can't be used. Never seen it this slow @Reciever A glimpse into next gen Intel....
  3. LOOL Now it seems AMD also has accepted the tiny 12+4 trash connector. So they trust it for workstation cards but not for their gamer cards. Hmmm, amusing 😆 in short… Don’t let the gamerkids play with the fire, HaHa ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX & 7900 XT Workstation GPUs Adopt 12V-2×6 Connector & 2-Slot Design For AI Setups
  4. Both have 32 threads🙃 Next generation Intel will most likely have fewer threads than AMDs best chips. 24 vs 32 threads. Common math should say less will offer less and not more. If less beats more then it's a failure for the new thread king🙂 Time will tell if less is more bro @ryan
  5. Google set to phase out Manifest V2 in a few days, breaking many ad blockers THE YEAR OF FIREFOX: Google initially announced the Manifest V3 API in 2018, but the new extension technology was delayed several times because of the intrinsic limitations it imposed on ad blockers and security add-ons. Now that it is ready for release, Mountain View will begin phasing out Manifest V2 extensions in Chrome next month.
  6. LOOL NVIDIA RTX 5080 rumor sparks fears that this GPU could be disappointing - but don't panic yet Darren Allan | Video Cards & GPUs | Jun 3, 2024 2:19 PM CDT NVIDIA's next-gen Blackwell gaming GPUs are keenly anticipated, of course, and while Computex 2024 didn't give us any of the details on RTX 5000 that we wanted, a leaker has stepped into the breach with some fresh nuggets of rumors.
  7. Nope. Just added the promised IPC increase on top of Zen 4 to find what score you should expect from the new 16 core Ryzen flagship chips. 44.500 in CBR-23 from the brand new Ryzen flagship is far below what I get with an oc with my "old" intel chips. And that's not much to be excited about. Newer gen should mean much better. Regardless if it comes from the Red or the blue camp. Half-baked isn't good enough.
  8. AI optimized cold plate. What's next? This is getting ridiculous. Or out of hands. Asetek debuts revolutionary AI-optimized ECAM cold plate — constructed using high-resolution 3D metal printing in collaboration with Fabric8Labs This will be more and more ugly. Now it's time start cripple desktops GPU's in same way as Nvidia and OEMs did for Jokebooks. People remember Max-Q ? Wouldn't it be nice wikth similar for desktops? Castrate power and performance to be able to use the graphics card in thin, light and slimy. Nvidia Launches SFF-Ready Certification for GPUs and Compact Computer Cases Published Yesterday by Hilbert Hagedoorn 5 Nvidia has introduced the SFF-Ready certification program, aimed at standardizing the compatibility of graphics processing units (GPUs) with small form factor (SFF) computer cases, particularly mini-ITX housings. The initiative provides clear guidelines for the maximum dimensions of video cards and the minimum internal space requirements for compatible computer cases, facilitating the selection process for users seeking to assemble or upgrade compact PCs. Under this new program, GPUs eligible for the SFF-Ready label must adhere to specific size restrictions. They can be no longer than 304mm, no higher than 151mm, and must not exceed a thickness of 2.5 slots. Correspondingly, SFF housings are required to accommodate at least these dimensions, with a minimum length of 312mm, a height of 154.5mm, and a slot thickness accommodating up to 2.5 slots. This standardization effort by Nvidia aims to simplify the hardware selection process for enthusiasts and professionals looking to build or upgrade to a compact system without compromising on the performance capabilities often associated with larger, more traditional PC builds. Several leading hardware manufacturers are participating in Nvidia’s SFF-Ready program.
  9. Security researchers warn of Microsoft Recall Graphics card today 17:00 A month ago, Kevin Beaumont heaped praise on Microsoft's new security thinking, now he calls Recall the biggest security blunder in a decade.
  10. The usual from Redmond HQ. Remember they have some of the best software engineers in the wold. And it shows🤢 Is your taskbar suddenly crashing? Blame the latest Windows update Windows update KB5037853 rolled out helpful new features – and broke the taskbar for some people. A fix will now be sent out to affected users. 12. Spot on on most bro @Talon🤠 If what I have seen is correct.... The 4nm node AMD use for Zen 5 is just an refined 5nm from TSMC. Cost cutting from AMD or they (TSMC) can't offer better for high performance right now. But will you see Ryzens with more than sixteen cores? It doesn't sound that likely, CEO Lisa Su says.
  13. Hmmm. Intel can't do much wrong with next gen to try compete with this new and shiny tools from AMD. For me this looks very boring😔 Not so sure bro @Mr. Fox see it any differently than me.
  14. As long people read and follow the wrong advices, not much will change. Not much to gain paying over double the price.
  15. Asus want more but offer less. Is less always more bro @ryan🤔
  16. Hmmm. Nice results. Nice music. You hit my nerve @Prema😊 What a drum. Nice see you back you old man🥰 This is disgusting. The enigineer of this mess should be fired.
  17. We know there is a fix. But +95% of the users don't know that they are at the risk getting halfbroken cards back when they try grab points on Hwbot with 4090. There will always be new newbies coming to hwbot. And I know there is people having problems with weird crashes after their cards is filled up with vram errors. Oh'well. Happy those that get free binned hardware. And all problems just follow samepath as the tech trend. And it willbe worse. Much worse. Google admits flaws in AI Overview Google will limit the type of information that AI Overview can generate. And here you can see AMD really show it's ugly face... Want oc'ing. Buy better board. Changes are also coming to the mid-range segment. The B650E and B650 chipsets will be replaced by the B850 and B840, respectively. This marks the introduction of the X40 class in the AMD portfolio, using a different chipset (Prom19) compared to the higher-tier boards. The main difference between the B850 and B840 is that the B840 will not support CPU overclocking. See @ryanNew has to be better. Replaced = Newer. https://videocardz.com/newz/gigabyte-confirms-new-b840-chipset-no-cpu-oc-support-and-no-pcie-gen5 Edit. The forum is still awful slow and laggy. Almost useless try to posting.
  18. Confirmed. All 4000 series graphics cards offer corrupted results if you push your vram. But only the 4090 flagship get the special treatment from Hwbot.... Most likely because this card provide highest global scores and offer ECC settings Enabled in NCP that offer people corrupted cards. Nice. https://www.overclock.net/posts/29334556/
  19. $2500 ? Nope. That has to be for the 5090 refresh with the Super or Ti moniker. And measly +$3000 price point will be for an possible 5090 Ti Super variant at the end of 5000 series life cycle. Remember Nvidia was so kind add the very long weirdo name 4070 Ti Super for the 3rd SKU of the 4070 series (4070-4070Ti-4070Ti Super). Could as well be the destiny for 5090. Disgusting? Yes. What more to say....... And here comes Todays Joke.... Fantastic new and modern. New modern gaming Jokebooks is able to sustain 275W combined load/heat for Gpu and Cpu. In the older days you had gaming laptops that easily handled 2x200W GPU sustained load + separate power for the Cpu. or above 500W. Sad seeing this is what they call improved cooling. XMG Launches XMG NEO 16 High-End Laptop with Improved Cooling, and Aluminium Chassis
  20. Even if there is less corrupted results from the other 4000 series cards as etc 4080... You can't force limitations (own rules and special restictions) for 4090 if they all suffer from same mess from UL/Futuremark. ECC settings only for 4090 in NCP isn't a valid reason to diffrenciate them.
  21. This one I posted on OCN will be fun to follow. If you are in risk for 4080 vram corrupted benchmarks results and you can't "Enable ECC" in NCP for said graphics card, then why do you need have to do it for 4090 on hwbot? Because the elite/choosen ones for the most part get free binned 4090's to maximice their Global points? They shouldn't differentiate between 4000 series cards if they all suffer from same vram corruption. Aka no need to Enable ECC video memory settings in NCP for 4090. Just moderate results as they should do for rest of the 4000 series graphics SKUs. My post here. The Steel Nomad mess is discussed in the 4080 forum. https://www.overclock.net/threads/official-nvidia-rtx-4080-super-owners-club.1800848/post-29334454 Edit. Just report them... Yeees, sure it will works. And UL/Futuremark said exactly the same for eGPU results flooding the different 3DM leaderboards for Jokebook's. And the outcome... Every 3DM benchmark leaderboard on 3Dmark search is destroyed with the said eGPU results. And why will it be better now when they never cleaned up for gaming Jokebooks? Hmmm
  22. Here's the thing. New is always better. See bolded text above. This isnt a step sideway. Its a regression to the worse. But people buy it, so I think they are fine with the new situasjon (newer hardware). Less has to be more bro @ryan For gaming purposes, however, the NPU brings nothing to the table to improve the experience as of 2024. If anything, it's arguably detrimental as raw CPU performance has dropped when compared to the Core i9-13900HK in last year's x16 R1 since precious die space has been reserved for the new neural processor. Alienware x16 R2 laptop review: A step sideways from the x16 R1 Modern people......
  23. Yep. I didn't expect another answer on my question. In short... He said people wasn't smart enough to understand the score ranking and or the benchmarks. And now you clearly can understand why the modern tech has become as it is. See bolded text in your reply/quote. And the bottom of my reply here. Would be better if the users spent less money... This would force the tech industry to change to the better. See the whole video. Just rumors but it fits very well with the rumored info above.... Why max out the performance if the competitors doesn't want to compete? Capped down GPU in all ways doesn't need huge coolers. Here's more disgusting new modern tech.... Spacetop
  24. @Mr. Fox The cat has come out from the bag. I got answer on my legit question about why not go back to the roots. Directly from UL/Futuremark's representative. The whole reason UL/Futuremark have changed goal and how they make and design new modern 3DM benchmarks is because of stupid PC users. The sad truth.... Stupid PC users is the main reason we have got toy-like benchmark software from UI that can't or don't show how your pc doing in workflow and in games as for etc 3D benchmarks. Didn't understand = Stupid. Isnt that correct explained bro @ryan?🤔 Now you all can see why 3DM Steel Nomad never ever will be a real 3DM Time Spy replacement. It was too complicated to understand by the (average) modern computer user/gamers. The 3DMark Time Spy benchmark produces a 3DMark Time Spy score, a Graphics test sub-score, and a CPU test sub-score. The scores are rounded to the nearest integer. The better a system's performance, the higher the score. Is it very complicated bro @ryan? Do you need a master of science to understand this very "complicated" metrics? Or is dumb the new normal? Me who thought the world was going forwards and that people become smarter due more helpful tools and more help on the internet. When >I was a kid.... I only had books.... Maybe young people should go back to books and start use pc's and internet less? You can ask yourself.... What will AI do for tomorrows computer users/gamers or ordinary people? Make them dumber than ever? @Rage Set
