  1. @ryan isn't it cute? You spend an arm and a leg on a new gaming Jokebook and now has to expect more appealing ads in your expensive AAA games you paid a lot cash to play. Yees, gaming will be much more tempting in the future. Ads in the OS and ads in games. + ads in software and drivers. Ads everywhere. When will we see real time ads created with AI in bios settings menu? And how shall this go bro @Mr. Fox when the gamer kids has to ask mama what to do in bios to get more frames so you faster reach next level of ads?🤔 And is there no profits into creating and sell AAA gamer titles nowadays? If they don't earn money on their expensive games.... Maybe start with something else? As etc create ads with AI for other companies for use on the internet or in the coming OS for Microsoft? Why pester expensive games people have paid a lot for? Hmmm. The modern tech trend continue roll. You can get sick from less than this. Steam Deck update brings BIOS overclocking and improved graphics driver to SteamOS EA is looking at putting in-game ads in AAA games — 'We'll be very thoughtful as we move into that,' says CEO "Advertising has an opportunity to be a meaningful driver of growth for us." 2. Thats great. Well done 🙂 But are you able to disable 3 of the E-cores in bios for running 3DM Fire Strike? If you can then you can boost Physics score as well the total score. Also try with Win 10. Did you run with 8 P-cores for FS? That will certainly boost your graphics score but total score will sink. Or it could be the damn hybrid power mess implemented in laptops. Here yo see my bench with older 1070. See the physics score with 29 threads...
  3. The users is their own enemy..... Nothing shock me anymore in tech world Should I use thermal paste between the die and the IHS after delidding ?
  4. One of the reasons you get different stability and that some bios versions is worse than others. The OEM play god with AC/DC loadline. Some users run into problems while others don't have problems at all with their processors. Of course some run into stability problems if they try use other user settings (or try random AC/DC values themself) or have an CPU that don't like undervolt so much. See also my bolded text in my reply above. When shall people start understand that Cpu's with exactly same V/F curve etc will work differently? Hmmm. A lot of the problems we have seen is user introduced. You can't blame all the problems on Intel/MB manufacturers if you don't know what you are doing in bios. See from 18:30 or the whole video.
  5. Dell hack: Personal info of 49 million customers allegedly breached Dell is warning potentially millions of customers that sensitive information including details of purchases and support calls the last decade are being trafficked on the Dark Web. Dell warns of data breach, 49 million customers allegedly affected Dell is warning customers of a data breach after a threat actor claimed to have stolen information for approximately 49 million customers. Dell Technologies take your privacy and personal information seriously. If they did, then why the need for pushing out this message? LOOL Dell doesn’t believe that there is “significant risk”. Of course they say so. Even stupids can see the truth in between the lines of the liars statement. And can you be sure DELL tell the whole truth? Nope. Much more info about their customers privacy can have been hacked.
  6. Yup he tried confuse us😃 But see.... best score out of like 40 000 submissions for 4080. im happy enough..this is not a benchmarking laptop. 100c yikes but we all knew this with these gamer girl laptops.(papusan). Not a benchmarking laptop(these gamer girl laptops. papusan)... Because it run 100C😀 And who'm would castrate his 4080 card down to 175w ? Sure there are some that are willing to do that... But why buy 4080 cards then? Both baby girl laptops or 4080 desktop cards capped at 175w is awful.
  7. Probably Acer (Predator) from what I see from the motherboard SKU. Aka Gaming Jokebook https://www.3dmark.com/fs/31774095 Still congrats bro @ryan🙂 Disable 3 of the E-cores for 3DM Fire Strike benchmarks. But keep all cores for Sky Diver, TS and TSE. Disable all baby-cores for 3DMark11. Yup, the hybrid core mess from Intel ain't fun and happy benching🙂 NVIDIA’s AIB Partner, Manli, Rejects RMA Request For “Melted” GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, Says Its “User Error” At Quasarzone's Forum, an individual reports that he bought a Manli GeForce RTX 4090 that came 12VHPWR GPU connector, and he was told to use the GPU with included connectors or else warranty services wouldn't be entertained. Does that mean you shouldn't or can't use the 12VHPWR cables that follow the different PSU manufacturers power supplies? If so.... Is the new ATX 3.0 + PCI-SIG’s PCIe Gen 5 standard useless? Because you aren't alowed to use their PCIe Gen 5 graphics cables.
  8. Linux will still be more and more valuable option for the AMD fans.... They will be forced to use Windows 11. Maybe you can find some mod drivers but as we know.... AMD isn't good at making drivers and software for their hardware. And chipset drivers is from what I know important for AMD hardware to work correctly. Doomed? More crap. But from AMD this time. They licking Microsofts asssses. What's the problem offer Windows 10 drivers? This older OS is still not EOL when Zen 5 is out. Disgusting!!! https://wccftech.com/amd-zen-5-cpus-10-percent-ipc-increase-more-in-cinebench-r23-single-thread-test/
  9. More crap. But from AMD this time. They licking Microsofts asssses. What's the problem offer Windows 10 drivers? This older OS is still not EOL when Zen 5 is out from AMD. Forced to use an inferior OS is just awful. Disgusting!!! https://wccftech.com/amd-zen-5-cpus-10-percent-ipc-increase-more-in-cinebench-r23-single-thread-test/

  11. Apple claims its M4 chip's AI will obliterate PCs. Nah, not really Apple launched its Apple M4 processor on Tuesday inside of the new iPad Pro, claiming that it can outperform a PC in AI. If true, it will only be for just a few weeks. Then you have this.... Alleged Apple M4 Geekbench scores show incremental improvement in machine learning over last gen I expect many that experience crashes use lower binned parts and not good enough cooling. We both know there is a major difference in bin quality for boards, Cpu's and mem sticks. Pair it with no clue how to use bios settings and you'll experience disaster. This is also main reason for some people experience problems with so called default settings with Intel's recommended power and Amp, + voltage bios settings. If the Cpu crash instead for throttling down speed and voltage (same as for cpu's in Jokebooks start throttle at 100C works time after time), the cooling ain't good enough or they really lost in the silicon lottery. Or got defective parts that need to be RMA'd. You have also those that play with AC/DC loadline paired with massive undervolt to try keep their Cpu's to run below 100C because of cheapo colling. As well awful bad implemented AI overclocking features. Yup, many roads lead to Rome Crashes
  12. No, Intel isn't recommending baseline power profiles to fix crashing CPUs Intel says that reports saying that it is recommending a "baseline" power profile to solve instability issues in its 13th- and 14th-gen Core CPUs aren't true. Intel has denied a report saying that it’s asking its motherboard partners to implement lower, “baseline” power profiles to solve instability issues and potentially Nerf performance in its 13th- and 14th-gen Core processors.. Instead, it’s the opposite: “Intel is not recommending motherboard manufacturers to use ‘baseline’ power delivery settings on boards capable of higher values,” an Intel spokesman said in an email. Intel issues official statement on Core K-series crashes: stick to Intel's official power profiles tomshardware.com| Today May 8, 2024
  13. Thanks. Happy I could get such money back. Yep better but not fantastic. The KS is SP105. But I can bench up to 6.5GHz depending on the benchmarks so not bad. Mind you I could get more out of it with direct die and delidding. But I won't spend more money on this platform. I rather hope I can get most of my money back in the used market if not Arrrow lake is a flop as it looks like. The damn AI hype is destroying the tech furture.
  14. It seems my 14900K will be gone tomorrow on the used market 🙂 I have reserved the cpu to the buyer today. The asking price was 6000. But we meet at 5500 NOK ($504 USD). The nice thing with the main used market here is we don't have to pay any fees. https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=144425092
  15. See for yourself... This is even worse than what Dell Alienware offer for their desktops with 14th gen Cpus. 120 mm AIOs in 2024 is perverse. Creative achievement Corsair has slightly slowed down the Core i9-14900K in the One i500 compared to the specifications of PL1 = PL2 = 253 watts communicated by Intel to date. The decision was made independently of the recent discussion about Intel's 13th and 14th generation K CPUs - most likely with a view to the 120 mm AiO water cooling that the system offers for the processor.
  16. Prebuilt computer system you should avoid. This is just awful. Corsair upgraded RGB control over offering adequate cooling for the GPU's power delivery. Yup, also this one follow the new modern tech trend. Disgusting. And with a price of 5,499.99 euros this is closest you can come perverse. For the records.... 5,499.99 euros is $5,920 USD Corsair One (i500) in the test: Wooden reboot with hot 4090 and restrained 14900K computerbase.com Regression in graphics card VRM cooling Unlike the i300, Corsair no longer cools the VRM (voltage converter) of the graphics card, which has been deprived of its air cooler, in the i500 using its own active cooler - the manufacturer has not even installed passive heat sinks. RGB lighting with touch controls The RGB lighting of the Corsair One has also been upgraded: In addition to the two decorative strips on the front of the case, the new One has “underbody lighting”. There are also white LEDs as a “reading lamp” on the back to illuminate the I/O panel.
  17. What a tradeoff. Corsair upgraded RGB control over offering adequate cooling for the GPU's power delivery. Yup, also this one follow the new modern tech trend. Disgusting. And with a price of 5,499.99 euros this is closest you can come perverse. 18. Todays tech looks more and more like a tragic drama.... This below is taken from the link I posted to @Talon Those that bought the $50 cheaper versions won't get any love from MSI due their greedy and disgusting tactics. All hardware should come with an opportunity to upgrade firmware to fix own trashy engineering/cheapo solutions. The change-log follows. FW.010 Firmware update information DSC switch added to the OSD to enable DLDSR and DSR modes. MPG 271QRX QD-OLED: Added HDMI PC/Console switch in the OSD. (MPG 271QRX QD-OLED default setting is "Console" mode.) Support for a variety of aspect ratios, MPG 321URX QD-OLED allows selection between a 24.5" and 27" option, MPG 271QRX QD-OLED allows 24.5". Fixed Color Gamut clamping while HDR is enabled. HDR mode will now store separate present mode settings. Optimized multiple language issues. Fixed image flicker issue when VRR is enabled. Added "Power LED" switch in the OSD to allows users to turn it off. Input lag and latency optimization. Fixed problem with white line during 2560x1440 @ 360 Hz. (MPG 271QRX QD-OLED only). Fixed displayed abnormal (dark screen) after VRR switched. Optimize a behavior of panel protect while protect completed that depends as executing power states. League of Legends receives controversial Vanguard anti-cheat, Windows 11 now requires TPM 2.0 Riot denies reports of bricked PCs and clarifies its anti-cheat strategy... Intel reportedly demands all board partners implement Intel Default (Baseline) Profile by May 31 — company hopes to fix issues with "some" Core i9 chips Hmmm. People seems to forget that Intel will offer much higher OC headroom now for their audience😆 From 5.1Ghz and up to 6.0Ghz is more like wopping 17% oc head room. Many years since we saw Intel offered this much. Also genious cripple the performance for the KS so next gen looks prettier on paper. All this drama because they went idiotic in the binning game. See yourself... "Some" Core i9 chips. That mean Intel had to destroy for the waste majority of gamer boys and girls that don't overclock their hardware. They often go after highest possible clock-speed witthout have to overclock. At least you get above 5.0GHz out of the box from Intel now. The 6.2GHZ boost will turn into 5.1Ghz tragedy if they will implement settings as rumored. Not a problem for oc'ers but those are in minority. The majority of gamer kids will get castrated processors. Intel want to set up a basic profile with a PL1 at 125W, a PL2 at 188W and an Iccmax at 249A. Clearly, if this is done as suggested, Intel will slash the performance down the drain for their processors. This is worse than expected. Much worse. This means Intel know very well there is some trash binned Core i9 out there. And RMA and sinking reputation cost money. Exactly. MSI Releases MPG 271QRX and MPG 321URX QD-OLED Firmware Update, Gives DSC Control
  19. What you see is the tech trend rolling forwards. Here's the new low but from Intel. They all (tech companies) offer new lows in a pace you never have seen before.
  20. Intel plays with the name and the data: The “Intel Baseline Profile” becomes “Intel Default Settings” Intel don't want that you can use their 6.0Ghz two cores gamer-boy profile anymore. And expect the same for the 6.2Ghz bragging factor for their KS scam. What else do we know? Iccmax and Iccmax.app are at least still set to 400A and 320A in the Extreme Profile. However, after applying the Intel Baseline profile, the time in which, for example, Intel Thermal Velocity Boost can reach 6 GHz on the Intel Core i9-14900K drops to less than 3 s. This means that the Turbo Boost of the Intel Core i9-14900K is on So it ends up being just a kind of gimmick, useless in practice and just for marketing. The Intel Baseline Profile for the 13th and 14th processors de facto puts the K series on the same level as the non-K series and the motherboards of all levels are practically put on the same level because of these extreme performance data are no longer needed. Intel Baseline Profile cannot solve the problem of 13th and 14th Gen processors, but instead creates greater trouble for motherboard manufacturers and consumers. Problems with Intel 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors on the Raptor Lake-S and Raptor Lake-S Refresh platforms are becoming more and more troublesome. At this stage, we only feel that Intel has left all the problems to the motherboard. The factory never suspected that the problem was with its own processor. As Taiwanese people say, Intel Baseline Profile makes Intel Core i9-14900K a three-second hero! Yup, the two cores max boost with all too much voltage (trash binned by Intel) is an three-second hero Joke. It will be so when you use trash bin quality for your flagship products. Nice end with socket 1700.
  21. You of all....Know you aren't worthy Intel's best silicon. You are the average BÒY!!! And you aren't reviewer... You have got what we offer gamer-boysssssssssssssss. See you as gamert boy.... so 6.2GHz... More you want?
  22. For those that have Windows Home Editions. Don't let Microsoft harvest all info about you... I prefer Pro versions but this is better than Windows vanilla Home cancer edition. Very disgistig what Microsoft want of info from you. Can't see Eu comission is happy wit this This has to change. First.... U.S need to change their rules!!!!!!!!!!. >
  23. If this info is correct.... Also Intel's mobile processors in jokebooks offer only problems. The bigger they are the harder they fall. And as usual... It's their own faults.
  24. AMD finally patches gaping Zenbleed security hole — MSI releases AGESA 1.2.0.Ca BIOS update for Zen 2 AMD did not state if this new security update impacts performance. When we tested Zenbleed fixes previously, we found that while gaming was unaffected, other performance could drop as much as 15%.
  25. First.... Intel use lower bin quality now for the older 13th gen because they launched 14th gen. And 14th gen K SKU's get worse silicon because Intel pick up those average K sku's for their new disaster dubbed KS (Special Edition) with pumped up voltage to reach 6.2GHz on two cores for the gamer-kids bragging needs. This will also help Intel to recup higher profits. Where is the quality control? Down the drain? Tester Reveals Only 5 out of 10 Core i9-13900K & 2 out of 10 Core i9-14900K CPUs Stable In Auto Profile, Intel & Board Partners Yet To Determine Cause of Stability Issues The tester is the owner of a studio that buys several CPUs for their own needs. In invoices shared by the tester, it is revealed that he has bought and tested at least 100s of Intel Core i9-13900K and Core i9-14900K CPUs and it looks like almost all of the chips he acquired had some sort of issue in terms of stability. Motherboards used by the studio include ASUS's Z790, B760, Z690 and B660 boards. Intel Core i9-13900K "AUTO -253W" - 40/50% (4/5 out of 10 units stable) Intel Core i9-13900K "Reduced Loadline" - 50-60% (5/6 out of 10 units stable) Intel Core i9-13900K "B760/B660 Board" - 60-70% (6/7 out of 10 units stable) Intel Core i9-14900K "AUTO - 253W" - 20% (2 out of 10 units stable) Intel Core i9-14900K "Reduced Loadline" - ~30% (3 out of 10 units stable) Intel Core i9-14900K "B760/B660 Board" - 40% (4 out of 10 units stable) So the out-of-the-box experience on an Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPUs is bad. It is reported that the chips might work fine for a week or a little over a month but usually end up producing stability issues. News Sources: HKEPC, HXL I stand with my older standpoint... Trash binned i9-xx900K skus should be downbinned to xx850(K/KF) and all other ok'ish xx900K should be labeled 13th gen 13900K. The 13th and 14th gen KS should never have seen the light. Same also for 14th gen K/KF i9 chips. All too many flagship skus from Intel compete for same silicon quality. There is simple not enough good silicon to push out so many different i9 processors. Intel have run into the greed trap. Or failed hard in their AI binning process. They need to rethink their strategy for the 15th generation and beyond. Because this is not good enough.
