I'm not sure why bro @Mr. Fox was so damn negative to the refreshed 4090's. They will perform better than the even more castrated 4080's. Better than nothing... Huuuu Leaker says Nvidia's RTX 4090D to use AD102-250 GPU to comply with US export regulations The RTX 4090 carries the AD102-300/AD102-301 GPU. The RTX 4090D looks set to be based on a significantly cut-down AD102-250 processor. At this point it's hard to say how the GeForce RTX 4090Dragonisgusting will stack up against possible GeForce RTX 4080 Ti or GeForce RTX 4080 Super products, but it will likely sit higher up the GPU benchmarks hierarchy. It will also likely cost quite a bit more that a 4080 refresh. This is die hards or shall we say hardcore😄 But sad I couldn't see it in «all black». Only pastel puke show. But some stupids destroy the all black look. Can't be more stupid than that outside jumping on the new 4090D graphics cards. Not sure whats worse, HaHa Btw. Microsoft try to please the performance PC enhusiasts... Yup, the latest Insider build from the Redmond suckers includes a mode that sacrifices performance for energy savings. Windows 11's new energy saver mode in Insider builds limits background activities to increase battery life tomshardware.com Starting with this build (Build 26002), we are introducing energy saver, which extends and enhances battery saver. It is an easy way to extend battery life and reduce energy use by trading off some system performance. It can be toggled on and off via Quick Settings in the system tray or configured to run automatically whenever the device reaches a certain battery percentage. While optimized to extend battery life, energy saver will be available when PCs are plugged in (this includes desktop PCs) for those aiming to conserve energy all the time. Dang. Maybe you knew that Nvidia want same awful MSRP for this castrated 4090 card as for the real 4090's ? What if they shaved of 200$? More tempting? Let's..... Puke dance together😀 NVIDIA Cooks Up The GeForce RTX 4090 D GPU, Brings Flagship Gaming Back To China With Full US Compliancy In terms of availability, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 D will be offered by AIC partners in China in the same way as the GeForce RTX 4090. Boxes and packages will clearly mention the new "D" label and prices are said to be similar to the GeForce RTX 4090 Non-D GPUs which retail at an MSRP of $1599 US or 12,999 RMB in China. The good thing is that NVIDIA's flagship gaming GPU is coming back to China which is great for gamers. And here you can see bro @electrosoft Nvidia may re-use rest of their defective AD102 die's for overpriced castrated AI server-chips for China. So it looks damn dark if people still hope for a 4080Ti in 2025. None can beat Mr. Jensen regarding how to max out every drop of profits. Maybe Jensen will be the next Apple CEO ? He would fits this awful rotten company very well. In addition to the RTX 4090 D, NVIDIA is also prepping several other AI-specific GPUs for China which are expected to launch in early 2024 so stay tuned for more information on those Btw. @electrosoftas you can see... AMD cancer everywhere. Here paired with the utter cancer from Dell Alienware. Yup, why spend more time with AMD? Do as bro @Mr. Fox Make a short process. Same as I did with AW. Say Goodbye and never look back! Not worthy your time and or money. Alienware M18 issues can be resolved by using older RX 7900M GPU drivers, despite software recommending updates Hope you enjoy my content bro @ryan😊 -

Hmmm. Why not scrap the idea with 4080Ti's and rather use the defective AD102 dies for a new cut down 4090's for China? Would you want an real castrated 4090 fr4om Nvidia bro @Mr. Fox?😬 Maybe a couple of hundred USD cheaper than the real deal. Yup.... Nvidia still needs the gamers bro @electrosoft Nvidia hunt up and down how to maximixe profits. The rumored GPU's specifications are unknown, but due to the US export guidelines, the RTX 4090 D will need to be less powerful than its outgoing counterpart. As a result, we will likely see the 4090 D coming with a lower TDP and a lower SM/core count to separate itself from the RTX 4090. Nvidia reportedly creating new RTX 4090 D 'Dragon' GPU for China -

For the Storage Jockey😀 Yup, with your addiction I know you would never ever put all the eggs in the cloud. Disgusting? Google (Alphabet) have spent all too much time, work and money on "how to get rid of ad blockers" than be sure their backup servers/software works as expected. Once again... Don't trust big corps/and their cloud backup services. Google Drive files go missing for desktop users https://www.pcworld.com/article/2156644/google-drive-files-go-missing-for-desktop-users.html A reply from a Google employee says that the company is aware of the issue and working on it, stating that it’s affecting a “limited subset of Drive for desktop users.” Google says that in the meantime you shouldn’t delete any of your local files or disconnect your account from within the Drive app. Oh, and you should probably back up those files somewhere else — you know, that thing you’re paying Google to do for you. If you’re relying on Google Drive for any important files, you might want to take a look and perhaps consider an alternative service. Here's more disgusting reading... Yup, with the amount fully working AD102 chips they throw out I expect there will be quite amount defective die's that can't be used for 4090's. What's better than use those for $1299 or even worse $1399 USD 4080Ti's. -

Quite a few people being very upset when they see prices deviates a lot from the MSRP. Some people can't understand that there is the different countries VAT greed system that makes the prices look worse than what they really are. You often need to substract the VAT to compare prices other have to pay in other countries with much lower taxes/none taxes. But yup, VAT greed and disgusting price policy from Nvidia make it hard for a lot people. And not only for those that buy the high end. Mid end an low end cards is also awful priced with the dreaded tax (the cherry on top). -

I expect you mean with tax. 2023 VAT Rates in Europe - Tax Foundation With MSRP it means without any taxes (VAT). There is still a few different 4090's available here home. Here's 3 samples of 4090's you can buy here. Without our lovely 25% Norwegian Tax beauty. AKA the cards real MSRP. Then add your contries prefered tax hell on top to get the real prices you have to pay. But in short... Inflated prices due nvidia prefer feeding China and their partners with 4090's for server purpose to pump up max profits. GeForce RTX 4090 24GB TUF Gaming OG OC - $1755.00 USD MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X - $1,997.35 USD MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X Liquid slightly cheaper than the air cooled card for one or another weird reason. ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC - $2060 Etc.... The more expensive ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC will cost me $2575 USD included 25% VAT. A more dried up market here home now but you can get hold on 4090's if you are willing to pay $300 more than what you had 2-3 months ago. 300$ price hike means +10% price increase for 4090's the last couple of months. -

Cablemod reps try hard on fire fighting. Yup, very keen replying on my posts. But the CM reps/mods can't ban me in the Nvidia reddit forum as they did in the CM forum (the outcome if they don't like what you post). So no reason for doing that otherplaces. But truth hurts. Always🙃 Ban you in your own sub forum won't stop people from posting the facts. Or to warn people. -

GTX1070 https://hwbot.org/submission/5410688_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_geforce_gtx_1070_8119_marks?recalculate=true Edit. When will the shops/factories start buy up/suck up all used 3090's (3090Ti's ) they can find? Chinese factories repurpose RTX 3090 GPUs into AI accelerators Recently, Chinese factories have been stripping down now-banned GeForce RTX 4090s into AI accelerators. Now, previous generation RTX 3090 cards are also on the chopping block. Just as GPUs were the hottest commodity during the crypto boom, high-end Nvidia GPUs fast AI hardware and lots of memory have become the ideal choice for AI workloads, even as the U.S. tightens exports to China. Since the RTX 3090 is also on the long list of GPUs that the US Government has banned from being exported to China, this move makes sense but does reek of desperation (or perhaps resourcefulness) on the part of the factories stripping down GPUs for this purpose. -

And it will never stop😆 Windows 11 November 2023 Update fixes AMD profile reset bug windowslatest.com The November 2023 Update is a disaster for some. While the Windows 11 AMD profile bug is now patched, KB5032190 has its share of issues, including a bug that causes systems to get stuck in a boot loop. In some cases, your device might fail to apply the update during installation and keep failing again in a rebooting loop.

Yup, and nvidia know it very well. In same way as they helped the miners with cards under the mining boom.... They do everything to maximize profits and make shortage for the gamers (the ultimate way to pump up the ASP and inflating prices). Disgusting. You remember the accident where Nvidia slipped the developer driver that circumvented the Mining limiter for later refresh of 3000 series cards? That wasn't an accident. It was done with intent/purpose. -

The RX 7900 XT/X also banned from China! overclocking.com https://overclocking.com/les-rx-7900-xt-x-egalement-bannies-de-chine/ Nvidia made this possible. And they know this would lead to new ways to use 4090's... And they also know this would lead to massive shortage of 4090's to the gamers. Nvidia's greed and hunger for max profits is awful. U.S Government should have issued an massive fine to Nvidia. In billiards. Be you sure.... Nvidia know what would happens with all the AD102 chips they flooded to China. And they know most of the cards would never ever end to the gamers... Chinese Factories Dismantling Thousands of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 “Gaming” GPUs & Turning Them Into “AI” Solutions With Blower-Style Coolers I hope the U.S government never forget this and STOP any ask for license under the "NEC" eligibility rule to Nvidia. They deserve nothing. Only the mentioned fine. In billions value. -

Jup. Nvidia earn money as grass because they are greedy bastards that grabbed almost all AD102 for themself for workstations and server-cards. Where is AMD when we really need them? All they do is try to milk on low/mid end. GeForce RTX 4090 hits $2,000/€2,000 average price NVIDIA Crushes Earnings On Monster AI Chip Demand And Big Gains In Gaming NVIDIA has found its golden goose in AI chip design, which contributed heavily to another massive spike in revenue during the company's third quarter of fiscal 2024—it tripled year-over-year to $18.12 billion. Not much we can do if everything you find is pure trash. And we are closer and closer for each new day. Yet another failure. Use one of the best MB and pick the wrong Radeon 7900 XTX, then you'll have to use one of the PCIe 8 pin pigtail connectors. Going with 5x 8-pin connectors on new modern quality PSUs is just dumb. See.... RIP uBlock Origin? Google Proceeds With Plan to Shake Up Chrome Extensions For years now, Google has been trying to wind down Manifest V2 in favor of Manifest V3, which is designed to offer better security for Chrome extensions. But the effort has been met with resistance from ad-block providers since Manifest V3 can also restrict access to content filtering on the Chrome browser. If you’re a fan of ad blockers, prepare for some change: Google is resuming a plan to phase out older Chrome extensions, including the one for uBlock Origin. The phaseout will start in June 2024, when Google begins disabling older Chrome extensions built with the “Manifest V2” system. “Users impacted by the rollout will see Manifest V2 extensions automatically disabled in their browser and will no longer be able to install Manifest V2 extensions from the Chrome Web Store,” the company says. Still, the news is sparking worries for fans of uBlock Origin on Chrome. “By disabling support for MV2, Google will be pushing even more ads,” tweeted Tuta, the encrypted email provider.

The side effect… Same as under the mining race. Shortage and higher prices (4090). And they can probably sell more overpriced 4080’s. Perfect solution giving the 4080 Super the cheaper AD103 die. Today’s question…. Will nvidia release a 4080Ti ? @electrosoft🫢 -

What's wrong with the U:S Government? Why the 4090 but not nvidia's $6000 RTX 6000 ADA cards? Smart done by Mr. Jensen and Nvidia.... Stop producing 4090's then make shortage and rather use all AD102 die's for their more expensive workstation cards. They even screwed own AIC partners. Nice. Igorslab have focus on the same topic as me in this weekends article... Useless/stupid engineers and stupid solutions! Happy to see there is some others out there that can see the same as me. Bad engineerering always boils down to the engineers that made the flaws possible. Weekend blues: Burnt things from the laboratory and the Mini-Fit HCS as a brake on fun igorslab.com A skyscraper decision as unexpected as a plot twist in an engineering soap opera. Really imagine this scene: engineers sitting around a table wondering how they can make the impossible possible. “Let’s put the header upright!” – “But why?” – “Because we can!” And then there is the lack of space on the small PCB. Every millimeter of the PCB is utilized, resulting in a dense population of resistors, capacitors, and other components. The boat was full and they simply put the tower of horror on the board, always hoping that the customer would swallow it and execute the adapter. When we are at it.... Bad engineering also come with some aftermarket solutions that don't do it any better.... Some milk on stupid engineering with lackluster QC. What's the point with the lengthened power pins for the new 12V-6×2 connectors if Cablemod going the opposite way with their lottery terminals? Better quality connectors (CEM 5.1) doesn't help if the cable maker continue with their poor QC. Just got around to installing my 1.1 and noticed that the pins have pretty uneven depth; especially the upper-left pin..? See also. When stupid is the new norm. Cablemod reps try to explain that their 12VHPWR products have less failures than EVGA GPU's. This isn't apple vs apples. This is apples vs oranges. -

Some engineers should be fired. They can't even make an SSD cooler correctly. I can add in "blind" as well. Edit. Yup, it seems Corsair's engineers tested the cooler on one specific slot/board. I added my two cents @Mr. Fox
