This in bolded text above doesn't matter. I hope they test the diffeent coolers at around same ambient. And the new Lian li cooler crushed the others (included the new EK Nucleus CR360 AIO). See... I don't compare with your review. This is within tests from Tomshardware'. 5C colder is massive gain with an AIO vs others as etc the EK Nucleus. -------------_________________________________________________________________________________ Look at this.... Intel may going retarded. So they don't want that the Pc enhusiasts can reduce CPU temps anymore? Do they really hate delidding this much? Soon you can't touch the IHS before one of the caps scrap of the PCB. Why use caps all around the whole PCB? Stupid's!!!!! https://wccftech.com/alleged-intel-meteor-lake-s-lga-1851-desktop-cpu-pictured-in-the-wild/ -

Great review as always bro Fox. Good job🙂 But look at this one below.... If you say the EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 DARK is close to custom cooling... Then look at this new fancy AIO from Lian li. 5C lower temp vs the EK AIO you reviewed under max load is quite good. I haven't taken account the noise level. Just the pure cooling performance. So this looks quite good. But I expect it will fall back vs an good custom cooling with loads north of 400W. Conclusion: I had expected the Galahad II’s performance to be, at best, a 1-2C improvement over it’s competitors. When I first measured these results, I literally couldn’t believe my eyes; a 9% improvement in cooling dissipation is practically unheard of in this market. Dang. The black colored CM adapters won't help to stop the melting. Yep, not even "all black"😀Hmmm, LOOL Thought I got one of the good adapters, never smelled plastic or had power/black screen issues, but I went to take the adapter off anyways so that I could just use my PSU's 12VHPWR cable until I got the v1.1 and 😭 Very fun. The same cooler as the modern Alienware gaming flagship desktop is perfectly adequate for 54W CPU's. And Dell's thermal engineer Travis North think this mini air-cooler is good enough for 13th gen 13900K processors in their small pc chassis. No overheating here as the Alienware. Temp max out around 58C. I'm sure former Alienware boss Mr. Asor would be damn proud of the air cooler Lenovo opted for their mini desktops, LOOL The new desktop have only a single DDR4 stick so will see if I can buy a cheap mem module for dual channel. https://hwbot.org/submission/5329289_papusan_cinebench___r23_multi_core_with_benchmate_pentium_g4560_2264_cb?recalculate=true https://hwbot.org/submission/5329556_papusan_cinebench___r20_pentium_g4560_864_cb?recalculate=true Hmm... Is these pcie strimer extension kits with loads of bling bling popular? Or is it for the very few? What I see in these is only disgusting. I wonder how long I need to wait to see when bro @Mr. Fox will make reviews of them😁 Yep, it will be fun to see how his pc's will looks like 🙂 -

Here's an new desktop. Will be used as backup or and an extra server. Got it for free so it will have a nice life in Papusan's plaza. I expect the cooling is on par with last gen Alienware Aurora desktop. This one have almost exactly the same air cooler as Dell used for their gaming flagship, HaHa Here's Dell's gaming flagship with it's fantastic aiir cooler... The only difference between the Lenovo is the Cpu fan flip over on the opposite side😁 Even Dell Alienwares brand new 2023 model have same cooler, LOOL As you can see, Dell innovate as usual. And the chassis is the same old they have used the last decade. Only changed some of the plastic details on the outside. I didn't know Dell was so funny. -
One more.... But for older Zen chips. AMD Zen 1 Vulnerability Emerges, Dividing by 0 Can Leak Sensitive Data Despite the fact that AMD's Zen 1 architecture is immune to the recent 'Inception' vulnerability affecting modern Zen 3 and Zen 4 CPUs, another vulnerability has been found that affects Zen 1 CPUs specifically. According to a report by Phoronix, a new Zen 1 vulnerability was found that can release potentially sensitive data if the CPU divides an integer calculation by the number 0 in Linux operating systems. Thankfully the issue appears to be Linux-specific and does not affect Windows operating systems. Plus the vulnerability is already being actively patched for Linux users. However, the same cannot be said of the two other vulnerabilities affecting modern AMD CPUs and Intel CPUs, Inception and Downfall, right now.

Is there any official Recall statement or something like it from Cablemod about 90-180 deg. adapters? Maybe every company out there should do the same so they don't destroy own reputation? Aka being slammed by media. Etc Dell sneak in unwanted firmware so their crapware perform worse. What a dishonest business. What a Joke.... We are rewarding all early adopters who purchased a V1 Angled Adapter. Why not offer badges as well ? As etc with the text....I have been screwed by CableMod.... Or "I was the lucky one"... No melting. -

Hope their bikes have good shock absorbers😁 And I expect they can swim if needed, LOOL The weather in northern part of Norway has been very good this summer. But down south where most of the people live has been worse than normal. Have been in NordKap many years ago. More like 40 years ago. Experienced fantastic weather seeing the sun never going down. -
Imagine if Microsoft have done the same stupid with Windows as Google Chrome head to bro @Mr. Fox Weekly updates.... Retarded!!!! Whats next? Daily updates? Google Chrome is now releasing security updates weekly This change narrows time between security patches, in order to reduce the ability to exploit vulnerabilities.

A bit off topic. But the summer weather is catastropic here. Within 20 days and we are in the fall and the winter is knockin on the door. We have had maybe 20 days with real summer weather here home this summer. Yep, the need for D vitamins and salmon oil is real. Because the sun is absent. Could some send some some warming sun over Papusan's plaza in the cold north. "Hans" makes headlines around the world: "The rain storm causes chaos" In Norway, meteorologists and other experts place the amounts of water in parts of the country as 200-year flood, 100-year flood and 50-year flood. The water level in some waterways has never been measured higher, and the danger is not yet over. Hybrid processors/phone processors is damn idiotic for desktops. AMD will also jump on this stupid tech. This won't be the last time we see baby cores destroy or mess up the performance. Do you like the idea with more and more E-cores bro @Mr. Fox?🤔 But the fllod of baby cores make the processors cheaper (smaller die reduce costs). Or put it the other way... Maybe increase profits. Atlas Fallen Optimization Fail: Gain 50% Additional Performance by Turning off the E-cores Frame data being processed by the P-cores end up having to wait for those from the E-cores, which causes the overall framerate to come down. -
The Red pill..... AMD 'Inception' Vulnerability Affects Zen 3 and 4 Unfortunately for AMD and its users, Inception affects the latest AMD Ryzen processor families based on Zen 3 and Zen 4 cores — across data center, desktop, HEDT, and mobile. However, we must be thankful that, as details of Inception go live, mitigations are in the pipeline. The Blue pill..... Intel 'Downfall' Bug Steals Encryption Keys, Data From Years of CPUs A new security vulnerability, called Downfall, was revealed today by Intel and the researcher who discovered it, Daniel Moghimi. The new attack uses Gather Data Sampling to steal data and other sensitive information from other users on a computer with Intel processors from 2015 through 2019 ranging from sixth gen Skylake through eleventh gen Rocket Lake and Tiger Lake.

It worked completely fine so it has to be good... Maybe the blue color was the reason for the slow melt? What color on the adapter will reduce the chance for melt and fire? The red or the blue pill adapter?😀 What color is it on your adapter @electrosoft Maybe take the chance if the adapter is Red?😁 Even the shipping carton CM use is of bad quality. Yep, there are some stupids out there... -

In short.... Don't buy it. Buy a console instead for wasting money on this.... Doesn't matter if its the castrated mid-range 4000 series nvidia card or the AMD junk. Generally speaking, RTX 4060 Ti at $400 is fairly expensive. This high GPU pricing will drive more gamers away from the PC platform, to the various game consoles that are similarly priced and will give you a perfectly crafted first-class experience that works on your 4K TV, without any issues like shader compilation, stuttering and other QA troubles. Congrats bro Fox. And please send my best wishes to the lucky ones. The whole fam Fox 🙂 -

See Jaybee's reply. He was spot on. This test machine run around +35% overclock and the cooling for the VRM on this board isn't the best. So it run with close to double the power vs with stock clocks. This means you need active cooling for the MB power delivery. Yep, I will never buy a mini-pc. Bigger the better 🙂 And with this chassis I have dual PSU setup for 2250W power🙂 And loads of power connectors. Edit. Added in a new desktop setup in my post above. -

Yep, sad times when you have to pay $2,002 USD for a Strix 4080😵 And this isn't even scalper price from the retail shop. Just the normal price you have to pay for graphics cards that should cost the half included the dreaded 25% tax. -

Nice. I waited a long time to buy a brand new GPU. I skipped buy new graphics cards the last 3.5 years due Mining, scalpers and shortage. Maybe I jumped in at the correct time. In between two sad periods for gamers. And 4090's haven't sinked in price since launch date so not a big loss. And I avoided spend my hard earned money on massive overpriced 4080s and castrated low/mid end Nvidia cards. Yep, maybe the jump on the 4090 HOF was a good purchase/and decision. Hmmm, foods for thoughts bro @Mr. Fox @electrosoft @Rage Set++++ Same as with my great mind that said... Avoid custom 12VHPWR adapters/new ATX 3.0 PSU with the fragile tiny 12+4 pin terminal on the PSU panel (what you already have is better). Yep, I prefer trust my own mind/own way thinking tech. -

I think the change was only because Nvidia tried hard to make minimalist PCBs. They are retarded designed. And the lower end SKUs have even smaller PCB. One cute tiny connector fits them all....... Then you have the PCI-Sig specs for 8-pin connectors. We could never got more than 525W as maximum with regular firmware (including the 75W max from the Pcie slot). Because we e would never got 4x8-pins connectors from nvidia. Too many have lower end PSUs or PSUs with not proper amount 8 pins connectors. With the Hof cards we are able to get 666W firmware because of 2x12VHPWR. And quite a few can cross-flash this vbios on heavily castrated cards. At least if you have the old 4090 chips from Nvidia. With the new silicon revision for 4090 cards you are screwed. Just look at AMD. 3x8-pins is all what you’ll get. And we all know that Nvidia and AMD is capable to fully lock any tweaks for TDP and voltage. Wouldn’t that be nice? Locked down to 525w on any cards due PCI-SIG and 3x8pins? I would rather take that 666W firmware and the tiny 12VHPWR connectors Nvidia jumped on any day. Everything going the wrong way with new modern tech. Nvidia prefers professionals over gamers… Bigger profits. Why waste a full fat AD102 die on 4090Ti cards? https://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-rtx-4500-5000-workstation-cards -

If they absolutely had to change it.... Only Galax/KFA2 made the correct solution for their HOF cards.... Dual 12VHPWR connectors. And mounted them the correct way. -

CableMod have two issues... Melted adapters + their 12VHPWR cables that have problems with the sense cables. They will come out from the terminal after some times use. Their quality issues with own 12VHPWR products is amazing. Their QC at the Chineese factories is a huge JOKE. Regarding Asus engineers went the opposite way and went with reverse connectors on the PCB. Why? Is it more expensive make the heatink slightly different vs the PCB? Or because they thought it was easier for the gamer kids to mount and unmount the fragile 12VHPWR connector with this design? My thought on this... They wanted to help people to mount the fragile connector to the card. Almost like they think everyone is helpless -

Nice. 350-400W just mean they don't want the performance crown. In short.... With this low power target you won't see melt hell😁 Yep,AMD don't need the mini-fit 12+2 terminals. Rip my 4090 4090 Repair update - Not fixable due to connector shortage (Northridgefix) Just received an email after 5 days of waiting regarding the repair status of my 4090. I've been informed they won't be able to fix it unless I can provide the Asus reverse connector as they've been unable to source the part recently. Probably because so many melted Asus cards that have been repaired 🙂 -

And it seems Evga still can't fix their high end motherboards compatibility problems with newer graphics cards. This is just sad.... When was 4090 released? October last year? "I figured its just the card and Board that does not gel together with Gskill ram." All this works on a low end Gigabyte Z790 board but not the EVGA. https://www.overclock.net/threads/official-nvidia-rtx-4090-owners-club.1800847/post-29222392 -

They should do as Cablemod reps say.... Unplug it😁 And another fix... Is to make cute small home-cocked cards with a massive GPU stand mounted properly in the mini chassis bottom. A real proprietary lock that can almost glue the GPU to the chassis. It won't be fixed properly as long we see stupid made7designed GPU PCBs. S in short.........
