The real problem is that this custom adapter don't stay plugged in. It will wiggle out from the connector on the GPU pcb. More as a ticking Bomb🙂 And I'm afraid some will give away their top bin cards for the new castrated 1.070 versions due melt hell fix. So stupid can't be fixed. Neither, will it be recovered 😞

This card have been in use near 8 years. I can't see the white color have changed vs cards I have seen in reviews. All cleaning I did after I got it was with the AC blower and a water dampened cloth. And the cleaning took less than 1min. But I expect there is a difference between products and brands. Not all offer the quality you should expect. Reducing cost to maximize profit is the main driver. I don't have the 3060Ti so can't say yes or no. But be sure you get the value from that 1100 spending. I expect you talk about CAD and not U$D. So $830 USD for the whole PC. One thing for sure.... You can't upgrade any laptops. You are stuck with what you have. And you can't put in different graphics card for a bench session. But you can offset some of the cost for a newer graphics card if you find out you want to sell that 3060Ti.
