  1. If you need 10 min to extract it then there is something very wrong here😃 And why not try use 7-Zip ? See if that one can boost up the speed for you. Not the first one being screwed by scammers. And probably not the last one (Yep, your own faulth). Who think they can get away with an 4090 for $200-300 USD and expect it can be easily repaired? Maybe one of a million, HaHa
  2. LOOL. This is spot on, HaHa The bottom line? Windows 11 24H2 is available to test, but only by those who own Copilot+ hardware. Does this mean that Windows Copilot+ PCs won’t ship with 24H2 on board, so they can optionally test it later? For a launch that’s supposedly all about artificial intelligence, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of smarts involved in this Windows 11 update. https://www.pcworld.com/article/2370043/windows-11s-latest-update-is-kind-of-insane-in-a-bad-way.html
  3. Good luck. And yep, this one won't be the last. And the worries will only stop when we as parents being trown in the coffin. Worries will follow us the whole life. And that's life 🙂 Thanks. This means I will have two Father's Day😀 Norway have an different day in the year. So I take them both, HaHa Saw the deal here... Super Flower Leadex Platinum | 1600 W | 80 Plus Platinum | $599.99 $249.99 at Newegg (save $ with promo code CYGMKTDTAA36). No fancy fragile tiny 12+4 power connector on the psu panel. 9 real 8-pins PCIe connectors for what you want. The way I prefer. I wish this one was in SFF then it would be a nice replacement for my second PSU in my black box (Second PSU - Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold 750W for total of 2250 W Power). Boosted up to 3100W would be a nice power reserve 🙂 The gamer boys and girls have voted with their wallet. They want small, thin, fancy colored and slimy. The modern tech trend roll faster and faster. It is only a matter of time before the rest of the worlds tech companies adopts this trend. The coming 5000 series cards will be smaller as well. Be you sure. Cute has to be todays word. World's smallest GeForce RTX 4070 launches in China and sells out immediately https://www.tweaktown.com/news/98861/worlds-smallest-geforce-rtx-4070-launches-in-china-and-sells-out-immediately/index.html
  4. A lot have been better if the younger gen computer users have stopped use much of the trash out there. Buy less trash.... Use less trash. Tech companies can't throw out trash if no one buy or use it.
  5. I wish the younger gen was smarter. But it goes the wrong way. Being stupid or cluesless is an modern trend. You get what you ask for. https://www.openweb.com/share/2i0cOGfm2ETG8JzDruVCNMW8x7I
  6. The Real Problem With Recall Microsoft: People Don't Trust Microsoft If people trust Microsoft they are idiots. And if they trust any tech company they are equal idiots as well. @Mr. Fox Enjoy. A very good article. While I’m talking about Microsoft here, the reality is that many people don’t trust tech companies in general. That's spot on. And not a understatement. You can't have trust in greed and stupidity.
  7. The Real Problem With Recall Microsoft: People Don't Trust Microsoft If people trust Microsoft they are idiots. And if they trust any tech company they are equal idiots as well. @Mr. Fox Enjoy. Finally some good read about modern tech While I’m talking about Microsoft here, the reality is that many people don’t trust tech companies in general. That's spot on. And not a understatement. You can't have trust in greed and stupidity.
  8. Perhaps the higher-ups at Microsoft should re-evaluate their priorities in developing Windows? Having up to 10% CPU usage taken up on a user's system while it's doing nothing at the same time privacy concerns around Recall and the like are getting worse than ever is not a good look. Windows 11 Cross Device Service bug eats CPU resources — Microsoft identifies cause but no fix ready yet
  9. No in hell! I hate tech trash in same way as I hate the weather here home. So.... Give him some slack please🙂 @GIGABYTE Enjoyer welcome 🙂 Intel denies reports that it identified a root cause for Core i9 crashing issues — investigation continuesThe eTVB feature is reportedly
  10. Good luck put in the faster Gen 5 drives if you want them to perform as expected in Jokebooks.
  11. You can't trust Microsoft doing the right thing with Copilot+ and the recall feature. It will be a huge security risk. Only Microsoft and the different governments will have a gain from it. Not the users. "Microsoft knew about the security flaw that led to the Solarwinds hack" Microsoft: Therefore you should not use local account
  12. Talking about new features. Microsoft have backtracked the security problem for now. Would you trust that guinea pigs is good enough to make this feature more secure? Why trust unpaid guinea pig if one of the worlds best engineers have failed doing it right? Would you use an unpaid maid to operate as a heart surgeon on the local hospital? That the way Microsoft do it. We are adjusting the release model for Recall to leverage the expertise of the Windows Insider community free paid guinea pig to ensure the experience meets our high standards for quality and security. Microsoft recalls Recall: Controversial AI feature won't be in Copilot+ Windows build at launch https://www.tomshardware.com/software/windows/microsoft-recalls-recall-controversial-ai-feature-wont-be-in-copilot-windows-build-at-launch
  13. You are all too modern bro @Mr. Fox😁 I prefer music from older days. And the older I become the more I enjoy older music and soundtrack. Who said new has to be better? @ryan Just let me simplify it for you. Old music is just … better🙂 But old me also listening on new😁
  14. You're going the wrong route bro @Talon😁 The new gen hardcore gamers (those that learned computing and gaming via smartphones) has voted with their wallets. B650 Chipset and Micro-ATX Form-factor Dominate Socket AM5 Motherboard Sales: Research A market research of AMD Socket AM5 motherboards sold in South Korea by Danawa, provide some interesting insights on how gamers approach the platform. This research is confined to Korea, but can be extrapolated to other similar markets. The research studies the chipset model, and form-factor of Socket AM5 motherboards sold in the market. The most interesting finding of the research is that the AMD B650 is by far the most popular chipset for the platform, dwarfing even the entry-level A620 chipset by a factor of 8. A staggering 80% of the Socket AM5 motherboards being sold are based on the B650. It's important to note here, that this figure does not include the B650E, which is separately shown making up just 2% of the volumes. The B650 (non-E) has nearly all platform features, with motherboards based on the chipset providing at least one Gen 5 M.2 NVMe slot that doesn't eat into the lanes of the x16 PEG slot; and with the current generation of GPUs not featuring the PCIe Gen 5 host interface, customers seem more than happy with the Gen 4 x16 PEG slot provided by B650 motherboards. What's more, you get CPU overclocking and memory overclocking on this mid-range chipset, so it appeals to a very wide demographic. The B650E, on the other hand, provides a Gen 5 x16 PEG slot, and motherboards based on this chipset tend to offer premium I/O features, such as a high-end onboard audio solution, premium wireless networking, among others. Yep, we live in modern times with modern tech.
  15. Intel fires back on AMD. Intel corrects AMD's Turin vs. Emerald Rapids benchmarks A benchmark correction just a few days after publication? That first happened with AMD vs. Nvidia, now comes part 2: AMD vs. Intel. Intel Refutes AMD's Xeon AI Performance Compare Vs EPYC Turin Application performance obviously uses hardware speed as a baseline, but software optimizations are ultimately where the real gains are gotten. Software optimization over improved hardware means more and more. I'm sure older hardware could be improved with software if they really wanted do so. But that won't sell new hardware. Unreal Engine 5 isn't running any game at native 4K due to a major limitation More specifically, Sutton said there is no Unreal Engine 5-powered game that can run native 4K with acceptable performance because developers are essentially forced to use these upscaling technologies to hit their desired framerates.
  16. What if you disable one of the chiplets and use only the one with the 3D Cashe? Edit. Forgot you had the the vanilla Ryzen🙂 Slight improved signal quality for the mem traces (Same as with Intel with Z790 over Z690). And same will happen with every new upgrade.
  17. Still quite fast here. Not sure what's up. And now the elite will have their a bite of the cake as well. But you will never ever get real customized firmware as the choosen ones get. Off means off: Splave Edition PSU has no residual power, discharges as soon as you flick the switch
  18. Now it's seems the forum is very fast🙂 @Reciever @Hiew🙂 sweepersc - GeForce GTX 1070 (Mobile) @ 1799/2477MHz - 188605 marks 3DMark03
  19. Spot on. And there is no cure for it. Sad to see the decline in intelligence☹️
  20. welcome to the modern tech world. Stupidity floating around in loads and hardware manufacturers taking advantage of it 🤮🤢🤮
  21. Somewhat wrong. The added M.2 slot in some GPUs is for storage because nvidia was so kind cripple the bandwith for lower end GPU's. Aka they can't run at full PCIe speed. So rather let the added M2 ssd get the remaining PCIe lines.
  22. Please try validate the score/result from the submit button in the settings page in your UL/Futuremark account. Some with such problems could fix it this way.
  23. @Mr. Foxwant to see one of the most stupid ideas I have ever seen? Flash to LN2 900W vbios. If you try the "valueble gods saviour" Safe mode button (see pict below) on the backside of the card it will wipe out everything that smells XOC vbios. You are then stuck with the lame half catrated vbios from Asus. Why not only wipe the vbios to stock settings and not wipe out the whole vbios? It seems everytime you touching that Safe Mode button you are forced to do a new vbios flash. Isn't that great engineering? See vbios I flashed a couple of days before then compare what I get back after using the idiotic ASSus Safe Mode button. And for the records.... I have tested several so called Asus GPU Tweak II software meant for this card.... Now I can't even see or use voltage adjustment. But no problem use it with my Zotac card. And I mean I have tested 7 or 8 versions. Same outcome. Zero. Isn't it cute... You get mem and pex voltage. But nothing for the GPU voltage. Tested also with this version. Still no change. And the fans live their own life. Sometimes they both spin full speed after maxing out the manual fan speeed control. Then back to off for one of the two fans. Randomly. And as you can see... Asus play god with fans setting in almost every new Asus GPU software version... Perverse? https://www.asus.com/supportonly/gputweak ii/helpdesk_download/ I have never seen something messed up like this Asus flagship graphics card... NEVER! Edit: I'm quite feed up with this stupidity and trashy flagship GPU from Asus. HOF, Lightning and Kingpin all they over this junk from Asus. Pretty looking/good design isn't the same as awesome or great. But we both know that.
  24. I posted this one in the comment section... If those burn up as well, then only dual trash connectors as the HOF will help. What I have learned from this... Nvidia won't allow so high TBP with 5090. They will try avoid a new round with melt hell. Castrate cards is the closest fix they will offer.
  25. Hmmm. New has to be better, LOOL @ryan😁 Amidst Multiple Leaks, AMD Admits Ryzen 7000X3D Will Still Beat Zen 5 Ryzen 9000 In Gaming AMD's first processors sporting the Zen 5 architecture, the company's Ryzen 9000 desktop CPUs, will go on sale next month, in July. There's been some question over whether people already rocking Zen 4 processors with 3D V-Cache, those being Ryzen 7000X3D series chips, should consider upgrading.... And it won't stop😁 Yup, nvidia and PCI Sig to blame for this.... Most of the owners of the $2000 USD cards have to pay the repair from own pocket. Nice. I hope there will come a class action against Nvidia. But it's probably too late now. And.... Yes, Asus oh Asus🤢 Repair Shop Claims To Fix Up To 100 Fried RTX 4090 Cards Every Month The GeForce RTX 4090 remains the king of the hill in the consumer GPU realm and it will stay that way until NVIDIA gets around to launching its next-gen Blackwell lineup, which will presumably include a GeForce RTX 5090. Not without its warts, however, the RTX 4090 is a pricey card (nothing unusual about that)
