  1. Welp, today was the final day for my 8000mhz ram to be delivered, and guess what ....ya, you guessed it, a no show. Now I have to file a claim with Newegg for a lost package, that looks to me like it was never shipped. 🤬 Now another 5 to 7 business days for them to resolve my claim....what a joke. I could be losing sleep right now trying to hit 8000 MHz....smdh @Papusansorry bro about the yuck you are going through. I hate the heat too. 35c here in Idaho today. @Mr. FoxIt takes a degree in trigonometry to know if the human eye can distinguish between 1080p, and 4K. Viewing angle, pixel pitch, distance from the screen ....blah, blah.. I myself believe it's marketing BS. I cannot tell the difference between 1080, 1440, 4K. My eyes can however, see the difference in low refresh rate screens. 60hz and lower flickers like a florescent bulb. https://www.techspot.com/article/1113-4k-monitor-see-difference/
  2. How much was that Asus MB? I think my MSI was around $500. I seem to have a fairly good 7950x sample, as it can be benched all cores negative 30 voltage curve. I can get near 40K on CB 23. I am also able to run my 6000mhz ram at 6400mhz @34 36 36 36, 1-1
  3. USPS "currently awaiting for package"...haha they have until tomorrow. Never been this disappointed with Newegg. Ordered on the 19th, supposedly shipped on the 21st. I have always received my orders in 3 to 4 business days, with full tracking available. This is stupid.
  4. This is what the Egg says, but supposedly it is in transit?? Stupid.
  5. Still waiting for my 8000mhz ram to be delivered. UPS mail innovations sucks! The Egg says it's still hasn't shipped, but I tried to create a case for an undelivered item, and was shot down, saying it's in delivery process. A little disappointed with them. I ordered on the 21st, should have been here by now 🤬
  6. There's my man chew*. Hope you pop in from time to time and visit with us! We are a small, and somewhat close group of geeks, that have a small hardware addiction 😁
  7. I'd like to think I fall into that category, because I like aesthetically pleasing hardware, and Windows installs, but will not cut corners in performance. If I stare at my screen for a few hours a day, I want it to be a little on the "eye candy" ish side. Same goes with my hardware, although I hate rainbow unicorn piss for rgb, I do like some nice looking lights
  8. Remember CompUSA? Loved that place! They always had great stuff!
  9. You know, I have been looking for a really cool Uncle lately! I am interested in being a Nephew, Hit me up! All kidding aside, thats pretty cool bro @electrosoft
  10. Has anyone ever done this? Man what a total brain fart! Submitting to the Bot like this 🤣
  11. 2800mhz mem, 3200mhz core, bench stable with the new water block on the xtx!
  12. I just thought of something that might be kind of cool. Not sure if anyone would be into it though. What about setting up a zoom video call with the Overclock thread guys every now and then? Anything goes, type call. Just to shoot the S**t, or talk about new and interesting things? I don't know, it just popped in my head a second ago....
  13. Already in Windows at 6400mhz 1-1, changed nothing but frequency! Couldn't get past windows loading screen before! These are stock 6000mhz sticks...The Egg may be getting some more of my hard earned credit/cash soon 🙂
  14. @electrosoftbios released for our boards today 😁 I've been checking daily https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-X670E-CARBON-WIFI/support
  15. So I am friends with a guy named chew* on Xtreme systems on Facebook. Apparently gigabyte has their new Agesa out.
  16. Wow, the man, the myth, the legend has graced us with an appearance 🤣 Good to see ya stranger 👍💪
  17. $259 USD for 2x16gb, $279 for 2x24gb. Have not decided on which, and still waiting on MSI for a bios drop 😕
  18. Same here. Have some 8000mhz sticks in cart and ready 🤣
  19. I have a couple things in my cart, waiting for a new bios to drop, and the time to tinker. Still have a new Bykski water block to install 😒
  20. Im excited for this! I will be looking for bios updates on MSI frequently, as will @electrosoftIm sure!
  21. I used to purchase Maxtor hard drives in the past, but they were bought out by Seagate in 2006. Most times I stick with WD or Seagate for HDD's. Mechanical HDD's are still more cost effective for storing data, and large files.
  22. You know, you show your age when you say "National Inquirer" 😁
  23. Sounds like you should wear a tethered wrist band attached to an overhead track system, which is connected to a grounding rod. Or mount a piece of rebar in your office to grab before touching anything electronic. 🤣
  24. So, I ordered the water block for the 7900xtx from ebay, hoping that it was a bykski.... Saved $80 Maybe sneak in some time tomorrow to put it on...
  25. Have not ordered one yet. If I order one then I must sit down and install an OS, configure the OS to my liking, install my favorite programs and software. That my friend, is a boat load of time I do not have right now. I would love to get one, as the speeds look really great, but I think I can live without it for now. I am sure Samsung will be releasing a gen 5 soon as well, if they haven't already, which should drop prices as well. I am trying to locate some time to install the bykski water block and run some benches on the 7900xtx, but it's looking grim. 😔
