That X570 Asrock board I had was rock solid. Same as the 7900xtx I have now. They have come a long way over the last few years. I guess it's the same with any manufacturer, they all have ups and downs. -

I'd like to see MSI develop something along those lines. By the time they do, I'll have moved on from them to AsRock. -

I've had this happen to me before with usps. It's like the pony, in pony express, ate some oats laced with drugs. Or it was some federal worker that didnt quite pass their DEI course. -

I thought it was nice looking also. I am more curious about the thermal paste guard. I guess it's a thermalright, not Thermaltake. -

Ordered a new Bykski block and a thermaltake thermal paste protector. Going to see if I can drop the temps a little more. -

I really hope this doesn't take off, and fails miserably. I've been excited about zen 5 coming soon. 45K leaked stock CB23 multi core on the 8950x. 👊🤙 -

The 5090 may be 50% faster, but at what cost? Knowing ngreedia, there will probably be a 50% mark up from the 4090, or more. $3000 gpu's? -

Oh, I forgot...I too have some macrium backups of Windows 7. Although I do not have the 6800xt any longer. I need to "Papusan" some gpus maybe. 🤣 -

I just installed a modified, (trimmed) version of Windows 11 23H2, and so far is performing better than my ltsc 22H2. I honestly wanted to install 7 without the gpu drivers, but blue screened after the welcome logo. I then remembered what a pain in the behind it is to get it running, so I bagged that idea. I Really hate the Redmond nazis. -

Hwbot probably has a 5 to 1 ratio of Intel to AMD, which also skews results, and there are probably many more top overclockers using Intel to AMD, so IMO, the bot is not an accurate measurement as well. If AMD made a 24 core desktop cpu, it wouldn't even be close. -

I have no idea where you think Intel has the multi threaded crown?? Intel doesn't even make a 16 core 32 thread desktop chip. Intel requires 8 more cores to barely surpass the Ryzen 16 core, and that is only in rendering. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html -

There is a leaked Benchmark of the 8950x floating around, not sure how legit it is. https://hothardware.com/news/zen5-cpu-benchmark-rumor -

Well, I managed to flush her out, new hoses, new fittings, new paste, I just haven't found a spot for the manifold yet. Coolant looks as it should, and the old stuff was definitely yellow for some reason. Looks a little cleaner with the smaller OD lines. Oh yeah, I replaced the cpu water block with the replacement Raijintek sent. (After 7 months) 🤣 -

I kept thinking the lines were some sort of flow indicators on top. Still have not found a desirable place to mount it, but will continue to scout around. Thank you for the info! -

I couldn't find any of the smaller EK manifolds in stock anywhere, so I just started browsing Titan rig, and found this one. And even they didn't have the 6 port (on top) model from Alphacool, which is the one I wanted. I have their manual with it, but I think it loses something in translation from German?? I couldn't make head's or tails from it. https://shop.alphacool.com/en/shop/reservoirs-distro-plates/distro-plates/12993-alphacool-es-distro-plate-c2 -

Sick! bro @chew I have everything I need to redo my loop. I am a bit confused on the small alphacool manifold, and how it flows. I bought some new fittings, because I want to switch to 3/8" ID-1/2" OD tubing, as I think it looks cleaner. Not sure if it will hinder performance, though. I've got some super concentrate coolant all mixed and ready to go, and some fresh Noctua to repaste. Just need some time! -

Agreed, get it now, and enjoy it, have fun with it, bench the piss out of it, then sell it for the next great thing. -

The 7900xtx is a great card. It is a beast at rasterization, and the price has come down a bit since launch. He really can't go wrong with purchasing it. Trying to sell the extra 8000mhz kit I have here on FB, and the clowns I get are amazingly ignorant. "That kit is only $120 new", "there is no difference between 6000mhz, and 8000mhz", "you are stupid, you will never get $180 for it"....The level of stupidity is astounding!
