  1. Here is my 7900xtx https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/107826064 Avg clock of 2836mhz is still a little low.
  2. I am still on the beta version. I have not updated yet. I will do that now, and see what happens. It never happened on the previous bios versions. As you may recall, this board is a bit flaky. May go the AsRock Taichi, next go around.
  3. @electrosoft another weird occurrence with my bios/board. If I forget to enable a setting after a cmos reset, it will error with A6, and I will have to reset it again. In other words, if I originally forgot to set memory context restore to enabled, simply enabling it will result in an A6 error, forcing me to reset it again. I must do all of my bios settings at once. If I change anything afterwards, it refuses to post. Must be something to do with the newer bios? I've got everything set the way I want, except memory timings, but if I go in and try to change anything, it will error, and not post.
  4. I'd never used automotive coolant, but heard it was ok to use. I did order some Bykski concentrate from China, but was thinking of trying some automotive type. BTW, where has @johnksss been? Have not seen him nor @Reciever much lately??
  5. What is everyone with a custom loop using for coolant? @electrosoftBios out of beta, and a bug fix for Ryzen 8000 series https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-X670E-CARBON-WIFI/support
  6. We'll have to do some comparison benching when you get it dialed.
  7. Hey I still have pictures stored on my computer, that I transferred via floppy, and my Sony Mavica. 🤣
  8. Thank you bro @Mr. Fox. Notice the slight yellow shade of the coolant? That's not what it's supposed to look like. I used the coolant from Raijintek, and I'm not sure if it has any anti fungal. I did top it off a few months ago with some distilled water, maybe that's what caused the yellowing. Anyhow, new coolant on the way 👍
  9. Got the new sensor panel all set up in the case. I think it looks pretty cool. There are quite a few templates shared in the Aida64 forums. This was my favorite.
  10. Not to get too political, I won't set foot into a target. OG Gen-X here. Leave the kids alone!
  11. Ali-Express $45. Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNkcBZy
  12. Used to go to CompUSA though. Man I loved that place. I rarely purchase electronics from BB either. I do have a credit card for that place(never used)
  13. Taxes filed 👍. Been tough trying to find time to play....but you are correct about family. I did get a chance "while doing taxes" to configure my new panel.
  14. I think @electrosoftwould know. I think he buys there quite often.
  15. Man, I miss all this tuning talk. The most I've spent tuning on my rig, is installing turbo tax, and doing our taxes. 🙄
  16. Looks like Intel caught cheating again.... https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/spec-invalidates-2600-intel-cpu-benchmarks-says-companys-compiler-used-unfair-optimizations-that-boosted-performance
  17. I have not kept up very well lately. Is the 14900k subpar? Does anyone have one in the forums here? Being a somewhat loyal AMD guy, I've been used to subpar cpu's for a number of years. I guess I've been kind of that way since the K6 days. The last Intel system I built goes way back to the Pentium III Era.
  18. That has not been my experience. I've seen them get trapped in bends of the tubing, and I have also seen them travel around the loop, in an endless cycle. Until you "burp" the radiator/loop, they will continue to form. This has been my experience in nearly 100% of my builds
  19. Bubbles do not show up in the reservoir, and a flow meter will not determine everything specifically after a hardware swap, as the flow will change. Bubbles can and will sit in pockets in your lines and radiator. If you have colored lines, you have to guess when you have purged the system. As I stated before, the reservoir will have a little foam, but you will not see bubbles. Here is my Koolance Phenom II rig circa 2008 All these years, and I just noticed the cat photo bombed me in the lower right 😄
  20. You cannot see air bubbles with solid black tubing, which is why it makes sense for AIO's. (Closed loop) You can see slight foaming in your reservoir, but you will not see air bubbles traveling through your pump without clear lines.
  21. Custom loops can be a pain sometimes. It helps to have quick disconnects and drain valves. Otherwise switching hardware is a messy ordeal.
  22. Not sorry... it's an excellent gpu! @jaybee83 It's a custom Raijintek loop. It's been 8 or so months since installing it. Definitely needs repaste and flush. I do the undervolt on all cores negative 30 via PBO.
  23. Nearing 40K. My system is ready for a coolant flush and a repaste. Really never saw temps above 90c, like in that screenshot. https://hwbot.org/submission/5193156_raiderman_cinebench___r23_multi_core_with_benchmate_ryzen_9_7950x_39605_cb
