  1. That's a pretty darn good speedway score. Anything DX12 is a little harder to zero in on optimal clocks for me. Dx11 eg. Fire strike loves it when I crank up the clocks. I was curious if he was Philipino is why I was asking. As you know my wife is from the Philippines. It'd be cool if he was on the forums here to chat with.
  2. So, if I do the same, and disable some weaker cores, I would get a higher graphics score? Or does that only apply to Intel?
  3. Which should make his Physics, and combined score higher than mine, but they are not. There is something fishy about that benchmark run, and thats why I highlighted the red exclamation mark. Not sure if that is a valid run.
  4. All my premamod bros, who is this? https://hwbot.org/user/sweepersc/ Where is he/she? I have not seen them here in the forums, but would like to know them.
  5. Have not had a ton of time to play with it, but from what I have gathered, it is a huge uplift in performance. I hear no coil whine, of course I am not liquid cooled, so the fans may hide some of it. I have been playing a little Assasins Creed III remastered, and it doesn't even breathe hard on that title. Bench wise I have seen some insane scores on the bot, and I'm not quite sure how they are getting so high, especially when my clocks are the same or better.
  6. Ive done the disable driver signature with windows 10 while trying to get 7 installed in pure efi, but have not done it for my desktop. I did not know that you could rid get the stupid tile boot manager. I always thought that was uefi instead of csm. Thank you! I will now try 🙂 Edit: works perfectly. Whoever thought we needed a gui to select an OS to boot to, is an idiot!
  7. The one thing I hate is the reboot when choosing the non-default OS. Right now I have Win 10 set as the default, but if I choose 11, it re-posts and starts over.
  8. Sixtuple?! Holy crap dude. I have enough issues booting 2 OSes, let alone 6! I am using a hacked, lightened Win 11 22h2, and it seems pretty snappy. Not sure if ghost specter cripples AMD as much as Intel though. I am not going to get to comfy with win 11, as I have heard Win 12 will be out next year. Probably full of UWP filth.
  9. Hahahaha.... Bro @Papusanyou know I thought of you immediately when I saw this 🤣🤣🤣 https://twitter.com/theleneshop/status/1661607812387213312?t=oR-WQZQwoBC3q-Qi7QNsfA&s=19
  10. Ive started theming my 11 install. I have it close to what I would like for a finished product. Will post some screens soon. Funny how microsoft just doesnt get the hint with all this third party software, and tweak programs just to make it look more like Windows 7. (Hint....its easier and more productive this way microsoft!)
  11. The EVGA 1000w supernova I bought for my build came with plenty of 8 pin connector cables. I wouldnt call it an expensive PSU by any means. I think it was $139 at the Egg. I did buy some 180 degree 8 pin adapters from China, and they are still sitting in their respective shipping bags.
  12. That is not beautiful in my eyes. At least the first video showed nothing but windows 11 look a likes. Rounded corners is nothing new. Matte look? Thats the exact thing I am avoiding. Transparency does not make eye candy, flat matte, or neon style icons are not eye candy either. As I have said, I have seen nothing that floats my boat as of yet. Thanks for the videos though. I want Vista, Seven glass/transparency with shadowing, and clear type text. All this crap is like fisher price type customizing. (windows xp) Stretch the imagination, and do something ground breaking instead of giving everyone the same look and calling it "breath taking"
  13. Since I am kind of an "eye candy" junkie, is there much customization in any particular Linux distro? I have VM'ed a few in the past, but nothing has really buttered my toast. I am sure it would be a learning process, just as customizing Windows has been. I hate the direction MS went with Windows 10/11 with flat icons, and menus. Its just laziness on their part. We have all of this high dollar hardware in our systems, make the damn OS aesthetically pleasing! Put some effort into creating different OS flavors based on what the end user would like.....Oh my bad...I am talking about Microsoft. It was a nice dream while it lasted.
  14. I have a 6800XT sitting around in an anti static bag! I also have a Ryzen 3900x 12 core
  15. Found it. These are some of the best fan filters made. https://www.demcifilter.com/ https://www.demcifilter.com/products
  16. Have you looked into dust free filters? I know it's always going to be a losing battle in Arizona, but there are some nice filter screens available that don't cut down on airflow much. I need to find the link I had to some super nice fan filters
  17. I dont think I could deal with the dust in an open test bench. My Rig runs 24/7 pretty much, and the amount of crap that would build up on it would drive me bonkers. I have always been a case slut, and enjoy the aesthetics of a good looking set up. I guess if I was super serious about benching, then i would probably have an open bench, so I prefer an enclosure. My PC does not go under the desk, it sits on top to one side. Excuse the mess, still working on getting the office all together.
  18. Tbh I'm kind of missing the pics with the evga case. You had it looking fantastic.
  19. I like both of those, but I kind of like the "out of stock" price of the evga unit. $59.95 is reasonable, but out of stock 😞 If you click any of the other "where to buy" links, its quite a bit more, even at Amazon. Right now I am using an old Logitech G 19s. Good keyboard, but the backlit keys are very dim.
  20. Question? What is everyone using for their main keyboard? Looking for some ideas. Prefer backlit, but not a gamerboy style.
  21. Ya, I would only use something that was meant for my PSU. 🤙 Received the water block and RGB hub as promised by Raijintek! Super impressed with their speed, and communication. Rig is getting closer to being buttoned up. Does everyone route their loop similar as I do? I like to have the cpu intake closest to the radiator output. My theory is it is the coolest side of the route.
