  1. Checked the event viewer, and any critical/error messages in windows are only from the next boot. Stating the previous shutdown was unexpected. Everything else is information logs. There is no bsod when it happens, just blank screen, and reboot.
  2. Got a funny bug with Windows 10 ltsc. It likes to restart for no reason. Just working away, and bam, blank screen. All hardware installed in dev manager, no over clocks, fresh install on the new WD black. Funny thing is Windows 7 is missing two drivers, and runs 24/7 with no issues what so ever. I have windows 7 set as the deffault OS, andI just sent a couple email documents off, replied to a couple others, set my printer up, and hopped in the shower. Went back in the office, and its sitting at the Windows 7 log in screen. SMDH
  3. Picked up a new WD Black 1TB nvme....seems pretty freaken fast 🙂
  4. Ive gone back and forth over the years, although I have not built an Intel system since the Pentium 4 days, I have always preferred the longevity of AMD's socket architecture, instead of the one and done. Unless there is a change in PCIE, USB, SATA standards, there is no reason to purchase another motherboard. Earlier I was using a 3rd gen Ryaen on a 1st gen board, and there was nothing missing, as far as performance.
  5. @Mr. FoxHows that surfboard fit in your case? Is someone needing an EVGA DG case?
  6. I have a 3900x ryzen in marketplace I will give you a good deal on 🙂
  7. The logic is simple. We ALL know every GPU price is inflated, right? Even the 4090 is over priced. Adjusting for inflation, and all the other BS, the card should be around ~$1500. I am old enough to remember everyone here suggesting that no one buy any gpu at those grossly inflated prices, and that paying those prices was idiotic. Paying two thousand dollars for a 4090 was only condoning Nigreedia's malfeasance. But I digress, if you have to have it, then get it!, because I GET IT! I know how the hardware bug affects us all, but I will never spend that amount of money on a GPU. My 1080Ti, and Radeon VII were expensive enough three years ago.
  8. That's some seriously flawed logic. Just because a gpu happens to be the best makes it ok to be bent over? 2k just to have bragging rights on the bot? Oh, wait. ..can't have that either, haha. We wonder why prices for gpu's are so high? It's exactly from that type of thinking. Smh I won't pay for an AMD card that's $600 over priced either, so your argument fails on that as well.
  9. Only 2K....hahaha. No effing way would I pay that kind of cabbage for a GPU. Thats just plain silly.
  10. This is becoming a huge clusterfart! I love the user calling out the elitist scum and his hypocrisy! 🤙
  11. Watched the video and it says not to use write sppt, it does nothing now anyway when clicked. Save mpt file, then use Red bios editor and open stock Navi bios, then transfer saved mpt. I cannot get that far though.
  12. hmmm, doing something wrong. RBE says not supported when trying to load the navi21 rom.
  13. I remember back in the ATI days flashing vbios on my 3850's to make them 3870's. Can we say flash a new vbios from a sapphire nitro to a pulse? that would raise the default clocks a bit. I have not done any vbios stuff in a long time. I did see your screen of your memory OC, and was wondering how it was so high, thought maybe it was afterburner. Wattman limits it to 2150mhz or something/
  14. No, just using wattman. What is MorePowerTool? NVM Vbios editor....google
  15. Curious as to how this WD Black compares to other drives. I looked up my samsung 970 evo, and the WD smokes it. How does this compare to yours?
  16. I think my little PCIE Patriot scorch 128gb ssd that has windows 10 on it, is giving up the ghost. ChkDisk says its fixing errors, but I can run it back to back to back, and its the same errors. What are you guys using for Data drives? SSD's or HDD's? I purchased a 6tb seagate HDD for this build, but I am regretting that, because the wind up time during post is really annoying. It sounds like two monkeys doing you know what to a football. I already have a new 1tb WD Black NVME in cart at $70 to replace the little scorch.
  17. Getting hacked or having viruses is probably 98% user error, and probably was avoidable. I have been into PC tech for over 25 years, and never been hacked, and only had a handful of small viruses, which were all my fault. I either opened or downloaded something I shouldnt have by visiting a nefarious site.
  18. I have modded ISO's that have windows update, and defender purposely disabled...I wont run any of their garbage.
