  1. I think the ? is because your gpu driver is is not verified, or some bs like that. I couldn't upload one yesterday, because of the same error you were getting. I think UL adds the ?, so the bot thinks its an invalid URL.
  2. Would be nice if EVGA would pick up AMD, and Intel, and make graphics cards again. Nvidia burnt that bridge. One of the best gpu's I ever owned was the 1080Ti FTW. Solid build quality, and OC'ed really good. I love EVGA products, but they are a niche company, that needs to expand their product line. They are not very diverse when it comes to PC tech. Last I checked they have not released any Ryzen 7000 motherboards either.
  3. I have always liked the Dead Space franchise. Sounds like it might be pretty good. Might have to check it out.
  4. Was looking at some of the old NBR people, and was wondering where they are? Iunlock? Phoenix? Does Prema come in much?
  5. Yesterday was a crap day for me. One of my best friends and coworkers last day at work was yesterday, and we had to put our yellow lab down after 13 years 😥 We are a little heartbroken today.
  6. Not to interrupt everyone's discussion, but I finally figured out why I've had to install Ltsc so many times, (11). Turns out my ssd had a bad sector, that normal chkdsk wasn't catching. In fact normal chckdsk would corrupt the OS. So I ran chckdsk E: /R from windows 7. It was able to repair the problem, then I quickly did macrium backup. Whew!
  7. TEC's making a comback? I tried one back in the Phenom days, and would get to the point of diminished returns. Its was fun to mess around with for a while, but was finicky. There was a fine line between having it cool great, to having the hot side take over, Here is a pic of my first prize winning 25th anniversary AMD photo contest,(AMD Swag won) and the TEC I was using. Note: This picture was taken with a Sony Mavica...You know the camera that took the 3.5 floppy disk 🤣 Also note the Quad HD Raid 0 array, and the 2 ATI 3850's crossfired 😆 Note 3: See the Cold cathode on the bottom of the case...lol
  8. After reading a lot of comments, most think RT is a bit over hyped considering the FPS hit you take when its enabled. To me, it seems more like a marketing gimmick and less of a necessity. I guess Im not the huge gamer I used to be. Am I wrong?
  9. I wish we could find some cool stuff like this in the states at reasonable prices. US $62.23 53%OFF | 8.8 Inch Long Strip LCD Screen HDMI-compatible USB Port 480X1920 Temperature Display with Bracket for Windows Linux Raspberry Pi https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNlNJ7g
  10. Just moving across town. Much like tech, its time for an upgrade. Many builders and their finance teams are offering lower interest rates, (incentives) so hopefully we can get in on some of that. Supposedly we are in a "buyers" market, but the problem is most people buying need to sell first...haha. Being in Idaho, (very red) is a luxury that we are enjoying, so we wont be moving out of state any time soon. My wife being from the Philippines, we did build a house there, for her family, and us when I retire. Getting ready to board our 12 hour ferry ride to where her parents lived. 2017
  11. Getting closer to cracking the 40K mark in CB 23. Need to do some tuning on the ram. Today is shot though, we are having an open house today, (selling). Wish I could run this in Win 7.
  12. Thats not kind of interesting, that is cool af. Silent cooling at 1 watt of power while dissipating 5 watts of heat. I can see this as next gen cooling. Edit: At the end of the video he says that these will be installed on products by the end of the year.
  13. Back im my day, it was....Can it run Unreal tournament. Fitting that its Unreal Engine pushing the envelope again. I had two of those 5870's crossfired, or maybe it was the 4870's...and hacked my case top to put in the Koolance water cooler.
  14. It is overkill, but hardware enthusiasts eat this crap up. We like fast this or faster that. This is our dilema.....there is always something faster or newer.
  15. Seems like I may have purchased a fairly good chip. I was able to undervolt this thing in precision at -30, so far it is benching CB23. Hasnt crashed yet (crossing fingers)
  16. So I've gone through 5 or 6 Windows 10 LTSC installs, and finally found one that I might stick with. It's 22h2 Windows lot. Not sure if it's a bug with the install, but it resets to the default theme after every reboot. I'm using a modified iso, so that may be the problem as well. Hopefully I will find some time this weekend to run some benchmarks. Of course I may be formatting again if this install pisses me off further. Meanwhile Windows 7 purrs along on the other nvme with three drivers not installed, and two disabled, (AMD wifi, and the integrated Radeon gpu). Canonkong helping me figure out the three that won't install. Honestly I'm having more issues with the Windows 10 install, than with 7...*shrug*
  17. I'd frag everyone....I was the king of the "instagib" 🤣. Ahh, the memories of lugging my 70lb 19" crt monitor, and full tower down the street to a friend's house, or across town to the civic center for a "lan party". Ipconfig release.....ipconfig renew! 🤣
  18. Ok first real quick benchmark in Windows 7. Only adjusted the sliders a little for the 6800xt. My previous best was on the Radeon VII three years ago, just a tad under 25k. Installing Windows 10 LTSC now
  19. Update on build '23. I was sweating for about an hour trying to figure out how to get the massive radiator in, but finally got it. This lianLi lancool is an awesome case. Trying to tone down the unicorn piss, but some software is not supported in Windows 7.
