I almost bought a Yeston 4080 Super on Newegg. It was a very good deal at the time which was the only driving factor, it was priced cheap and seemed like a good buy, and I liked the white PCB. It was not a micro GPU though. 1 13900KF

Here's the thing. Nvidia just launched RTX 5050 for Jokebooks and Desktops. A Game Changer🤢 RTX 5050 desktop card = 8GB GDDR6 with Memory Bandwidth 320 GB/sec RTX 5050 Jokebook soldered on chips = 8GB GDDR7 with Memory Bandwidth 384 GB/sec Is this meant as a JOKE ? Any reason Nvidia couldn't use faster GDDR7 for their RTX 5050 Blackwell desktop cards? The desktop variant of RTX 5050 offer slower vram with lower memory bandwidth and lower AI TOPS. IS LESS MORE? Just because you can play games on the lowest settings, with the lowest expectations, and it is cheap. Maybe they did not realize you can do that with integrated graphics and it is free if you purchased the right CPU. 😒 1 Banshee // STRIX X870E-E | 9950X3D | 4090 Suprim | 48GB DDR5-8000 | GF3 1650W | Triple 360 Loop | Hailea HC-500A || O11D XL EVO (T-Rex) Spectre // AORUS X870E Master | 9950X | RX 9070 XT Elite | 48GB DDR5-8200 | GF A3 1200W | Dual 360 Loop || O11D XL EVO (Rhinoceros) Meh!! // Precision 7720 | BGA CPU Filth | Quadro P5000 | 4K Display | $500 Refurb | Nothing to Write Home About (Turdbook) Mr. Fox YouTube Channel | Mr. Fox @ HWBOT The average response time for a 911 call is 10 minutes. See this one... Many modern motherboards use an extra 8-pin connector. So two 8-pin for the CPU and one to power the rest of the components attached to the MB. But you get an 12V-2*6 connector you can't connect to your Intel, AMD or older nvidia graphics card. Yeees, some will jump on it. Because it's from Seasonic. Maybe it have asingle reverse 12V-2*6 to 2x8-pin cable but that is an idiotic solution. Only to cut costs. Seasonic Core GX-850 in a short test Great value....🤢🤮🤢 Second ugly for the day.... I had posited months ago that one big fear was an XOC Bios that required a hardware checksum of sort for verification and it looks like so far our worst fears are potentially realized. The ultimate insult would be their cards requiring an proprietary attached dongle or hardware device of some sort to be able to flash it successfully that can then be removed afterward. That would be game over for it ever making it into the wild unlike previous cards along with custom flashed cards only being distributed from the AIBs to the master overclockers (tongue in cheek) to then flex with as they climb the charts. Luckily shunting still works but I fear the day they eventually find a way to shut that down too. I agree wholeheartedly that we need to do that. But an even better solution is for all nations to cut off China completely. Russia can be their only customer. If nobody has products manufactured in China, nobody buys anything made in China, and all exports to China are banned by all nations that's an instant win for the world. Excommunicado... just like John Wick. Stuff might cost more, but sometimes you have to break some eggs. In the end everyone (except China) will profit monetarily, philosophically and spiritually in a world without China and Chinese garage soiling our existence. The Chinese people can thank Xi Jinping for it, if they choose to allow him to live.
