I can also see Asus not getting anywhere near enough 5070ti dies and/or packages (depending on if Nvidia still plans on decoupling the memory) and basically EOL'ing their own cards but other, smaller makers continue to offer them when they can too. This is not new for a company to walk back bad PR...... Asus is Asus. I will see it before I belive it (always empthy). Prices will go up. On all SKUs. Those that want 16GB cards that can't afford xx80 will go either with 9070XT or 5070Ti. They will pick what they see first in the store (nvidia if they only want Nvidia). I expect more pressure also on 5080 cards. Picking your favorite brand and SKU model will be much harder forwards. But if you are in for new 16GB cards, you will get one. But it takes longer time than before. And more expensive. Same as I did with my 5090. Empty everywhere in the spring months but grabbed one once I had the chance. There will always come a chance you find what you need/want. It's Wccftech, but still. As I already pointed out... You get cards if you really want. Just don't buy from scalpers/scammers. https://wccftech.com/the-current-state-of-nvidia-rtx-50-gpus-our-exclusive-report-on-geforce-production-aic-supply-memory-shortages-prices-eol-rumors/ $3299 (ROG Astral)5080, LOL Edit. 4090 have offered an fantastic value over the years. But the vanilla 4080 was a huge failure for $1200. 9 hours ago, tps3443 said: @Papusan What are you running for a custom loop? 480+420 EK rads in push and pull. Two D5 and EK-made EPDM rubber tubing. It’s easily better than my previous External Alphacool 1080x45 rad. I’m wondering about adding another though in the future, but the only way to add another would be to introduce warm air in to the case. And I never like doing that. Currently I’m setup with (1st) 480mm GTX rad in the basement (Air passes through the bottom sides of the case) the 2nd 480mm GTX rad is in the top roof portion of the case, so it exhausts warm air out of the case. So my case stays incredibly cool inside. If I added to the front= Warm air inside case. if I added to the floor below the 5090 warm also blows inside. 1 13900KF
Papusan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sum up for the weekend. Best tech news of 2026. China don't need or want anything from Nvidia. They are soon on par with the best you can get within a few months with own homebrewed AI accelerators for their server parks. Trump need to find other ways to fulfill billionairs hope for real tax cut. NVIDIA experiences a collapse in sales in China: market share will fall from 66% to 8% in 2026 We started 2026 with a host of new products that we saw at CES 2026, one of the world's most important technology events. There, we saw companies like Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD, and many others such as ASUS, MSI, and Samsung... Yup, never get rid of your backup-plan. NVIDIA confirms there will be no price increase for its graphics cards "for now" and denies GPU recalls: "All RTX 50 series cards are still in production." And the AI tech trend continue... What is a month without screw up from Microsoft. The latest Windows 11 update is causing performance issues on NVIDIA GeForce GPUs That's right, a new Windows 11 update, and another blunder, this time directly affecting gamers using an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. 1 "The Killer" ASUS Z790 Apex Encore | 14900KS | 4090 HOF + 20 other graphics cards | 32GB DDR5 | Be Quiet! Trump need to find other ways to fulfill billionairs hope for real tax cut. NVIDIA experiences a collapse in sales in China: market share will fall from 66% to 8% in 2026 As soon as China saw the "procedures" being enacted by the US government for AI hardware to ship to them , they balked and are slowly, but surely, turning to in house advancements on both the CPU and GPU front for the future. If they ever decide to invade and annex Taiwan they will become the front runner in technology pretty fast. There is a reason the US and other countries are all in diversifying production and fabs away from China and China adjacent. Those "procedures?" Well, Nvidia chips have to be shipped from Taiwan to the US, go through a series of validation steps over here and be assembled in the US before being shipped to China and 25% of the sales go right into the US government's pockets.....yeah I don't blame China for basically saying forget that and continue to use back channel ways of piping in same or similar hardware into their country. If China produces an ASIC specific computing device (as rumored) for AI that is more efficient and less expensive than using GPUs, the GPU market will crash harder than the Cryptobooooooom and I'm 100% here for it. Personally, removing China from their sales is a win for us and will start to bring Nvidia back down to reality and demand will plummet enough to offer more products to consumers but that really doesn't address the ram crisis as GPU, CPU or ASIC based AI will still require godsmackingly large amounts of ram for those ever growing LLMs.... 1 hour ago, Papusan said: NVIDIA confirms there will be no price increase for its graphics cards "for now" and denies GPU recalls: "All RTX 50 series cards are still in production." Producing 1 card a year is still technically "in production" 🤣 But seriously..... Nvidia is still providing the entire GPU / Memory package for now, so unless they decouple it they will most certainly be raising prices right along with AMD...... 1 hour ago, Papusan said: Corsair's stock has tanked. They are trying to redirect to that sweet, sweet AI money and downsizing their consumer division which they were most likely going to do anyhow. I don't think the market conditions (AI AI AI AI!!!!!!) is the problem for them. Their issues are elsewhere. I do think they view the AI market as their hail mary atm. 1 Electrosoft Alpha: 9800X3D | Asus X870E Hero Crosshair | MSI Vanguard RTX 5090 OC | AC LF II 420 | TG 2x24GB 8200 @ 2200/6400 tuned | Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB | EVGA 1600w P2 | Phanteks Ethroo Pro | Alienware AW3225QF 32" OLED Heath: i9-14900KS SP109 | EVGA CLC 280 | Asus Strix Z690 D4 | Gigabyte 9070XT Gaming OC Edition| 32GB DDR4 2x16GB B-Die 4000 | Samsung 980 1TB Pro | EVGA DG-77 | Samsung G7 32" 165hz 32" Alienware Area-51 18 | 275HX | Nvidia RTX 5070ti | 32GB DDR5 6400 |Gen 5 2TB | 18" QHD | WiFi 7
