Yeah, close but no cigar there. I would be inclined to pass on that. They ruined it with fixed hoses and putting them on the end like that was an extremely stupid idea that limits installation options. A poorly designed and very ugly product.

Gigabutt should have made it like this, only with an easily removable hybrid add-on.

My Gigabyte 2080Ti waterforce that was pulled from an eGPU box had nylon G1/4 fittings that could be unscrewed from the AIO block.

Awesome bro, congrats and enjoy! Now, I can see your case is exactly as wide as mine. How much clearance (if any) is left between cables and the side panel/door (with the card in 😉 )?

LOL funny u should ask, i actually JUST disassembled and removed the metal cable cover cuz it was already starting to uncomfortably squeeze in those psu cables. now i only have the side panel pushing them in but thats ok since no sharp edges. ill take another pic of the cable side for ya 😛

Cool, looking forward to the pic(s). For me it'd be even more annoying, as I would need to lose a 200mm side fan I love so much lol

BTW AFAIR you have the Supernova T2, so probably using the supplied 4-way adapter. As @johnksssmentioned earlier, a 3rd party PCIe 5 adapter would help, not that I could find any in stock...

Only good enough for 89 world ranking so far. Fastest I've been able to get my card to go so far is 3105Mhz and 1600Mhz memory offset. Of course I haven't tried higher on the memory yet. No idea how these guys are getting higher scores on it though since some have lower clockspeeds. Has to be some config I'll have to tweak when I get home from annual training (ughhhhhhh lol). After I'm done with recurrent I have 9 days off, so plenty of time to tinker and take delivery of the 13900K. The next 6 days need to go faster.

I’ve had an incredible offer on my Kingpin Hydro Copper 3090 waterblock. So, I was gonna sell them separately and also had a really great offer on my 3090 as a Hybrid 360mm. The guy kinda led me on though. And I got a little frustrated with even dealing with it.

Right now this 3090KP HC is essentially performing between a 4080 (12GB) and the 4080 (16GB) with a good OC and 1KW bios it is probably closer to the 4080 (16GB) model.

I am keeping it for now. So that’s that. 😎

I took a week off work just for the new platform. Going to assemble the 13900KF, Unify-X, DDR5 build. It takes days upon days upon days to tune new systems up lol. Really I had about 105 hours vacation time I am gonna lose soon. So, no better excuse than now.

I’ll have the 14th-25th off.

Man, it would have been great if I could have scooped up a RTX4090 too I didn’t really have a chance to get away, and no Microcenters near me. But that’s okay, I’ll be patient.

Also, yours is awesome! I actually like that chunky squared style of the Strix 4090.

As for low benchmark numbers, you need to download the NVinspector tool, and force Resizable bar. You have three options you must change. This will boost a port royal score for me by about 350-400 points alone.

Just google “NVinspector force rebar”

i got the Seasonic TX-1600 which comes with two 12VHPR 600W connectors, so no worries on using that stupid adapter. waaay easier to cable manage 🙂

Before plunging into nvinspector, would it not suffice to check if support is already enabled in NVIDIA CP, and then optionally follow further instructions re BIOS/vBIOS as per the below?

dude, jealous! wish i could just take like 2 weeks off to get the system up n running, check out my games and do some tweaking like 15 hours a day 😄 but instead, im heading to Mexico with the lady for our honeymoon, so cant complain too much ahaha. but until then i still have two weeks left where i can squeeze in some quality time with the new beast here and there...

anyways, here some more pics after gpu install:

iTNtAVc.jpg

hQBKghE.jpg

and geez, its SO freaking big (and yes, thats definitely what SHE said, as well! 🤣) i have a behemoth case, a huge AiO, E-ATX giant of a mobo and still, putting this GPU in suddenyl makes everything else looks normal sized or small LOL.

as you can see, the TX-1600 cable was super easy to route, doesnt really take much away from the tidy interior. just bothers me a bit that the connector goes towards the tempered glass side panel and not off to the side, i.e. towards the AiO. but in any case, i still have sufficient space so that its not pressing against the glass.

m7nzvxS.jpg

GPU sag was actually not that bad after install! i needed a level to actually determine if there was any sag and it was tiny. still, i dont want it to get worse with time so i used the gpu holder included with the X670E Extreme, quite handy with a strong magnet in its base so that it stays in place. the tip is rubberized so no scratches to the gpu. plus its small enough to be basically indiscernible behind the GPU power cable.

fdOGLMG.jpg

here the "other" side of the system as promised to bro @Etern4l. i marked the spot where the cable cover squeezed onto the psu cables with its sharp edge, it already left a tiny dent on the outermost insulation of the cables. nothing worrisome yet, as the insulation is still intact. but with time that would potentially become worse, so might as well just do away with the cover. side panel is good enough to keep everything in place.

wouldve loved to install my 2.5" SSDs in the front of the system, u can see right next to the AiO that there are plates with SSD mounting holes, unfortunately thats a no go cuz no space left between the rad and those plates. so that only leaves the backside with the cables to install the SSDs to....ugh.

on another note, see that blank area below the GPU? thats where a second ITX system would normally go, since the Enthoo Pro II is a dual system case. im planning to install a Raspberry Pi display in there at 10 inches and powered via USB so that I can put a sensor panel on it, kinda like shown here by JTC:

cant say it enough, that gpu is a CHONKYDONKDONK boi! cant wait to take it out for a spin 🙂

Unfortunately it’s not that easy. You can have it enabled in bios, and see that it is enabled in GPU-Z, or in your driver. But it won’t automatically run in all applications. 3DMark, Cyberpunk 2077, RDR2. Several games don’t actually use it unless you force it via NVinspector tool. It’s kinda like forcing V-Sync on or off in the Nvidia control panel. But re-bar is not an option in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Download NVinspector and enable these items.

Your benchmark numbers will shoot up. And your in-game FPS.

Just to clarify, I was mostly concerned with the left side of the chase (the one facing the top of the GPU), but with the Corsair cable there is enough clearance. Phew.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.  Great system and build. Enjoy!

@tps3443

Gotcha, so this is an extra step to enable Resizable BAR in some applications. Just surprised to see 3D Mark, and CP on the list - I guess in the latter case, it's probably just another bug har har

Nvidia RTX Titan Ada reportedly canceled after it melted PSUs, tripped breakers | TECHSPOT

Sound like something worth having based on the tripped breakers. I had to replace circuit breakers at my old house for benching the shunt modded 2080 Ti with the 2000W vBIOS and I had to replace a breaker for the 3090 KPE with the 1000W vBIOS when I moved to a new house. The original breakers lacked the capacity to handle the demand.

Just to clarify, I was mostly concerned with the left side of the chase (the one facing the top of the GPU), but with the Corsair cable there is enough clearance. Phew.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.  Great system and build. Enjoy!

@tps3443

Gotcha, so this is an extra step to enable Resizable BAR in some applications. Just surprised to see 3D Mark, and CP on the list - I guess in the latter case, it's probably just another bug har har

aaah ok, no worries then, misunderstood, but still got ur wish 🙂 and yes, plenty of space left, doesnt even touch the side glass panel.

The original breakers lacked the capacity to handle the demand.

haha why doesnt that surprise me that such reports of a gpu melting PSUs and tripping breakers would get your attention? 😄

If you want to spend the $4.99 you can pay for and download the newest 3DMark test Speed Way.

It is unfortunate that the Nazi censors and thought police made it to where you cannot run Speed Way on a system that isn't corrupted by the latest iteration of digital feces from the Redmond Retards. The DLC refuses to run on LTSC 2019. Apparently, they don't want anyone to have the opportunity to collect more evidence that the newer versions of Windows suck.

I'm pretty sure the cancelled Titan (at this moment)  is different than the 4090ti. Still hilarious. 🙂

This was on Videocardz dated the 12th in regards to a 4090ti so it's in the works:

In reality, that is how it should have always been. No way a XX90 should be paced by a XX80 card.

So as to your other question....so far it seems like 465W is max.

Yeap I'll gladly sit on my RTX 3090 Ti for the living room PC after seeing this performance. The 4090 is just in another league of it's own, it's unreal.

1070 beat barely the 980 Ti. This because of the huge uplift in performance with Pascal over Maxwell. And xx90 is here only to milk max and to keep AMD from taking the first place. + we now got a huge performance uplift again with Ada over Ampere.

I wonder where they will put in the Ti cards after they have pushed out the xx50-xx60 and xx70 cards. All is up to what AMD can do with their next gen cards.

LOL....it wouldn't matter if it was or not. You're going to just overcome anything and everything and extract wicked numbers out of it anyhow. We all know this. :icons8-right-facing-fist-100:

I don't know...the competition seems pretty tough at the top.😀

I got to say, Zotac might be my EVGA GPU replacement. I need to find out how horrible their warranty service is on the scale of pathetic alternatives to EVGA. This chintzy Zotac 3060 Twin Edge OC that I purchased brand new on Amazon for less than $400 to replace my malfunctioning 2080 Ti FTW3 has given me no reason for disappointment. I played 4 hours of Crysis Remastered last night with everything maxed out, including ray tracing, and the boost clocks held at max from room temperature to maximum steady state temperatures, thermals were good and it was excellent. Was it 150+ FPS like the 2080 Ti and 3090? Nope, but I never would have known it was 85-100 FPS but for the RTSS on-screen overlay telling me so. This was the cheapest 3060 I could find for sale and I can't find anything wrong with it, other than it is not a flagship GPU model. I would have wasted my money buying a more expensive brand. Even overclocked to 2125 core (+200) it doesn't lose clock speeds. It pegs the power limit and just stays there. Like all GPUs should.

Maybe I am too old school, but I prefer the straight lines, square corners, boxey-looking plain black parts over the swoopy curves and wavy lines, and weird colors, that are so popular with the kiddos. Some of the fancy gamerboy crap we see now is just so tacky and gaudy looking. While results do matter most, based on aesthetics I will choose classy over flashy any day.

I only grabbed this because it was there, but if I had a choice it would have been different. With that being said I do like how it looks though, even with it's size and lighting. The lighting is neither over bearing nor displeasing to the eyes and the soft edges are nice.

As to performance, these 4090's are definitely on a whole new level. I had to run a few test twice just to be sure that it was actually right. It's been a while since we had this type of turn around.

No leaks from the 3090 Kingpin Hydro Copper. I cleaned it up really well. It’s a little

tedious reassembling and getting the seal right. And the final test for leaks is essentially firing up your PC. But, I trusted it and it was good.

I used a heat gun to heat up the glue under the EVGA plastic branding so I could get to the hex screws for the terminal. It was pretty straight forward.

This benchmark is very disappointing in much the same way that Port Royal is. Just another crummy limited measurement  benchmark. Doesn't have any measurement of system performance apart from GPU. You could actually own a pathetic system with a powerful GPU and get a nice score. It's not even very interesting to watch. Since it is primarily focused on what seems to be an effort to be entertaining maybe having audio would have made It a little less pathetic. I guess probably the nicest thing I can say about it is that you don't have to be bored for as long as you do when running Port Royal. It seems like you just barely getting started and it's already over. I can't imagine a video card getting overheated it's so short.
