There is a performance problem like a VRel. gpu voltage issue in 3D applications and other another problems as pcie lines speed as panda_zzz says in a couple months ago when testing 4060. Fortunately i made water loop in my R2 because my ADLINK RTX5000 was generating some heat too much. But this gpu have even more high TDP i had to install more powerful water pump and now i have vram temp. a problem too. In one minutes i have over 100C right now, but Hot spot is around 92C and Gpu temp 84C in full throttle and ambient room temperature is 25C. It fitting perfectly in mxm slot ,but there is problem with x-bracket because there are some components like small ceramics condensators in the line for the standard x-bracket. I'll use 2-3 extra heatpipes. Connect all from the GPU1 heatsink to the GPU2 heatsink (empty slot) and have like 175W of heatroom. Hi Yes, I had this idea a few years ago as well, but I had a problem around the hinges, there are not much of space at this area. Can you explain what your solution is? I'll not run it on Alienware. It'll go on Clevo p570, had no issues with 4080 115W power limited thru Nvidia inspector. The 4090 I got is a 115W one and doesn't have any capacitors lying around the x-bracket's zone. The 4070 I have, doesn't have eDP. It doesn't work on M17X R4 and Clevo P570wm eDP displays. 4080/4090 have the connector present on the Nvidia control panel but they don't have eDP.
