solidus1983 Posted January 20, 2023 Author Posted January 20, 2023 @FrancoTecno Download This FILE, then extract the files over the files within c:\Audio\9452.1\ Then inside that folder will be a Launch.exe, run that and select APO3, let me know if that works. @kajdaniec looking at your DXDIAG its got AMD audio and then a USB Realtek Audio device so i am unable to add your ID's to my files. There is a thread over at Techpowerup that has USB All in One with any APO you want give that a try. JPRafael Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Hello there, I have an MSI GE62 6QD , and I've recently formatted my computer, After doing some basic setup I tried to install the most recent modded driver provided in this thread, I turned off secure boot and disabled any antivirus software, ran the executable and used the option APO3. However after the installation process I get greeted with a "Your device is not supported" message, I followed the troubleshooting step provided in the OP , uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but still got the same message. I don't know the reason, but 5 sound inputs appear. When I was using the old version this didn't happen. Note that I was already using a modded version dated two years ago with no problems at all. I leave the DxDiag for a better understanding of the problem. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you, DxDiag.txt
solidus1983 Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 More then likely the Device ID ```FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0899&SUBSYS_1462115A&REV_1000``` is not in the driver. I did redo the installer and Device ID's so might have missed your ID out. Update: Download https://mega.nz/file/mRsXTQgK#I51aMC4uUsrPPjsDYq7G6Fj7hhtsrXXklEFJJX_tTQw Then head to C:\Audio\9452.1 extract the contents of the zip into this directory, then run the launch.exe file. Select APO3 and see if it will work now if it does the next pack will have the device ID already included as i have saved it into the Device ID list. solidus1983 Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 So just to clarify only Nahimic 3 is throwing that error? Can you do a screen shot of device manager. JPRafael Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I'm sorry, I accidentally opened the installer via the downloaded executable instead of the executable in C:\Audio After I overwrote the files again, and launched the proper executable, nahamic now works properly ! Thank you so much for the help and sorry for the false-negative on my part. 1

MAPM1998 Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Hi. I've followed the past few responses, and I noticed also that my sound card ID doesn't appear on the file (I leave the DxDiag file from my computer). I have a MSI GE62 7RE. Can you confirm that my device ID isn't included and, if it isn't, can you add it to the rest of the devices? Thank you. DxDiag.txt

grskull Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 New Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.9475.1 UAD Nahimic driver APO 3 v3.5.0.0 (update to SWC v3.5.1.0/3.5.3.0/3.5.4.0) Nahimic driver APO 4 v4.9.6.0
grskull Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Hello! After installing the Nahimic APO 3 v3.5.3.0 driver, the sound in the headphones deteriorates and becomes muffled and with a very low amount of bass (this is clearly noticeable in the headphones). This problem always manifests itself after installing this driver version. This sound problem is reproduced both in the browser and in any player, as well as in other sound programs and games. The problem is not in the application, but in the conflict of the Nahimic APO 3 driver with the operating system. This problem can be temporarily fixed by disabling and enabling the "Enhance audio" parameter in the sound properties, but this works until the system restarts. I installed the outdated version 3.5.1.0 and there were no problems after restarting the laptop. Rebooted the laptop several times. Then I installed the latest version 3.5.3.0 and the problem manifested itself again after restarting the laptop. That is, the driver version 3.5.3.0 is not stable, and the driver version 3.5.1.0 is stable and serviceable. Does anyone have a similar problem?
solidus1983 Posted February 11, 2023 Author Posted February 11, 2023 @grskull Firstly welcome to the site and my thread. Also thank you for the links i will download them later. You seem the be an audiophile so have you tried the 3.5.4.0 APO3 if so does the issue you describe appear in that driver. I will take the 3.5.1.0 APO3 advisement if the 3.5.4.0 still shows the same issue i will make sure 3.5.1.0 will be the default moving forward. Normally i would of picked this up myself however my GT72 died so i am just continuing to make Modded builds but in a blind state so information like you have supplied is gold to me. {Main System:} The Beast Spoiler {Cooling:} Corsair H170i Elite {Mainboard:} Asrock X670E Pro {CPU/GPU:} AMD Ryzen R9 7900x3D / AMD RX 7900 XTX (Asrock Phantom) {RAM/Storage:} 2x 16GB DDR5 Corsair Vengeance 6400MT/s , 13TB WDD SN850X 2x4TB, 2x 2TB, 1x 1TB {PSU/Case:} Corsair RM 1000x V2, Corsair 7000D Airflow (Black) {OS:} Windows 11 Pro Realtek Nahimic 3 Modded Driver for MSI Systems:Latest
epguy3 Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 there once was a nahimic apo3 3.5.2.0 driver version (it was included in a few of mokichu's old unofficial asus drivers many months ago but he no longer keeps old versions of his drivers once he releases new versions) edit- fortunately, the driverpack.io site has a copy of the old nahimic APO3 3.5.2.0 version also, ask grskull here what Windows version is being used; Win10 or Win11 and which specific version {like Win10 22H2 or Win11 22H2} (or does the problem occur on both Win10 & Win11)
grskull Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 @epguy3, I have Windows 11 22h2 operating system installed. You can independently test on different operating systems for the test. I did a test for myself and the Nahimic support service answered my question about the problem like this: As APO3 is an older generation, our development team has some trouble to provide a fix on this one. Until then, I can give you a specific restore tool which embedded version 3.5.0 so you should be good.
epguy3 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I hate to say it but Win11 22H2 build 22621 has sort of been a buggy mess so far. maybe downgrade to Win11 21H2 build 22000 or either Win10 21H2 build 19044 or Win10 22H2 build 19045. I know this person doesn't recommend using nor upgrading to Win11 22H2 yet. and I guess that's why MSI was so reluctant to package new Nahimic APO3 3.x drivers as the problem seems to occur on certain MSI brand systems only, while the APO3 v3.5.3.0 driver works fine with no problems for non-MSI systems & is packaged for other name brand OEMs like Dell (for some of their Dell Alienware & G5/G7 laptop models; and I haven't heard nor seen complaints about the APO3 3.5.3.0/3.5.4.0 versions on Asus systems) 1
