Might even sell all my old spare parts to consolidate into a P870 chassis The CPU uses lanes—16 directly in the case of the 9900KS variant! Newer models use more. Additionally, the chipset generates even more lanes. This depends on the DMI speed. As mentioned, newer chipsets offer more lanes. The P870xx uses the same number of lanes for almost all model variants. In my opinion, the P870xx has enough lanes 🙂 1 1

The older Z370 and earlier models only support 16 lanes. A manufacturer like Clevo could have included automatic detection, but they didn’t. In any case, my board supports the full 16 lanes...which is probably what most people here want 🙂 the z170 has up to 20 pcie lanes . im not sure how many clevo implemented but clearly you got 16 going through the MXMs and im assuming no issues with nvme so probably has 20 lanes from the pch

Tested X-Vsion and it works. 4070, 4080 and 4090. ZRT's vbios for the 4090 is a fraud. It's just the same vbios as X-Vsion but it's Max-Q edition. The eDP is still set to disabled when we install the drivers.
