Paypal Friends & Family is awesome and I hope it becomes more accepted!!! I hate hate hate hate standard PayPal. I have a credit card with PayPal, so if I wanted to burn them I guess I could (That’d be pretty dumb, and I definitely won’t do that but still they should have a little faith in me), anyways, if I sell a wooden stick for $102 dollars they will hold my funds until the cows come home 🤣 and then, even after delivery confirmation they still won’t release the funds. They hold peoples money to gain interest maybe? I don’t know why they do this. But I hate their standard payment methods. I have all the cool PayPal stuff, pay after delivery, pay in 4, and even PayPal credit. Which all work amazingly and I love these features. But when I sell something, and receive a normal PayPal payment, I ship the item, tracking is uploaded, item is delivered, and yet I still have to always reach out to paypal to get a manual release which usually always ends in them telling me to kick rocks. My last ordeal was 7 days released after delivery, which I mean, whatever it is what it is. Oh, and I have sold a few thousand dollars worth of stuff in 2023. And they still do me this way lol. So I know exactly why some people just absolutely refuse normal PayPal. Because I feel the same way. It’s not because we wanna scam you, it’s because we hate PayPal 🤣 If the person is legit that is all that really matters.

@ryan RTX3080 for $400 bucks! https://www.overclock.net/threads/fs-rtx-3080-10gb-msi-ventus-3x.1809168/

If I was building a PC right now. I’d do everything possible to swing for a 14700K or 14900KF minimum just for longevity concerns and the APO features. You’d have a great processor for next 5 years minimum lol. No worrying about upgrading down the line. I wouldn’t look away from a 13900K/KS either though.
-
@ryan I have some parts I could pass on for free if you need them. PSU, some Intel 660P Gen3 512GB m.2 nvme drives, even some cases if you want to cover the shipping lol. I’d shop the hardest on CPU/GPU/Ram/Motherboard though. Me and my wife are in the process of buying our first house, and I have a closet full of clutter.

Alright! Thanks. So you have had 2 for 2 good motherboards working from Asus for 2023/2024 then? That’s good news at least. -

Wow. I want these ram sticks. That’s the good stuff for sure. How many sticks do you have of this stuff? -

I had a similar issue with losing USB devices. Turned out it was my PCH temps. I was not using any fans on my test bench, PCH idles about 59C, and in games or apps even hotter! It was hurting my memory overclock, and I was dropping USB devices. The Z790 Apex doesn’t have the best PCH cooling, but inside of a case it would be fine with even weak air flow. But with zero air flow it really heats up. After adding a fan and getting my PCH below 50C I saw a huge improvement to stability and no more dropped USB devices when playing BF2042 lol. -

Plenty of good Encores out there. I think mine just did not play well with that bios I was using. If I'm not mistaken, the very next bios Asus released improved them drastically which came right after I returned mine. My 14900KF is really nice so far. I have not delidded mine yet, I run it at 6.0P/4.8E. The P-cores and E-Cores are really just freakishly good man, this E-SP88 is more like a KS with E-SP105+ or something maybe even more. I remember the E-SP103 KS I tested (During the time I thought that E-SP103 KS was a GOD lol, and it was) but it could not run like this. IMC is also fantastic, I have stabilized 8533C36-49-49-49-34 with 262k tREFI for MEMTESTPRO. My ram kit is the G.Skill 8200c40 kit, and only one of my ram sticks will do 8600+ stable in a testing and pass at 100% or better, while the other stick is limited to 8500+ I really want to buy one of these binned ram kits from China that is guaranteed to run like 8600c36@1.500VDD. (This would be a dream) -

@ryan I’d carefully shop and buy the best parts you can. I fire sold my 13900KS for $375 lol. Anyways, you can find similar deals on other parts just like this. It takes time and searching constantly, but you can make that $1,500 really stretch to a Retail equivalent $2,000+ or maybe even more 🙂 -

Id grab one of those EVGA 1000GT’s with a EVGA coupon code. Pretty cheap and good enough unit! You may experience coil whine, or maybe not. But it will be 100% reliable. Unless there is another option better quality for cheaper. You can build a beast though man!!! Desktops are AWESOME. -

I would grab an Intel A770 100% for the GPU! And also a 14700K or 14900KF. The 14700K offers a tremendous value. It’s really a beast of a CPU and you’ll get the new APO support to help with all the frames you can get. If you’re building your own, you can probably squeeze a 14900KF in to the budget, grab some 7200 XMP sticks as well. Check this out below. Intel i9 14900KF MSI Z790 LGA1700 Motherboard G.Skill 2x16GB DDR5 7200 Intel A770 GPU 2TB Gen4 M.2 (Add PSU) (Add ATX Case) (Add AIO Cooler) TOTAL: $1,216 MSI budget motherboards are amazing simply put. G.Skill ram is also a solid choice for a stable and functioning XMP profiles from the get go. Gen4 M.2’s are worth the small expense over a Gen3 M.2. You more than double the speeds at a small extra cost. I do not think Gen5 M.2 is worth it at all lol. -

Gskill 8200’s are amazing @Mr. Fox you need some of these. I would buy from the same vendor too. There is 1 left in-stock. Mine have the same 302A IC’s as the G.Skill 8400 sticks. Mine were made 11/2023. -

No reason for not trying KLEVV really.. I just had amazing results with my Gskill 7200’s and I wanted to try the higher bin Gskill 48GB kit. I have more faith in G.Skill with the 2x24’s than any other XMP brand right now. And that assumption is correct again! G.Skill is legit awesome with the M-Die 🥰 I’m testing the new G.Skill 8200@1.350v (2x24) sticks. They are absolutely better than my G.Skill 7200’s. 100%! FINALLY!!! I ran a full stability test at stock XMP 8200 on air cooling with a fan, I managed to identify the best stick very quickly, I passed 105% coverage with full stability on XMP. And I put them both on chilled water with the best stick furthest away from CPU. testing 8400c36 with 1.500v so far with very satisfactory results 😁 -

Those Patriots are absolutely crap! They will run the stock XMP2, but at what cost? They have no head room at all. I tuned and tuned and tuned, and could not even get 8400c36 to pass stability. Which my own Gskill 7200’s easily manage this and some. I think the best rams available come at a price though. And such ram is your very own Gskill 8000 48gb kit which was originally like 500 dollars. They are very very good. Next up is the Gskill 8400 which is easily the best ram you can buy today. But it’s gonna cost you $399.99 dollars. I have talked to people who own them, those guys are running 8400c36 with like 1.43V VDD. My rams are at about 1.560V for such speeds lol. They are well binned and out of stock 99.9% of the time. My Gskill 8200’s will be here today though. I hope they are golden, but I’m okay with just middle road good too. I’m just after something slightly better than my 7200’s. I think Gskill is the only reputable XMP ram that is worth buying right now. Expensive for top dog, yes! But I had a gift card on Amazon, so I grabbed my Gskill 8200’s for $250.00 not including tax. -

BH Photo. @Mr. Fox I'm testing these for my buddy in Malaysia, he bought them and mailed here so I can mail to him. These are only available in the USA. They have screws on the heatspreaders for easy disassembly and they come apart super easy with normal thermal pads!!! And, no RGB lighting to get in the way. Last but not least, they are 8200c38 for a dirt cheap price that is unmatched lol. I actually went ahead and ordered me a set too. They will be here Monday or Tuesday. Also, after mounting that water block you sent me using (4) screws and proper mounting pressure, I ran mcsp for the 2nd time, and it said 89!! 😍 Since I am testing these on just air cooling for now, I’m limiting the tREFI to 65K. I’ll be the first to admit, they run okay on air cooling. 8400c36 with 1.560V VDD/VDDQ is 40C under a 100% stress. -

The strangest thing I have ever seen with a CPU. The tighter the timings, the easier to stabilize (Loose timings just don’t work).😄 Just started memory testing today, this is my first baseline 8400c36 with fully tuned timings. Gonna work on 8533 tomorrow, then hopefully 8600 after that. Just amazed that I stabilized 8400c36 using some 7200c36 2x48 G.Skill’s. How confusing DDR5 is. This IMC is super strong so far. -

The E-Cores on the 14900K are very very strong, probably one of the biggest improvements. It’s crazy what even just like low E-SP80’s can run on 14th gen. -
