Yeah, I really want it though! It’s a 2022 model with great memory overclocking and it’d be primarily for just cpu SP/VID checking. I PM’d the seller yesterday, no response. -

Does Hwbot block PM’s or replies to FS post if you don’t have very many post on your account? There is a Z690 Apex for sale but I do not see an option to respond to the post. I sent him a PM. But I’m not even sure he got it. Could someone message him for me? He has a 2022 Apex Z690 for $300 euros. -

I just purchased a brand new 13900KS from Antonline. $759.99 USD. I paid a small mark up to avoid ordering from Amazon. I feel like Amazon is a quick guarantee to get a silicon loser! 😁 We shall see how good a random sample is for a random retail 13900KS. Just in-case any of you change your mind, and decide to gamble on a retail KS too lol! I’m going to make a video about this start to finish. Ordering, delivery, unboxing, delidding, and testing! All while comparing this random (13900KS) to my P-SP121 (13900K) -

I was just saying that the 40-41K is definitely not stock for 13900K and considered outside of stock power spec for Intel spec sheet. Anymore than that 253 watt is not guaranteed under warranty. Especially due to degradation etc. These are fast and hot chips though, with lots of headroom. So we delid, then direct die, and push to 45K+ R23 which is about a 27-28% bump in performance over a truly “Stock” 13900K. You can degrade a 13900K very easily though. Make sure to avoid any long term extended stress testing. Especially if you’re over that 250+ watts. It is really bad for these chips. Quick runs are a non-issue though. We’re in a new realm of chips. Their power envelopes are pushed to the max. And we don’t do stability testing like in the old days with these 2-8 hours Prime 95. I certainly would not advise it. I would overclock or undervolt, and run through all of your apps and games. And if it works it works. If it’s not stable add voltage or reduce OC etc. -

You are correct, and I know they can score 41K while running 5.5Ghz ratios. But, that would be exceeding the max/default 253 watt turbo power TDP, which voids the Intel warranty as this is considered “Overclocking” With great power comes great performance. But it’s all still overclocking whether you are at 5.4Ghz all-core or not. -

People say overclocking your GPU doesn’t provide much of a real world boost. Well, here’s a free 20% bump “In-Game” over a standard 3090 FE 😂 -

Glad I’m not stability testing then. 😎 Just running a test for merely comparison between chips is all, nothing more nothing less. -

@Etern4l The 13900K scoring 40-41K is with overclocking and exceeding the stock power limits. -

@Mr. Fox I’m starting to question 13900KS chips my self. I’d say buy one, and it’ll probably be good a good chip! This one is really great, but there are still better chips than this than this one out there in the wild. I may grab one retail random 13900KS my self just to see. -

This chip is absolutely killer for sure. It does 6.0P/4.7E/5.2R with 1.250V in bios easily. Maybe can do less than that. -

These recent Intel chips are beastly, and refresh is gonna be interesting as well! Bad sample or good they are still really great. Especially for the money. But yeah I will usually buy what’s fast or makes sense. 4090 is super fast, but it doesn’t make sense lol. I wish this 13900KS was mine though, then I’d let you get my really really good 13900K. Either of these chips are just threw the roof amazing examples of 13th gen Intel. I’m with you though on silicon quality, I wish I didn’t care about it. But since that 11900K I got from you, I’ve made it a necessity to have a good chip. It’s really fun, and it’s nice have something that overclocks really well with low temps and efficiency so easily compared to others. But, to be honest if I could go back and not care about chip quality I’d do that in a minute. -

So, a little more information. This 13900KS chip belonged to Suzuki and someone bought it from him, then they sent it to me for delid and re-seal. This thing is a monster. Better than my 13900K even. I ran 5.8P/4.8E/5.1R with 1.195V in the bios and it laughed at me. 😭 -

Not sure, I’ll ask the owner of the chip. If I had to guess based on the global SP, probably like SP95-SP103 E-Cores. -

Been running a Supercool Gen13 on my P-SP121 13900K for a while now. It is the absolute best cooling you can ask for. Its direct die, it replaces the stock IHS with a jet plate with an acrylic top that screws directly on to the actual cpu. I am mounting the exact same thing to the 13900KS P-SP124 -

It is bare die, it’s getting re-sealed with a Supercool Gen 13. As for the Rockitcool copper IHS, those do not fit Thermalright frames. I have a small box of them lol. This 13900KS is P-SP124 My 13900K is P-SP121 -

I have a 13900KS to test out against my 13900K. It has some big shoes to fill. It’s not my chip. But it will fun seeing how it compares. I just finished delidding it. -

I’m thinking probably Nvidia RTX laptop users will stream Netflix/YouTube/other services on their laptop. With Edge or Chrome browser it’s going to upscale everything to 4K using GPU tensor cores. -

I just clicked on a random 1080P video to test. And the YouTube quality is AMAZING! 1080P is upscaled to 4K and it looks just absolutely amazing. That GPU power usage is kinda heavy though lol. At least the lower resolution videos will look better. -

Netflix basic is $6.99 Netflix 4K is $19.99 I know it’s not anything special, I just think it’s cool that our GPU will take an old 480P video and upscale it to 4K automatically, we don’t even realize it’s happening. -

So, Netflix charges extra for 4K. If you have their base 720P streaming plan, your GPU will convert it to 4K FSR free of charge if you’re using Edge or Chrome browser. And some YouTube videos are 1080P only, but also many streaming services too. -

Nvidia has a new driver that uses FSR! It automatically upscales 1080P streaming to 4K and leverages the power of your GPU using the Tensor cores! If you have Netflix that only streams 1080P, your Ampere or Love Lace GPU will convert it to beautiful quality! Or, if you’re watching a 1080P video on YouTube it will automatically upscale the image to 4K. This is pretty cool technology. How do you know it’s working? Well, that’s easy! Just listen out for the coil wine of my EVGA P1300+ PSU 🤣
