  1. I know it’s crazy how low the brightness is on these OLED’s TV’s and monitors. I cannot explain it other than just to try one, and you’ll see how acceptable it is. It’s so magnificent 😭 all of the light in this monitor is legit color and vividness. Plus, it’s so massive that’s all you see LOL. Man oh man. I have been seriously missing out. I’m done with small screens forever. I think 42-43” would probably be the smallest I ever go. OLED, or Mini-LED is all that’s acceptable from here on out. I wish everyone could experience this. The display looks like a colorful vivid poster in real life. Almost like you can touch the graphics. 🤷‍♂️
  2. The RTX3090 does best with 4K/DX12 and Raytracing running and any other intensive graphics enabled, the heavier the load the better it scales. I have just started playing all of my games in 4K since the new monitor, and I’m surprised to see how small the loss in performance is going from 2560x1440 to 3840x2160. So far 68-100FPS seems to be what I get regardless of the title. No 4090 by any means but definitely serviceable.
  3. That 7900XTX does well in Firestrike and Firestrike Extreme. I can't touch it. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i9-13900KS Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX (3dmark.com) This is my Speedway run. (First time ever running it, I just broke down and paid the $5 bucks lol) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i9-13900KS Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. 4. I’d buy a 3090 Kingpin Hybrid. You can find them for cheap like $700 maybe, 360MM AIO, and faster than 3090Ti FE right out of the box with no adjustments or overclocking applied.
  5. I always thought the 6950XT and even the RTX4070 did super well at like 1080P/1440P. But then when the high power 4K kicks in they kind of fizzle out.
  6. I’ll give it a run with my 13900 to see where it’s at. I have not run Firestrike in a very long time. One thing for sure, my GPU excels best under really heavy 4K loads lol. In this lighter 1080P stuff I get beat up by newer gen GPU’s
  7. The one on the bottom has a 13900K with DDR5 7200, that’s the only difference I see. But it has a 44% higher graphics score 😳 That really just doesn’t make sense to me.
  8. Why is your graphics score so much higher on the bottom screenshot?
  9. Here is the original. https://wallpapercave.com/w/wp7463261
  10. That pic could pass for a wallpaper, hard to believe I just took a picture of my monitor with my iPhone 13 Pro Max.🙂 I got mine on Newegg as refurbished for $480 plus the $6 dollar shipping. They increased the price a little now but it’s still $560 on there which is incredible for anything OLED and 48” inches of it. The picture quality is beyond insane, the first thing I notice is that response time. No blurring of the image when moving the mouse quickly in games, then just the massive size of the display with such vivid colors and inky blacks. I just can’t get over it. The monitor has set a benchmark the makes everything else in my home look sub standard. Mine was refurbished and I was worried about that, but it was delivered in one piece, and I can’t find any flaws with it. Just awesomeness. If you’re in Canada they may be more expensive, but even paying $1,000 bucks it’s a reasonable for what you get. (Even though that’s extremely expensive for a monitor, they are definitely worth what they cost new for $829 in the USA)
  11. Just a quick update this OLED panel menu under system says it has only 37 hours of actual on time. Working great so far. The picture is just unbelievable. I took a picture of my desktop wallpaper below. The speakers are phenomenal! They are a little too loud at volume of just 30%. And they are front facing at the bottom front bezel and facing you. Never had speakers this good in a monitor before This thing is almost too good to be true for $500 bucks. I’ll keep you guys updated.🧐.
  12. I’m ready!! This box was like 100lbs 😅 The monitor looked brand new to me and unused. It’s perfect! Very happy. Saturday delivery for $5.99 shipping, can’t beat that! What a deal this thing was. I can hook up my MacBook USB-C and it charges it and displays video signal/audio etc. And while my PC is hooked up, and it simultaneously pops between both devices on my display. With whichever mouse I move. 🤯
  13. So yes, I am ready for 4K gaming tomorrow when my new monitor arrives. I have my 7900XT equivalent right here. Only its a lot older. 😆 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i9-13900KS Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX (3dmark.com)
  14. Other people talking about Diablo really makes me want to try it just becuz, but I have never really liked games like that either, but at the same time I’ve never really tried them or given them a chance. Maybe I’ll give it a try. I really like first person or third person open world RPG games. I am extremely shallow when it comes to games lol. Better have some sweet graphics and physics or story for me to play it.
  15. That’s really impressive man!. I can’t wait to play in some 4K on a large screen. Your GPU also looks so efficient compared to mine.
  16. There is a Z790 Dark on overclock forums for $625. There is also a 13900KS for $600 shipped. (Unknown SP)
  17. Yes I bought the refurb model. When I bought it yesterday, it was actually only $480 dollars on newegg. They have been slowly bumping the price up. I could not let it go by, I ordered before I even read refurb. 🤣 Fingers crossed. PS: It has the vesa mounting on the rear. I really didn’t think $800 was bad at all, and. OLED panels are kind of expensive, just like Mini LED panels. You also have KVM switch built in so you can use two computers with the monitor simultaneously with Picture in Picture.
  18. You know if the new 4090 was labeled as “Titan” it would literally be $3,000 dollars lol. The “Titan” moniker drags around some big balls behind it 🤣 lol. Even if they aren’t drastically faster than the gamer GTX/RTX variant that ran 3-5% slower (Or some performed even slower lol). The word “Tiiiiiiitannnnnnnnn” “Oooooooooo ahhhhhh” magicallllllllll
  19. The 4080 Super looks good if it’s 20% faster for $1,199. The $1,999 4090 Super does not appeal for a 10% boost. Wouldnt this make the 4080 Super only about 10% slower than a normal 4090? Future GPU competition looks amazing!!! I’m ready to see the competition from Intel and AMD.
  20. This is probably the best deal in gaming monitors today for under $500. Mini-LED 27” super bright, 576 dimming zones, great monitors. It’s fantastic to see Mini-LED reach mainstreamish price range. https://www.newegg.com/p/3D4-007C-00010?Description=Mini LED 27”&cm_re=Mini_LED 27”-_-9SIBK6TJNR5469-_-Product
  21. Do you have any personal experience with OLED’s? I have never owned one besides my smartphones. I would prefer Mini LED. But I actually got the Aorus 48 for $550, so I could not pass it up!
  22. I just bought a new toy. My dream monitor. Aorus 48” OLED 120HZ Monitor. 🤯 I’ve held off on upgrading my GPU and decided to replace my monitor instead which is more useful to me than a faster GPU. I work from home 8 hours a day on my rig and I’m kind of tired of these dual 27” (2560x1440) panels. I keep hearing one single large 4K panel makes working within multiple apps a lot easier with it being all on the same screen. Plus, my 3090 Kingpin excels best at 4K resolutions anyways. https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824716003?item=N82E16824716003&source=region&nm_mc=knc-googleadwords-pc&cm_mmc=knc-googleadwords-pc-_-pla-_-gaming+monitors-_-N82E16824716003&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid+shopping&utm_campaign=knc-googleadwords-pc-_-pla-_-gaming+monitors-_-N82E16824716003&id0=Google&id1=19482411089&id2=153453153308&id3=&id4=&id5=pla-1445639081205&id6=&id7=9009661&id8=&id9=g&id10=c&id11=&id12=EAIaIQobChMI9KWE25qy_wIVJCfUAR3dgwKnEAQYAyABEgJRffD_BwE&id13=&id14=Y&id15=&id16=643825081351&id17=&id18=&id19=&id20=&id21=pla&id22=8438988&id23=online&id24=N82E16824716003&id25=US&id26=1445639081205&id27=Y&id28=&id29=&id30=3770041879072566394&id31=en&id32=&id33=&id34=&gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9KWE25qy_wIVJCfUAR3dgwKnEAQYAyABEgJRffD_BwE
  23. The video @electrosoft posted above was made before the HOF 4090 existed, so the 4090 SG was the world record holder at the time. I think the KFA2 4080 SG still is. Unless of course the HOF 4080 wiped it out, I wouldn’t be surprised lol. I’d love to have a HOF 4080/4090.
  24. That’s really interesting. I thought their Galax KFA2 4090SG, and even the KFA2 4080 SG were both the record holder before the HOF models were introduced of course. I see the Strix is #4 on your list, but doesn’t everyone say they suck? I’m so confused. 😭
  25. I think I’m gonna grab one of these. Anyone have one? This is the basic KFA2 Galax SG 4090. But it looks beautiful! And for $1,649.99 that’s really a nice GPU in stock 2 day shipping! 450 watt TGP, and 2580Mhz boost. Looks like it has some sort of vapor chamber cooler that will work alright considering. I may even just leave it on the stock air cooler and let me cpu and ram be waterchilled only. The chiller would certainly run a lot less lol. Yay nay? https://www.amazon.com/Galax-GeForce-1-Click-Feature-Graphics/dp/B0BWNFZJNZ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?hvadid=568647870446&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9010024&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=16276173527777476158&hvtargid=kwd-1429632458579&hydadcr=22535_11318315&keywords=geforce+rtx+4090&qid=1685727115&sr=8-1-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.17f26c18-b61b-4ce9-8a28-de351f41cffb&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyNUVZMDlZVDVQS09HJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjExOTE4MVk4WDVZVzhHNVNIMCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTc5NjY4MVlCQ0JVQkIxWkwxUyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
