  1. Crampons (not the shoes) I went hiking up Mount Fuji yesterday with 2 friends who got me into mountain hiking. It is currently out of season (by 1 week) as weather could turn nasty at any moment. Fortunately I didn't need the crampons, but had to have them just in case. The weather did turn windy but no snow. 3770 metres and a tick on my bucket list

  4. Thats exactly how I feel! I did a survey for GOG a while ago and said that without a demo version I don't buy a game just on the trailer. I want to test game play. I think demos went away with magazine (hardcopy) cds
  5. Not really sure where to post this. Maybe need a retro section.....anyway You can get a new C64 mini ITX case (for PC I mean) or a C64/Linux PC......um. Not sold on it.
  6. I go the opposite way. Borrow a game I "might" like from my friend with an eyepatch....If Im still enjoying playing after a couple of days I buy it.

  11. Telltale games - Walking dead? I really enjoyed that. First saw it on my sons Xbox, then I bought it on PC. I didnt like the Michonne game much
  12. I do sometimes play BSG deadlock (Space combat like world of Warships) but most games have just lost their appeal.....Ghost of Tsushima is one of a very select few that caught my attention.
  13. Public Image Inc. - The Order of Death Great low budget 90's sci-fi movie. Music is a little repetitious but reminds me of the early Amiga days listening to midi soundtracks.....
  14. Sorry @ryan I really don't know. I just stumbled onto this stuff.....but it is terrifingly good and just seems to keep getting better. Soon you will have to do some serious software analysis to figure real and fake!

  16. Your Right. I just had another look to check and I sorta thought they all smile like in a TV commercial (fake)....but yeah, its creepy!
  17. I used to use toothpaste to try get rid of scratches...the kind with baking soda not the gel (on the cheap). Also to clean outside use 00 grade steel wool and water...the really fine stuff that rusts after 1 use not the swarf looking stuff and inside the car, news paper with windex and then pure alcohol yes ok NOT this one
