    Finally have my system setup the way I like with all my games ill never play lol. its nice having a finished system but changing settings ect is half the fun. cpu is performing well with cooler gpu is meh. heres my stock performance with temps never breaking 71c

    sorry bro I was away for a bit, but yes I checked out geforce now and back in the day it was good, now its good enough if someone has gamers itch they can game on any laptop and have a great experience. it still has slight lag but its not a deal breaker for most games only in FPS twitch shooters like counterstrike. I was actually thinking, I don't game a whole lot and if I want to game I'd be better off just using geforce now sporadically. depressing that the hobby of benchmarking laptops is on its last leg and almost over

    Most gamers are still the baby boomers, and the games are often times still be made by older generation. As for gamer kids, yes they want the best bling first and quality last. Also quick question, don't get mad haha but is anyone suing cablemod? like how do they explain it to a upset customer without being taken to court.

    thanks for clearing that up. back a few years ago I really liked RGB because it was different and not so common, a nice change from white lights. now with everything including mouse pads being RGPuke I honestly think its pretty cool having the option of perkey rgb and just using white leds. I like options but Im not going full pink anytime soon. I think it's a little different with desktops have rgb to show off your setup but I think if it was all white lights it would look cleaner. I am still thinking of getting a desktop just not sure if it's a smart idea going the enthusiast route like a 4090 i9 ect. back in the day I was going to buy a refurbished desktop with like a i7 4770kf and just buy ram/gpu/ssd and call it a day but with the recent drops in laptop pricing(refurbished) its a hard sell unless I go full on. I saw a 3070ti laptop for 1200 cad at best buy and I was comparing it to a desktop 3060ti and the desktop in the end is more expensive. really just wish OEMS would lower the prices further and people would stop pricing their 5 yearold desktops like they are just openbox

    haha I bought a rgb keyboard but all I want is white lights. thanks for the advice gentleman, just installed openRGB. works like a charm and no crapola was installed. Side note I can't wait to get a desktop and good monitor like your guys setup. I really appreciate the help though I was not expecting a response back as its so far off topic. edit woah bricked??? is it safe for a asus keyboard?

    just booted it up and checked it out up close. looks worse than FM7. why would microsoft make people wait 7 years for a worse product

    I have an asus keyboard, when I first got it it only installed bare minimum software and worked, now it installs chinese malware and like 5 erroneous apps and doesnt work. no idea why

    little late but I just watched @Mr. Foxs video of bf 2042. 180fps at 4k is bonkers. i think id be happy with 60fps right now im into forza 8 getting 30/4k feels ok and looks like the first truely next gen game and its free on game pass to boot. it feels next gen stress test wise because it actually has a use for 6ghz 20 cores. @tps3443i wonder what fps you would get

    after reading this threads posts. I saw a galaxybook2 pro for 900 cad at bestbuy and was very close to purchasing one, I think the battery life and oled display mixed with lite weight and good build quality more than covers the cost of the laptop. I will likely still end up buying one, I look forwards to having it as a couch surfing laptop.

    if your thinking of buying a laptop and need something that is budget friendly and has marathon endurance and reliability the omen 16 cannot be topped. I have been running max fans for 2 years non stop and the laptop on full power with a 140w bios for the 115w part and have had 0 issues, this thing is sur real. \I was expecting it to die after 2 years but it just keeps on ticking, with normal usage you can expect this laptop to last 5 plus years which is more than enough for most people as for max power modded ect like I say im on year 2 of torturing my omen and no signs of it giving up. highly recommend.

    looks like ill be buying a quest 3, this time its actually an upgrade vs downgrade. looks pretty slick although it would have been great if it had eye tracking. if I dont get it I guess ill get something like a deck for my mini van

    quest 3 is out. Getting great reviews looks like the 30 percent bump in resolution over quest 2 as well as the improved lenses is stirring things up

    well said. Id like to say a member here on nbr has played for 85hours and still has alot to do, this game is long and pretty special. I look forwards to getting back into it but forza has my attention for the time being

    graphically its good, i dont see games looking any better in the next few years. overall its ok. disappointing

    sorry for the late reply, I'll check that out THANKS 🙂 I'm pretty close to full on switch to linux as im growing tired of all the spycrap on windows, I've managed to rid the virus but a few remnants remain

    I saw a recent news headline saying they might go ahead and charge a monthly fee. who really knows what they are thinking, it wouldn't be circling around if there wasnt a tiny bit of truth. I personally will ditch windows if they do that and im the average consumer. linux is tempting. haven't heard much else. 😞

    @Papusan can you change your addy to THE MAN. lol. you rock, iv'e been preaching this for a long time newer is always better and finally the truth is gaining traction. haha. @serpro69 did you hear windows 12 might be subscription based? @Mr. Fox I heard in the forum somewhere probably the benchmark thread you got a 4k monitor how is it? does your 6900xt or 4090 sweat in games? sorry for not knowing I come and go alot and sometimes miss the odd posts.

    I was going to buy connect, but my car insurance and other things happened this morning lol worst timing ever. happened when I wanted a NUC or a chrome book. bought a tablet and unexpected things arised and had to take back the tablet. real pain. but on friday ill get connect and check it out looks gorgeous. I love it when games look great and perform well its satisfying benchmarking them and if the game is fun playing it.

    Yeah I agree, Im a sucker for the latest and greatest. As for OSs I think if windows 12 is paycloud...I will be going with linux not sure what version but I will have too learn it and hopefully the loss in performance while gaming isn't too big going from windows 10 to linux. Or just give up completely and go the chrome route and forget about PC gaming period

    I don't know times have changed, games for windows live I thought was dead, I just boot up the game and rockstars login and im good to go, as for drm pretty much every good game is drm. times like I say have changed, at first it was just a few games but now its basically every game. I don't like it either and find it frustrating but look at what everyones saying about windows 12, @Etern4l called it first, it will be subscription based you will have to pay for OSs per month much like netflix. I don't like it but it's the future
