    I hate to say it but Win11 22H2 build 22621 has sort of been a buggy mess so far. maybe downgrade to Win11 21H2 build 22000 or either Win10 21H2 build 19044 or Win10 22H2 build 19045. I know this person doesn't recommend using nor upgrading to Win11 22H2 yet. and I guess that's why MSI was so reluctant to package new Nahimic APO3 3.x drivers as the problem seems to occur on certain MSI brand systems only, while the APO3 v3.5.3.0 driver works fine with no problems for non-MSI systems & is packaged for other name brand OEMs like Dell (for some of their Dell Alienware & G5/G7 laptop models; and I haven't heard nor seen complaints about the APO3 3.5.3.0/3.5.4.0 versions on Asus systems)

    there once was a nahimic apo3 3.5.2.0 driver version (it was included in a few of mokichu's old unofficial asus drivers many months ago but he no longer keeps old versions of his drivers once he releases new versions) edit- fortunately, the driverpack.io site has a copy of the old nahimic APO3 3.5.2.0 version also, ask grskull here what Windows version is being used; Win10 or Win11 and which specific version {like Win10 22H2 or Win11 22H2} (or does the problem occur on both Win10 & Win11)

    I was NOT kidding about this - MSI had recently been posting new Realtek audio drivers in bunches v6.0.9459.1 recently released for certain MSI Cyborg 15 A12V/A13V series laptops, along with a Nahimic APO4 4.9.6.0 SWC driver package. dang you're so effin' behind on that one with 9030.1. there was a 6.0.9231.1 driver for your ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 board, Tiki. heck, there's even a 6.0.9448.1 uad nahimic driver package from ASRock, even though it's not specifically listed for your board; the 9448 driver should work on there. ASRock, however, hasn't offered a newer Nahimic utility version for your board (geez they're kinda lazy since that 1.4.15 version is so outdated and has a really old version of the Nahimic APO3 SWC driver) try these newer Nahimic utility downloads from ASRock (download 1) (download 2) -Nahimic uwp app bundled is 1.8.9 and also includes the Nahimic APO3 SWC driver package. and if a newer Nahimic APO3 SWC & extension driver is needed, download & run this ASRock Nahmic APO3 driver package. (has SWC 3.5.0.0 and ASRock Nahimic extension 1.2.2.0 driver)

    maybe just do the slightly older 6.0.9448.1 version since it was released about the same time as the 6.0.9452.1 version and forget the other ones

    oh well, happy new year 2023, solidus1983. Now the MSI web site in the 1st week of 2023 has a bunch of new 13th gen intel based MSI laptops listed (including a new "Cyborg" series) there were also 6.0.9430.1, 6.0.9433.1, 6.0.9437.1, 6.0.9448.1 & 6.0.9452.1 realtek audio drivers available specific of these new MSI laptop pcs and have also released new Nahimic APO4 SWC 4.9.4 drivers , one of them which includes the nahimic 1.5.0.0 extension apo4 driver and another APO4 4.9.4 driver package that includes nahimic 1.5.2.0 extension driver. it's almost a "storm" of new drivers from MSI after about more than 3 months of nuthin' from MSI since the 9414 driver version edit 1/6

    AHH SHOOT! 😠 I nearly forgot about this Nahimic APO4 driver pack from MSI (labeled as 2.27.0 but has the older APO4 SWC 4.8.4.0 driver and includes the newer Nahimic 1.3.9.0 extension driver for APO4 & newer Nahimic Mirroring 2.0.2.0 driver)

    guess MSI decided to release a new Realtek UAD/DCH driver right before the New Year's 2023 holiday - realtek_audio_R.zip package recently updated to 6.0.9452.1. I did not expect this from MSI sooner rather than later. so I kinda take back most of my statements from my previous post. also, get the latest realtek audio console uwp app from pal1000 (latest one he has is v1.41.289.0)

    nah i don't think so. latest realtek uad/dch driver from MSI so far is 6.0.9414.1 released late Sept. 2022. there probably won't be any new ones until maybe in either January or February 2023 (when some new 13th gen Intel based MSI laptops are announced then) or if & when they release them for new generation Modern/PRO desktop PCs

    so do I. have both winrar & 7zip installed on my bedroom pc (7zip got an update in mid July 2022; winrar got recent 6.20 beta 3 on the rarlab.com site) I use winrar to create/edit rar files while I use 7zip to create/edit 7z & zip files

    A-volute Nahimic APO4 4.9.4.0 SWC driver on MS Update Catalog (released around late November 2022) also Nahimic UWP app updated to 1.9.16.0 from MS store (at least I got the updated appxbundle file from the store rg adguard net site)

    i'm several months late in responding to this but the closest thing that may fit those specs (esp. the mx350 graphics) is an MSI Modern 14 B10RBSW, which is at least a few years old (maybe a late 2020 model)

    the A-volute Nahimic APO3 3.5.3.0 SWC driver is finally available from MS Catalog (so effin' late by either the Nahimic creator to submit it to MS or MS somehow made it available early on to Windows Update but not on MS Update Catalog until much later) since Tue. Nov. 8 not just Clevo. even Lenovo (with some of their "Legion" series desktop & laptop PCs) as well as HONOR/Huawei, Medion, Thunderobot and on a few Tongfang Mechrevo laptops have Nahimic on them (most of these use Nahimic APO4 though) edit - I don't see Gigabyte on the list of Nahimic partners on the Steelseries Nahimic page as Gigabyte isn't using it anymore on 12th gen intel or newer laptops

    here's the link to the updated A-volute Nahimic APO3 & APO4 SWC drivers (APO3 v3.5.3.0 & APO4 v4.9.1.0) I decided to pack them into one zip file [APO4 4.9.1.0 became available on MS Update in early October while I found the APO3 3.5.3.0 SWC driver packaged in one of the recent Realtek USB audio driver packs released from Asus for newly released ROG B650 motherboards] on a different note, sometimes I wish I had found this Reddit topic sooner better late than never I guess

    unfortunately I won't be able to put them into one zip package due to MY busy schedule. here's the direct link to the Nahimic APO4 SWC 4.8.6.0 cab download from Microsoft. and the direct link to the Nahimic Mirroring 2.0.1.0 cab download from Microsoft. if you weren't able to make a modded 6.0.9388.1 driver by now, that's ok. abandon or drop plans for that version and concentrate on making a modded 6.0.9414.1 version instead after MSI updated the realtek_audio_R.zip package on Tuesday Sept. 27 to 6.0.9414.1. (after the recent announcements of new MSI desktop boards featuring Intel Z790 & AMD X670 chipsets) edit - MSI has not been updating the realtek_audio_N_APO3 & realtek_audio_N_APO4 zip packages since mid-April 2022 and still contain the outdated 6.0.9336.1 driver version along with outdated Nahimic APO3 & APO4 components (hmm, has MSI been kinda lazy only updating just the realtek_audio_R package but not the other ones that bundle Nahimic?)

    looks like MSI did release a new realtek audio driver in mid-September 2022 v6.0.9388.1 > for a certain 12th gen intel based MSI PRO desktop pc; should also work on some modern MSI laptops & desktop motherboards as well and the Nahimic APO4 SWC driver will need to be updated as well - to either 4.8.2.0 or 4.8.6.0 from Microsoft MSI still has the outdated 4.8.1 package but has updated 1.3.8.0 extension driver included (haven't seen 4.8.2 or newer from MSI) btw, Windows 11 22H2 (aka. the 2022 update) recently came out on Tue. Sept. 20 also, some of Mokichu's Asus + SS3 (sonic studio 3) based recent Realtek audio drivers include Nahimic APO3 SWC driver v3.5.2.0. won't find that new APO3 driver version anywhere else edit 9/22

    that's ok. take your time. I don't see MSI releasing another newer realtek audio driver version until maybe next month. btw, here was the direct link to that 6.0.9381.1 driver from MSI - apparently released for a new MSI Bravo 15 B5E laptop; took me a few weeks to find out MSI mentioned a new laptop model for the Bravo series

    no such experience on my old HP pavilion computer running Win10 LTSC 2021 as it now offers the August 2022 updates like KB5016616 and not the older July preview update like KB5015878, GeekBear80 some "telemetry" stuff turned off and automatic windows updates disabled and I only manually check for updates using either wumgr or windows update minitool (WUMT) moving on, here's one of those updates in August 2022 that's causing some problems for both Win10 & Win11 - KB5012170 Windows KB5012170 update causing BitLocker recovery screens, boot issues - Bleepingcomputer will temporarily hide/block this KB5012170 update for a while from installing using wumgr or wumt

    guys: check in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc), expand the Sound, video and game controllers section, click on Realtek(R) Audio to view its properties and check the driver version that is currently installed on there. the provided Realtek audio driver for Clevo X170KM-G (v6.0.9225.1) just doesn't quite have great sound quality folks. audio driver versions from 6.0.9225.1 to 6.0.9235.1 are mediocre at best. at least v6.0.9238.1 & some greater versions have improved sound quality. perhaps try these Realtek audio driver versions on the X170KM-G laptop: v6.0.9285.1, v6.0.9297.1 or v6.0.9319.1 or even v6.0.9357.1 and forget about that 09_SBX folder - that has outdated Creative Audio Effects component driver (I think it's version 2.1.1.0). get a newer version of that (like v2.1.10.0) from here. also, use wushowhide.diagcab, wumgr or WUMT (windows update minitool) to hide/block driver updates from Microsoft. don't use Win10/Win11 without any or all of these 3rd party update tools.

    awww ok. just saw this unexpectedly from the Station Drivers site a while ago this THU 8/11 - v6.0.9381.1 UAD MSI driver. seems to be for recent MSI laptops (i'm not sure which ones)

    at long last, MSI finally updated the realtek hd audio univseral driver for some recent MSI desktop motherboards to a new version since mid-April (about 3 months since) - it's now at 6.0.9363.1 also, Nahimic UWP app from MS store was updated to 1.9.9 and Nahimic support has only info about Nahimic 3 as they removed info about installing Nahimic 2 (non-uwp) as that one is discontinued and only support Nahimic 3.x (uwp)

    whoops. looks like I spoke too soon, solidus1983. there was a new Realtek audio driver (a slightly new version though) - 6.0.9338.1 - released for brand new MSI Raider GE67/GE77 HX laptops

    speaking of the old 6.0.9175.1 driver, MSI still has that version available from here. so far, MSI hasn't released any newer Realtek audio drivers than 9336, not even for the newly released MSI Titan GT77 laptops in which MSI released a 6.0.9334.1 driver version for that one
