Hi, system is going fine. Wasn't brave enough to remove the fans but don't need to as temps are fine, removed excess dust and make sure the anti dust fans are on. Left the current BIOS as it is.

Is it worth upgrading the BIOS? I'm currently on 1.07.03 is 1.07.04RTR1 required or useful?

Ah yes I've had that setting turned off, now turned back on. Had excess dust on the grills.

Wanted to buy the MSI GE76 which has a 12600H/QHD display and 3070ti and it was discounted down to around £2300 but couldn't justify the upgrade over my current laptop which is the X170SM with 10700/FHD and 2080 Super 200w.

Yay happy outcome. I'm been lucky selling laptops on NBR and touch wood always made it to their new owners in UK or Europe.

Apologies according to XMG they will remove the German tax so you will pay the net and then you will pay UK tax when you receive it which was clarified from XMG themselves on Reddit.

Found out that if you order via XMG they will not include VAT so that will be 20% on top of its price and that's pretty expensive!

Currys is the highest spec 4k display, i9 and 3080 but of course cost over 3k and for sub 3k Scan/Overclockers with FHD and i7. Alternatives seem to be X17 from Dell. What do you guys recommend and I would be coming from a 2080 Super DTR laptop? Just seeing what is out there or just wait for QHD ones with 3070Ti?
