But why reduce prices at all if they can't produce enough cards? That's stupid if you work hard to try fulfill their shareholder wishes for max profits. -

Nvidia will determine their prices out from what they think gain themself (greed). Would you reduce prices if you wasn't forced to do so? What was the reason for this? Because they thought the prices was too high?🙂 NVIDIA RTX 4090 FE Receives a 7% Price Drop in Europe Since Launch, 4080 By Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 03/15/2023 07:03 PM According to Cowcotland, NVIDIA has recently reduced the price of their flagship RTX 4090 Founders Edition (FE) GPU by €40, bringing it down from €1859 to €1819. The card was initially listed for €1949 in the European Union. Read more I see. Regarding support for graphics cards... No one is interested in older cards even if they still have driver support. Only new will provide profits. I just sit and wait for the kill-switch for Turing and Ampere. -

Do you have another machine than the one with EVGA motherboard? Should work with Asus board... And maybe Gpu firmware that play well with Win 7 Edit. Is this a Joke from EVGA? https://www.overclock.net/threads/official-nvidia-rtx-4090-owners-club.1800847/post-29157300 Near 5 months after Nvidia released 4090 and they still haven't made 12VHPWR cable adapters for 4000 series Nvidia graphics. This has to be a joke or they don't bother invest money in it. And they said they would put more work into their other gears after they jumped of the GPU train. -

I rather think Nvidia want to have it all. If you don't want to pay or have the money then go with Geforce Now or buy older used card so the seller can buy new from Nvidia at overprice 🙂 Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be one of Nvidia's biggest income generators, according to the latest TrendForce(opens in new tab) projection. The research firm estimates that OpenAI's ChatGPT will eventually need over 30,000 Nvidia graphics cards. Thankfully, gamers have nothing to be concerned about, as ChatGPT won't touch the best graphics cards for gaming but rather tap into Nvidia's compute accelerators, such as the A100. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/chatgpt-nvidia-30000-gpus -

@Mr. Fox It seems I bricked my 980 Kingpin. Flashed the XOC vbios found here in the folder EVGA 980 CLASSIFIED K|NGP|N EDITION TOOLS From the folder As usual I disabled the driver in device manager. Made a folder in C:/kingpin and put in the XOC bios and put in the nvflash files. Run CMD as adm.... cd c:\kingpin Next... nvflash -6 kp980x.rom Y for everything and got confirmed the reboot. I rebooted and got a nice black screen 🙂 I have a small card I can boot with. Have done this before but now forgot the procedure. Edit. I installed a smaller card in second slot. Booted up and looked into GPU-Z and found the GTX980 still there but with the same old stock vbios. Went into device manager and enabled the Kingpin card. Then shut down the machine. Turned of the on/off switch and the AC plug. Swapped the HDMI cable over to the 980 kingpin and booted up again. There I also got confirmed that the Kingpin card worked but with same old vBios. Hmmmm Maybe I need protect off? Nothing in the guide say this. More like this next time...? Same folder in C:/kingpin with the XOC bios and the nvflash files. Run CMD as adm.... cd c:\kingpin Next... nvflash --protectoff then Enter Next... nvflash -6 kp980x.rom then Enter And is it better to shut down instead for reboot? Shut down and then turn of the on/off switch and AC cable. Then connect power and boot up again? -

Yep, a whole video is too much 🙂 I pick what I want to see and skip the rest. RTX 4070 Pricing Leak: Nvidia's INSANE Pricing Continues... moore's law is dead. If this is correct... The 4090 makes more and more sense as the only option from 4000 series graphics cards. Nvidia is on the way to be perverse. This is just Disgusting! $749,99 taste on this. I hope this is very very wrong. Because it's very wrong charge this much for a xx70 card. Nvidia RTX 3070 was $499. -

Nvidia haven't cards that is very appealing to the gamer kids that want most possible aRGB, fancy backplate and bling bling in their small cute flashy boxes. The FE cards is more appealing to the older gamers/consumers. And nvidia still haven't Stores everywhere. Probably due older written agreements with retail and AIC partners around the world. But be you sure... They will put more weight into their own Stores forwards. They have already done that in Scandinavia. More regions will come after. Not so sure the fancy GPU design from the Gamers Nexus review is very appealing to bro @Mr. Fox😅 See also... NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Reviews To Focus On MSRP & Premium Variants Individually, Launches 13th April By splitting the embargo this way, NVIDIA will essentially promote cheaper custom models instead of the factory-overclocked designs which are typically pricier. On the other hand, it doesn’t really make sense to split the embargo by a whole day because barely anyone will have a chance to read the reviews of non-MSRP cards just as they hit the shelves. NVIDIA will officially announce the GeForce RTX 4070 on April 12th, which is also the review embargo for all RTX 4070 cards to be offered at MSRP. The non-MSRP model tests will be published on April 13th, the same day the card officially launches. I would love see him running Win 7 with the card. Not only for benching🙂 Also for the overpriced 4080 the AIC partners created many of their cards with worse specs than the vanilla 4080FE. Cost cutting all over the place. Once Nvidia boost up their stock of cards and improve their Stores they can easly get rid of all of their AIC parners. Pay the same and get less is a bad deal. -

Also watch out on Microsofts new low below. They continue improve their fantastic OS and features. I just love the way Microsoft do things. But I and you bro @Mr. Foxalready know this. Yet another reason get rid of Windows Defender. One of many. Whats next? Use the GPU for Telemetry and Data harvesting? Oh' nope... They already do that😎 Interesting video. 75% of the 4090 is worse made than the 4090 FE from Nvidia. Yep, you can get a decent o'clocker (the lottery is real) but getting a worse cards with cheaper and fewer components on the PCB for same high MSRP or above than the vanilla 4090 from nvidia is pretty sad. The AIB partner kill themsel with this cheapo move. They don't need help from Nvidia to get rid of themself as a graphics card manufacturer. They are fully able to do it themselves. https://hwbot.org/submission/5226152_papusan_3dmark___time_spy_extreme_geforce_rtx_4090_20324_marks Nice results bro Fox 🙂 Does the 6900XT grow on you? -

A good advice. Remember blacklist the exe in the outgoing rules for your firewall. Always try do that if you bought software keys in the grey market 🙂 Intel recommends “4 Spring” 12VHPWR power plug instead “3 Dimple” design videocardz.com This is bad news for those that prefer Nvidia. This just show that AMD don't want to compete and Nvidia can continue to charge over-price for their gaming flagship. They can do that, because there is no competition in high-end. So in short... This is rally sad news for both the nvidia and the AMD fanboys. -

Here is another Joke from AMD... The flagship AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX fell short of GeForce RTX 4090 performance tweaktown.com The duo notes that it would have been possible to release a Radeon RX 7000 GPU with specs and performance that could compete with NVIDIA on the high-end, but this would push power to the 600W region. Not to mention raise the price to similar RTX 4090-like levels of USD 1600. "We have chosen not to adopt such a strategy after considering whether it will be accepted by ordinary PC gaming fans," AMD's Rick Bergman says. "We are focusing on GPUs that balance performance and cost" and fit within the $1000 class," AMD's Rick Bergman adds. In short... AMD are focusing on costs. In better words.... Maximizing profits!! How can they know what the gamers want? Have they asked them? Maybe our old friend Frank Azor, told AMD shareholders what the gamers want? He should know.... Because he is the Chief Architect of Gaming Solutions at AMD. Yep, there we have it. Edit. And AMD is very concerned that the average Gamer Joe's or the Entusiasts PC boxes is too small. Nice. They think on everything 🙂 We take this strategy to fit into the mainstream infrastructure (hardware environment) utilized by today's PC gaming enthusiasts. At the same time as demanding high performance, it should be possible to operate with an existing "common sense" power supply unit, be able to cool the inside of the case "be installed without requiring an extremely large case." ――The Radeon RX high-end product group was designed with these in mind." In the semiconductor business, we must constantly assess the trade-off between "performance" and "manufacturing cost". https://hwbot.org/submission/5225293_papusan_3dmark___sky_diver_geforce_rtx_4090_167029_marks -

I know. A very nice guest done of bro @Rage Set Have you figured out how to install Win 7 ? If you could that I can see you may jump on the Radeon card. Have the option still enjoy Win 7 with modern hardware is worth a lot. And RT is trash on low end nviida cards. 6900XT would be a nice replacemet for your 3060 Ti in your workstation pc. Or the 2nd bench beast. -

Yep, there is a reason I always go with Nvida over AMD. And I would still go with nvidia even if AMD took the longest straw and come in front. Same also when I search after older cards. I have one AMD card out of 16+. Thats the only and lonely 7970 and it will still be alone together with all the nvidia cards in the cabinet shelf. And this repeats itself also for processors. AMD have been in front of AMD before but I still will cling to Intel. And if AMD next time will be the best clocker I will continue with Intel. https://hwbot.org/submission/5225293_papusan_3dmark___sky_diver_geforce_rtx_4090_167029_marks?recalculate=true -

The smaller pivotable wheels have load capacity from 125 and up to 300 kg. You only need 4 of them and a bigger stiff plate to fit the chiller and the PC. And I doubt the chiller + the PC is much heavier than my huge big black box🙂 So I don't see the need for a laptop close to +3000$ and upwards. Your desktop can be portable if you really want. My older laptops can do the job if I need take with me a PC out on the go. As a tidbit from Papusan's plaza in the snowy and stormy north. We are now in middle of first spring month where we should start see first sign of spring flowers and birdlife. This is what we woke up to this Sunday morning. The winter storm this night come with 60cm new hard packed snow. And this won't stop before we are in middle May. Yep, nice living in a snow hole near the north pole🙂 You have to enjoy snow if you like all this. And I don't. Have seen more than enough of it. More pict in the spoiler. And once Intel, Nvidia and AMD going with smaller node we will see the laptop makers once again going hard for much thinner to sell it as "big news". They aren't finished going after the thin and slim laptop crown. The only reason Apple went with slightly thicker design was the need to add back some I/O ports they removed du the sick and slimy chassis trend. The dongle life ain't really started. We are just in the beginning for minimum of I/O ports and no power connectors for the next gen lap-jokes. Gaming books, workstation laptops or creator books. All will suffer the same destiny. Look at the beauty. Something like this will be your next laptop gaming beast. One thing for sure... Bro @Mr. Fox won't pay +$3000 for next gen new and modern gaming books.. -

Huhh. +50kg desktops can be portable. And you don't need buy the modern fancy silver shining $700 wheels package from Apple to make your desktop portable😆 4 wheels, some screws and a wooden board don't need cost more than 20$. Yep a bit heavier (100 times heavier) than lugging a 0.5kg 13" Jokebook inside your home but the wheels can offer similar/same functionality... Aka portable PC, HaHa -

Newer has to offer better features than the old. Always @Mr. Fox😆 Yes, Windows 11 taskbar is movable, but the Start menu does not support it windowslatest.com - March 7, 2023 Windows 11’s biggest and most hated change is its new taskbar. The redesigned taskbar is now based on XAML, which supports WinUI and Fluent and can create UI elements for any app, including UWP and .NET. The redesign has brought a modern touch to the taskbar, and XAML integration could lead to better future performance as Microsoft plans to separate the shell from the rest of the Windows elements. Still, it remains too restricted in terms of features compared to the taskbar of any Windows release, including Windows 10, 8 or 7.

I doub't we will se much of a diiference. And the lap-jockey's will run their games at native screen resolution. None will use their new and shiny slimy looking Jokebooks at 1080P. Then you have the firmware crippling. This is and will be a lottery. AMD will still use Smart-shift. + the 4090 mobile is in short 4070 ti level performance. The 4090 mobile ain't even on level with 4080 desktop card. Not enough to max out the Cpu's at 1440P. See Jufes bashing of the 16 cores Ryzen X3D V-cashed Cpu. It's sooo bad. In short a train-wreck😅 More AMD news.... AMD is aware of a rare 3DMark performance bug videocardz.com Some Radeon users may experience performance issues with 3DMark software when using the latest Radeon drivers. Old vs latest and greates AMD graphics drivers. Newer is always better, LOOL Another one but with AMDs Ryzen chips... Edit. A question for the owners of different K|ngp|n cards. EVGA offer 3 bios switch. Is there a difference between OC and LN2 vbios for the older K|ngp|n cards? Thanks -
