Multi tile design and Intel offer a huge stack of Cpu's. Don't expect we will see all variants this early. And why didn't AMD go with more cores when they changed to smaller node? And why went Nvidia with a smaller die with less Cuda cores for their low/mid range 4000 graphics chips? Better margins/higher profits? Melting 4090 and CableMod. JayzTwoCents and Gamers Nexus Response. Blame NVidia or User? And Northridgefix have loads of cards to fix, LOOL -

The baby core race start heating up. More E-cores bro @Mr. Fox @Ashtrix Loads of baby cores. And from both Intel and AMD. Intel may lead on with 3 different types cores. Two types baby cores and the rest is a few Performance cores. More is better? Huuu? Intel Meteor Lake 16-Core, 14-Core CPUs Surface In New Benchmarks Intel continues to go down the hybrid path with Meteor Lake. Meteor Lake, which features a multi-tile design, will employ Redwood Cove performance cores (P-cores) to handle heavy workloads while saving the Cresmont efficient cores (E-cores) for simpler tasks. The design allows for maximizing performance without sacrificing power consumption. However, Meteor Lake may feature a third type of core, presently rumored as the LP E-cores (low-power efficient cores). Meteor Lake will arrive for both laptop and desktop formats but presumably on the former first. AMD's Ryzen will follow Intel's lead with hybrid cores 4080 is rarely affected. One of the very few and on top with the CableMod adapter. Hmmm, CableMod feels they need to go out with firefighting. PCI-sig with help of Intel developed and designed a disaster of power connector. I wonder whom came up with the great idea that this new connector had to be so dams small and fragile. “Same here unfortunately” but with 4080, just waiting on support to reply on Monday. Good luck and it hope it works out -

Remember the CPU blocks in and output design ain't always similar designed. Depends on the WB brands. In worst case you'll get worse temps. Where the intake is in the chassis (left or right, it doesn't matter regarding temps). Just follow the brands recommandation for in and out for the specific block. Cold in and hot out. Be careful with use of different PSU manufacturers cables. Their pin-out on the PSU side is often different. Even within the brands own different PSUs. -

The 8 pin EPS connector have 4x12v lines. One more 12v power pin than 8-pin pci-e power connectors for graphics cards. With dual 8 pin EPS connector + power from the PCIe slot it should be enough for powering an 4090. But will lack sense pins. This connector couldn't be an option due how it's designed. The new 12VHPWR connectors should be made 50% bigger and not so fragile and with a proper hook latch. Or just dual length of 6 pin connector and slightly higher to implement the 4 sense pins with a proper hook. Pretty or cute have to be todays word. There was not a single reason they had to make the 12VHPWR connectors so small and tiny as they are. So in short... A stupid and not user friendly fragile connector design. Made and created for user erors. -

Nice. Some brands refuse to fix the problems. Of course you can't expect the different brands will fix it if the CableMod adapter is fused/molded to the GPU connector🙂 What we will never know.... How many have experienced fried CableMod adapters where the 12V power connector on the PCB is nice and clean. Just mount a brand new 12VHPWR connector shipped directly from CableMod. Yep, we will never ever get the correct numbers from CableMod. That would if the numbers was decent destroy their reputation. Bad enough with their previous QC problems where their adapter/cable turn your screen black. -
Forgot to add in, it need to be wired KB. I often play with fully stripped OS and don't want struggle with any wifi or bluetooth drivers. And thanks for all suggestions.

I'll need the numpad. Most good keyboards with numpad is around 450mm long. I want it below 400mm. 360-380mm long would be nice. No need for a lot bling bling lights and such fancy functions you don't need. Just with lights (white) and numpad. And of course ok mechanical key switches. Up to 150$ for the price.

I use Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM tastatur with Cherry MX Speed key switches. And a couple of unbranded cheap keyboards. They do what you want them to do but not much more. I'm in hunt for a much shorter full size mechanical keyboard. Come with options if you know about a few okish. Below 400mm long is preferred.

Disappointing RTX 4070 sales allegedly push NVIDIA to continue ongoing supply halt into June https://www.notebookcheck.net/Disappointing-RTX-4070-sales-allegedly-push-NVIDIA-to-continue-ongoing-supply-halt-into-June.718232.0.html First spotted by @harukaze5719 on Twitter, ITHome alleges that, due to bad RTX 4070 sales, NVIDIA decided to halt the supply of the GPUs to Add-in Card (AIC) partners at the end of April. This supposed delivery cut was meant to last for a month whereby AICs would start getting fresh RTX 4070 supply by the end of May. However, NVIDIA may now have extended the supply cut into June to keep the price of the board from falling. I can't see the AIC partners is so very happy with how it is. R&D need to be paid off. You don't do that with minimal/disappointing sales of 4000 series nvidia graphics. And I expect the AIC partners don't sell loads of GPUs for artificial intelligence to the Artificial intelligence industry in same way as Nvidia. I'm not even sure they offer such GPUs. Not the same as flooding the miners with gamer cards. AMD's RX 7600 may share a key spec with Nvidia's RTX 4060 and not in a good way AMD shouldn't compete with Nvidia in this way...... Or just scrap the idea with a normal PC box home and go with the small portable baby-box you linked above (in the youtube video). -

What? Not interested in Clevo's brand new gaming flagship. The real successor to P870/X170 line LGA/MXM laptops. When the botoom ain't reached..... Can it be worse? Probably.... Will. Read... Yep newer tech will always offer optimum combination of performance, price, and power efficiency. Nvidia try explain that minimum vram and lower Mem Bus is good for the gamers.. They get newest graphics cards for a cheaper prices😎 So yep, newer has to be newer. Every time! For the best for the gamers. Higher capacity chips cost more to make, so a balance is required to optimize prices. This is damage control at it's worst. NVIDIA Explains GeForce RTX 40 Series VRAM Functionality techpowerup.com -

Here's why nvidia prefered lower TGP for their new gen low-mid end graphics cards. More people can get new and modern graphics in their mini pc's. Those that prefer bigger chassis with better cooling capacity for maximum performance from lower tier cards will lose as always. Nice. First Mini-ITX GeForce RTX 40 graphics card announced https://videocardz.com/newz/first-mini-itx-geforce-rtx-40-graphics-card-announced The 12VHPWR connectors is the Gods gifts to the repair shops. The 4090 cards is very powerful and will have a long life in the used market with new owners. This means many cards will be out of warranty and the only fix will be by the repair shops. Yep, the 4090's is a Gold mine for any electronic repair shop. I'm quite sure the 12VHPWR connectors will come in new revisions for 5000 series cards. For the 4000 series cards its too late... Yep, I think AMD will skip this new connector for current gen Radeon cards (possible 7950XTX). They can't afford bad publicity after their try knocking down nvidia due the smoking 12VHPWR connectors before 7000 series cards release. + the increased costs will make it even harder for AMD to do such expensive changes. Here is 3 videos in a row from the last 5 days from NorthridgeFix. And I think he will make ready for the 4th or 5th video for this week or next (he got new ones in for repairs). And this delicate 12VHPWR mess won't stop by itself.... The last one is for @electrosoft🙂 From today. The weak point was the 90 degree CableMod adapter. Not the 12VHPWR adaper cable. Both fully plugged in. The 90 degree adapter plug was fully molded with the GPU connector. Stroger connection than with any of the best glue you can find on the market, LOOL 4090 FE Connector melted with Cablemod Adapter installed. 40 series cards should be recalled -

LOOOL In the most VRAM demanding games using ultra settings, like The Last of Us Part I, for example, the RTX 3060 may end up outperforming the newer 4060 due to its larger VRAM buffer. Nvidia stated in their briefing with us that the RTX 4060 Ti isn't designed to be used on ultra settings; being a mid-range card, it's more suited to high-ish settings at modest resolutions. Yep, I'm 110% sure this new cards will be amazing in 720P forwards, HaHa https://www.techspot.com/news/98731-nvidia-launches-three-new-geforce-rtx-4060-gpus.html -

More competition won't work. They will only try match prices up against what Nvidia will charge. And if they offer something much better they will do as AMD did with Ryzen 5950X. First mainstream chips that reached $800 USD. There was no reason that AMD wanted MSRP $899 USD for 7900XT. A $699 Gtaphics cards. The competition don't works!!! See.... Not so sure 4060Ti will be so enjoyable even with fake frame features.... 15% real performance uplift from the 2 years older 3060Ti with same amount money is a Joke. And this with +50% higher boost clocks. A note on DLSS 3 Nvidia leans heavily on DLSS Frame Generation throughout its announcement to make the 4060 Ti look even faster than the 3060 Ti, which is all well and good. For games that support it, DLSS FG can take frames rendered by your GPU and generate an interpolated frame to show in between them, hypothetically boosting frame rates without asking the GPU to render more frames. But there are three problems with DLSS FG, especially on mid-range GPUs. First, not all games support it, though many newer and more-demanding ones do (and pending Unreal Engine 5 support should make it even easier for developers to add support in new games). Second, it adds latency, which can make controls feel laggier in fast-paced shooters or other games where precision is important. And third, it works best in situations where your GPU is already pushing a decent frame rate. More rendered frames means that Nvidia's AI algorithm needs to "guess" less when generating its interpolated frames, and imperfections in those AI-generated frames are harder to spot at 120 fps than they are at 40 fps. We encountered some of this in our RTX 4070 review, where more visual artifacts were more noticeable in games like Cyberpunk 2077 where the GPU was rendering at closer to 30 fps than 60. Obviously, buying a midrange-to-low-end graphics card has always been about making compromises and balancing smooth frame rates with resolution and graphical fidelity. Despite its tradeoffs, DLSS FG is a powerful lever that people can pull to try to find a balance that works for them. It just isn't a substitute for better rasterized game performance, which benefits all games in all scenarios rather than just a subset. -

Also Nividia isn't able to understand own stupidity..... They only understand greed. Yep, no price hike but they castrated their 4060Ti cards with less Cuda cores and lower MEM Bus vs 3060Ti to cut costs. Easy make matching prices if you destroy own brand new graphics cards. And Nvidia want $100 USD for 8GB extra vram. How much does it cost Nvidia to buy it? Not much more but hey will use the more expensive Clam shell mode for 4060Ti. Thats retarded. 4060Ti. What a fantastic generation performance uplift. 15 percent faster performance than the 3060 Ti in games without the DLSS Frame Generation feature enabled. Up to 52% higher boost clocks but only 15 percent faster real performance... Yep, reducing CUDA cores and MEM Bus vs its predessor come at a cost. Yep, what an improvement. Rather a Joke. Yep, no problem go outside the 8-pin PCI Express power connectors current rating specs if the GPU manufacturer will allov it. But this won't happen. Needed power is only possible in combination with the fragile 12VHPWR connector or 4x 8-pin PCI Express power connectors. And this extra adapter in the GPU package will increase the costs aka reduce AMDs profits. Also adding the 4th needed 8-pin PCI Express power connector on the PCB will increase costs. Going the cheapo route will always come at a cost. Leadership and Efficiency - Perfected by AMD...............😎 A major change for the GPU package only to try coming 2nd will cost AMD a hell lot money. And there was for a reason they only added the XT over X for their older Ryzen Cpus. The AMD way... Being 2nd and keep up max profits. Why is AMD not using GDDR6X? - PC Guide -

3x8 pins ain't enough. AMD will have to change the power connector. Even their best binned dies won't be enough to stay with old fashion 8pin connectors. + we know AMD cut corners where they can (GDDR6vram etc) then they have the cheapo man F. Azor that look at maximum profits over awesome. They can close the gap to 4090 but will never come on par this gen cards. Nvidia don't even need 4090Ti to stay on top as long AMD only look on the bottom line. Or change from... I think the real problem is they don't know how to win to....... I think the real problem is they don't want to win because that will increase costs. -

This just show why Nvidia only will offer the minimum of vram for mid-end cards. Force you to upgrade the graphics card every 2nd year. Not a big problem with etc the 4090 (3090). You have already paid extra for the extra vram 🙂 -

Same with the Gigabyte board. Just even worse. That board even hate older Nvidia cards. To sum it up... What they want ... You have to buy their newest and greatest so we can make max profits. But this should never ever be the goal for OC boards meant for oc'ing. People/oc'ers that buy OC boards do it for one sole reason... Have fun with new and old hw, get the best the industri can offer and to take 3D world records (both with new and old hw). Asus fail hard in that task. Same with Evga that can't force Nvidia to give them their Sli keys, + don't even have support for some brand new 4090 graphics cards. And Gigabyte who drag it further and only let you install new graphics cards. Just the status of todays tech................ Not sure why a major PSU maker that cater to enthusiasts will force you to use their bloatware to be able to use your expensive HW the way you want. If you want avsome... You need to be in elite/chosen one and ask for special treatments. The rest of us have to accept seconda or trash. It stinks and it sucks.
