Is this a joke or reality? Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 desktop variant could launch with just 6 GB of VRAM Nvidia is expected to unveil the GeForce RTX 4050 desktop sometime in June 2023, the leaker adds. While the pitifully low amount of VRAM will prevent it from running many modern-day (and some older) AAA titles at any meaningful framerate/resolution, the performance deficit could be offset by DLSS 3 and the architectural improvements bought forth by Ada Lovelace. As long as specs are considered, the RTX 4050 desktop could share the GPU specs with the laptop variant (2560 CUDA cores). The leaker also commented on memory specs for this variant. It is reportedly equipped with 6GB memory, just like the laptop SKU. This means a downgrade from the Ampere series... RTX 3050.... Nvidia isn't the only one that think greed is great..... AMD and Intel motherboard prices skyrocket past surging inflation rates thanks to 35-40% ASP increases -

Cat and mouse game until Dell push out an very needed bios update😎 TCC Offset is here to stay to reduce RMA/support costs. As well throw their customers under the bus if they start to complain about 100C and want tech support to fix it. A genius idea implement this feature in bios. Worth millions for Dell. I hope the software engineer that come up with this great idea got a huge bonus.

Not the first time. 3 or 4 cases popped up in my PM box in older NBR forum. And it's real. A few was on the hook to take him (Mobius and a few others was after iunlock), but I never got more info.He even skammed Dell and ebay. I was in contact with the screwed ones and they was crying in sadness. They was also very afraid to talk about it and about iunlock in the NBR forum and threads. Remember iunlock was the so called TRIPOD fix King on NBR. And in the later time he only come back to NBR forum for fishing after new customers Hi could screw/scam. A very nasty business... And when the TRIPOD fixes failed and they have paid.... He avoided talk with them. Hi had already taken their money.... This was when the TRIPOD mess was as worst with the Alienwares. He sold so called fixed "new" and even used machines. Some of the machines Hi sold was never paid for. And we all know how that went. The buyers was screwed with no working laptops and without warranty. Damn sad case. -

A brand to avoid.....'¨' Inno3D don't accept fixing any problems if the warranty sticker is broken and they went with the cheapest kind of some components, even cut down on components on the +1600$ Nvidia flagship to further cut costs. So tripple bad. Can't be any worse than this. -

See my comment about my sons pc. I can use a shorter Pump/ reservoir combo to come above the GPU. And I don't have to fit the combo on the fan (can use the wall). But yep, many ways how to make an custom loop. Or go for an external solution. Then you have thinner distro plates with pumps where you can put several places... Sooo -

What you have in front of the HDD trays that need all the place over the bottom fan? https://www.ekwb.com/shop/EK-IM/EK-IM-3830046997999.pdf Edit. If my son want the bigger GPU I have to use a shorter reservoir for the custom loop and use the fan bracket so the pump combo go above the GPU. And I had to put the thicker radiator in the fan tray in front to make it work. Many ways go to Rome. Just be a bit creative 🙂 -

"These changes will occur on March 31, 2023, and the price increase will only affect certain products. Those prices will increase by 8% on average, applying to any selected product or product line our company currently offers" Not sure what what products will be affected. Maybe worth send an email if you can't find what parts will get the price hike. -

All I see is a Cpu that jump all over the places. Even below 2.0GHz with +25% load. I think Dell will say... Use our fantastic feature TCC offset. So no need for undervolting, LOOL

Just enable XMP and you already voiding Intels warranty as this is considered “Overclocking”. But nothing different vs AMDs own rules regarding oc’ing and warranty. -

Yep, can see this. But I prefer tinkering with different things. And soft tubing ease that up. So better for me. Be sure you leak test each part or the whole system before you fill up your loop. Much easier tracking leak problems afterwards with soft tubing. All depends how you put up your loop. Please post back when you have got your kit🙂 -

Yep, thats better. Here's the review of the block in that kit. Raijintek Forkis Pro RBW CPU Water Block Review techpowerup.com But I prefer soft-tube over Hard-tube. More flexible in all ways. -

DDC Pump more prone to dump heat into the loop. They often have shorter lifespan than D5 pump. Not very impressed by this custom water kit. -

Make you an build guide. Then check what every parts will costs from a good quality manufacturer. 200cm Tube is more than enough. Then compare what it totally will cost you. A bonus advice as last. Buy spare parts. You'll need it 🙂 -
Nothing stopped the laptop manufacturers in older days offer sustained power above 330W from the power adapters for older laptop models. Only the new and modern have a power cap well below the PSUs specs. Or around 250W. There is a major difference between +330w of sustained power vs castrate it at 250W from same type and brand power adapters. But I expect the power delivery welded on the tiny and cute MB in new and modern laptops is of cheaper quality to cut costs. The power delivery is most likely validated and built for higher peak power but not for higher sustained power above 250W. It's what it is. New and modern to cut costs.
