  1. https://hothardware.com/news/rtx-4080-12gb-has-more-than-memory-cut-from-16gb-model#:~:text=The reaction of,the naming scheme. The reaction of the hardware enthusiast community to the naming of the two RTX 4080 cards, as well as the overall high pricing of the Ada Lovelace GPU family, has been vitriolic in spots. The Reddit thread for the Project Beyond event on the /r/NVIDIA subreddit has over 4000 comments, and a great many of them are expressing either disappointment at the pricing or frustration with the naming scheme. 2. Isn't the Nepune coming with a castrated cooler block? If so, why buy it over a vanilla air cooled card and add own water block? I remember Tweaktown was more happy with the Suprime 3090 Ti than the water cooled Strix card (binning). NVIDIA CEO Comments On EVGA's Breakup And What It Means For The GPU Market NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang answered some questions from investors and reporters in the wake of his GTC keynote. One of the seismic industry events just ahead of all the Ada Lovelace news was the split with long-standing partner EVGA. Naturally, there were reporters at the Q&A that came fishing for Huang’s first official..... “The market has a lot of great players. And it'll be served well after EVGA,” said Jensen Huang, in answer to PC Gamer’s Jacob Ridley, during the Q&A session. Huang added some warmth to that rather cold sounding statement, mentioning that Andrew Han and EVGA were great partners, and it was sad to see them leave the market. Revealingly, Huang admitted he had known about the EVGA’s boss’s wishes to wind down the GPU business “for a couple of years.” Surely, NVIDIA rather blatantly creaming the top off the market with Founder Edition cards during recent generations was another one of the sparks behind the burned-out relationship.
  3. Thank you bro john for the test resullts 🙂 The problem with AMDs coming cards is their love for lower power consumption, and paired with 5nm process. I just can't see they can compete for the performance King this gen. And Nvidia want premium because I'm sure they know AMD can't compete regarding max performance. But they have to think two times if they think all people out there are stupid and will spend 1000$ for a 4080 4070 graphics card. We ain't in mining times anymore. And the web will be flooded with used 3000 series graphics cards. I'm sure more people/reviewers/youtubers will talk about Nvidia's new SCAM! And there is still a few smart people aka buyers out there that won't be tricked and lured by greed.
  4. Back to flow rate and water pumps bro @Mr. Fox I tried reach out to Eddy Alphacool on Techpowerup forum as you can see in the link and pict. Wonder if I get an answer back. Or if he will disappear and never respond/reply back. Can you check how the tests was done and then compare the results and come with a final answer. The Thermaltake Pacific TF1 flow/thermal sensor was tested by Igorslab and he wasn't very pleased with the reliabilty on this version. But it can't be so bad that the results would be so very differnt as in the two tests. Something is very fishy. Either from Alphacool or the flow sensor results. 5. From before AMD prioritized Ryzen chips over graphics due more profits from same silicon. So AMDs coming Radeon graphics cards has to be priced on a certain level to make it profitable. And newer AM5 motherboards will be damn expensive as well. And even worse in Europe due their massive love for taxes. At least DDR5 will stabilize at slightly lower prices than before. But a brand new AM5 platform will be expensive. This on top of the disgusting prices from Nvidia’s new gen graphics. It will be very expensive being an gamer kid. https://videocardz.com/newz/first-preorders-for-asus-x670-motherboards-now-available-in-europe-for-e510-to-e1475
  6. This means a 16GB GeForce RTX 4080 AIB card will have an MSRP near or +1300$. Almost mining prices for a simple xx80 card. Thats perverse. I expect nvidia with this will try to grab more market shares for their own brand as Founders Edition cards. No in Hell the AIB partners is able to sell loads of new overpriced cards if the gamer kids can just grab it cheaper from Nvidia. Nvidia want to get rid of their partners and sell most cards themself.
  7. Look at this... The cheaper RTX 4080 ($899) is a bit more modest, with 12GB of GDDR6X memory and a 2.31GHz base clock speed. Still, it promises more than twice the speed of its predecessor, and an upgraded 16GB RTX 4080 ($1,199) gives customers the best of both worlds. What do they compare the new scam with? 3070 Ti or 3080@12GB cards ? Will be fun to see if the new castrated 4080 will perform over the double vs 3080 performance. What's your guess on this? What Nvidia have done with the 4080 branding name is disgusting. Nothing different than what they did for the laptop-jockey's with Max-Q mobile graphics. RTX 40-series is much more expensive Now for some bad news. Worries about even-higher price points for the RTX 40-series proved accurate. The RTX 4090 starts at $1,599, a $99 premium over the RTX 3090. The 16GB GeForce RTX 4080 costs $1,199, the same price as the RTX 3080 Ti and an astonishing $400 more than the $700 RTX 3080. Finally, the mysterious 12GB RTX 4080 starts at $899, a $200 increase over its predecessor. 4080@16GB now with Ti prices is awful. And a real 4080 card at $1200 is disgusting. And the reason they added $100 for the 4090 was to make space for coming 4080 Ti (Super) cards). Hope AMD can do something with this.
  8. Yep, And the focus is still on the Store and ads. This new OS refresh brings almost nothing. Microsoft launches Ads program in Microsoft Store as it passes 900 million users milestone Microsoft has launched the Microsoft Store Ads pilot program to give developers another way to deliver and promote their apps and games to customers with Windows 10 and 11 at the right time.
  9. Look from 10:00 and you may see why bling bling is a bad thing for you 🙂 Do yoo like bling bling bro Fox in same way as me? DazMode have been in the cooling business a long time. And he also mean this modern fancy awful tech shouldn't be placed everywhere in your pc. I think he even hate it in same way as me, HaHa Yep,, he hate bling bling. From 19:40 No ligthts, period, LOOL
  10. What if we come to the point that Microsoft will remove all reg-keys in the OS as well force the MB manufacturers to follow their strict rules in same way as Intel forced the MB manufacturers to lock out BCLK overclock for older non K processors. Everything is possible if we talk about Redmond idiots. And this below looks nice... From the comment section. A new task is needed for each new update, LOOL Yep, Newer has to be better, HaHa
  11. You just have to love Microsoft and their newest OS... "It's worth noting that VBS is automatically disabled in Windows 10, which is why 11 is the only effected OS." Unfortunately, we do not know which specific Windows update initially caused all this mayhem. But when installed, the update automatically enables Microsoft's Virtualization-based Security (VBS) on Windows 11 systems. Microsoft calls this feature "Memory Integrity" in Windows 10 and 11's security app. Windows 11 Update Kills Undervolting and Overvolting on MSI Boards
  12. Thank you 🙂 They have it here home. But at whopping... Then add shipping on top. So only 95$ here home. Yep, near 100$. Here's one more disgusting price... Only 18$ for a single fan power cable. And God forbid if you only order this one. You have to pay +7$ for shipping on top 🙂 Yep, only 25$ for a cable if you are in need for one. Hail Norway! We can talk about more disgusting while we are at it... 13. Bro Fox. What type/brand flow and temp sensor meter do you have for your pc's? Thanks. Igorslab have tested a couple of them and wasn't happy with the results (the results was all over the place - none of them was especially accurate). But he liked the newer Aqua Computer high flow NEXT.

  16. For the first time I have put the build as it is meant t o be on thew web ...Kill me.... But I still want black bro. Probbly not what bro @Talon. But BLACK sorry I havent the data now.-...... But 1/4th lower flow rate sucks. And high pressure (4.0 vs 3.9 real D5 pump) is worthless vs 4 times higher flow. High flow beat high presssure any day.
  17. What next? Will we now all be flooded with graphics cards similar as for the laptop Jockey*s ? Best advice... As usual... Wait for proper reviews. And one review ain't enough. Do your Due dilligence. Awesome is soon DEAD!!! Being in desktop land ain’t any different than living in Jokebook- land. What with unlocked vBios? Maybe HOF will continue offer it... Only for a very few fab benchers/or some chosen ones and not for the ordinary graphics cards buyers. The usual from HOF. Just lovely. And this great news will cost Nvidia a lot (same for AMD). A Flooded market with loads used cards (miners bought 35% of all cards from Nvidia) and people have less to spend for coming new tech. Hope Jensen will love it... Greed will always lose. Or will it win? GPU Mining No Longer Profitable After Ethereum Merge Nvidia now....
  18. The Alphacool D5 (fake) pump have 360 L/h flow rate (D5 have 1500 L/h at specs) at default max speed. I have added an 480 mm rad on top for that pump. I expect the default flow rate will sink as a stone. See review of the XPS heatsink and the pump results.... https://www.enostech.com/alphacool-eisblock-xpx-aurora-edge-acrylic-digital-rgb-cpu-water-block-review/ Alphacool Eisbecher D5 – Thermaltake Pacific TF1 – Alphacool Eisbecher D5 The flow rate was taken after 5 minutes of running the loop. The flow rate came to 268 L/h which is quite low given that VPP775 is rated for up to 360 L/h at full speed. We then introduced the block in the loop and repeat the test. The order was: Alphacool Eisbecher D5 – Alphacool Eisblock XPX AURORA Edge – Thermaltake Pacific TF1 – Alphacool Eisbecher D5 The flow rate was once again taken after 5 minutes of the loop running. The flow rate came to 176 L/h which shows the restrictive design of the block. With minor changes going from the XPX block to Ek block I can't put all the blame on the block. I wonder how much more restricted the flow will be with an second 480 mm as I already have added to the so called 350 L/h pump. Edit............. I think the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 200 D5 PWM D-RGB - Acetal is the only option we have here home for sale (order outside Norway and add up to 35% on top). And the EK D5 pump (1500 L/h) from EK is verified to be geniune pump from the pump manufacturer. No real/genuine D5 pump offer 1/4 of the capacity as 350 L/h spec. What other options do I have? Not by much. There have to be something else. See post above. 52/45/42@stock voltage in CBR23 and around 70-72C 53/45/42@stock voltage in CBR23 and around 85C@311W I really hate the mounting. And it's a lot worse if you have a huge chassis (difficult to mount on both side at same time without help). And the block is huge and heavy. Re-paste with this new block is an awful task. Edit. Found a review of the EK block on Overclocking.com https://en.overclocking.com/labo-waterblock-ek-quantum-velocity²/ Tried compare the results (score and temps)... My higher score is maybe because I run with higher cashe or baby cores vs reviewers on OC.com. But the temps ain't very different.
  19. More pict of the crocks bro @electrosoft🙃 What a heavy baby. Slightly below 1.3 kg. And the Alphacool XPX block clocking in at wimpy 0.350 kg. And this with an heavier steel backplate for the XPS block vs the lighter alu backplate from EK. But what a stupid block design from EK. You need to be born as an Vishnu or being married. Two hands ain't enough to mount this fully metal baby in your chassis. This block is meant to be mounted on the MB before you put it into your chassis. Yep, damn stupid design from EK.
  20. Same performance… Nope. Less cores as well on the Max-Q version. And slower vRam and lower TGP. Ala fully castrated. Put it the other way… Desktop cards as the weakest 4080 of those two should be branded Max-Q in same way as Nvidia did nfor the older gen Mobile graphics cards. Nvidia finally gave the desktop buyers same nice graphics options as laptop-jockey’s now. And I don’t joke about this🙂 Isn’t it nice… That Nvidia will treat all types gamers exactly the same way?
  21. 3DMARK FIRESTRIKE total score is mostly about graphics score. Rather cripple the Cpu speed and put more works into the graphics (run the GPU at lowest possible temp and give it most of the power headroom). Give a huge thanks to Nvidia and the laptop OEMs for destroying own products. And a good advice... Use NVCleanstall for fast driver installs and test out different drivers for your graphics card. Some drivers will give you a slightly better results. A lot drivers to test for your card. Test and test bro Ryan. Don't give up. And only install the bare minimum from the graphics driver package. For the testing you don't even not need to run DDU in between the different drivers and tests. Only do that for final install. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is just disgusting.... 4080 with two different die's. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4090-rtx-4080-16gb-12gb-max-tgp-and-gpu-clocks-specs-have-been-leaked And yep.... Nvidia will give almost the same love for the 4090 as they did for 3090. Edit. Maybe Nvidia and AMD still have some hopes. Or maybe they have invested some money to help the miners to keep up maximum profits… https://wccftech.com/bad-news-gamers-ethereum-mining-is-not-going-away-not-yet-at-least/ When it rains on the priest, it drips on the bell ringer. https://no.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/når_det_regner_på_presten,_drypper_det_på_klokkeren
  22. Change lights settings in the house/room and the whole will look much better. And cheaper than replacing parts, LOOL
  23. Maybe Intel saw what AMD offered.... There is no competition. They coperate on where the price point has to be put. If there was real competition, Intel would never release a re-hashed Intel chips from last year in their new 13th series line-up. Maybe good enough because what AMD will offer in the low end. Aka nothing. Intel confirms Core i5-13600 CPU and below are based on Alder Lake die https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-confirms-core-i5-13600-cpu-and-below-are-based-on-alder-lake-die Intel Price Hike To Affect Upcoming CPUs, Motherboard Chipsets & Other Components In Q4, Up To 20% Increase I'm sure the Red boys and girls will say 100C ain't dangerous and is just fine. And 110W is better than +200w chips from Intel 🙃 AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU Operates at 5.45 GHz With Up To 92C Temps at Stock, 110W Package Power Rating Finally below 19 sec in Y-cruncher Pi-1B 🙂 https://hwbot.org/submission/5077444_papusan_y_cruncher___pi_1b_core_i9_12900k_(8p)_18sec_995ms?recalculate=true

  25. This new move doesn't make Norton as a option. What will they do next? NortonLifeLock to End Antivirus Crypto-Mining Due to Ethereum Merge 1 The company will disable the function on Sept. 14, the day before the scheduled Ethereum merge. However, the decision to offer the miner over the antivirus programs received some backlash from consumers and security experts over concerns the company was saddling users with non-removable bloatware. In its defense, NortonLifeLock said the mining tool was opt-in only. Opt-in only doesn't matter. An antivirus software company should never ever have started with this in first place. ----------------------------------------------------------------- And here is HP's bloatware. New security flaw discovered in HP Support Assistant Included with HP computers, but also available as a standalone release for non-HP PCs that use the brand's peripherals such as scanners or printers, HP Support Assistant is vulnerable to DLL hijacking........
