  1. Thanks. Is this with the chiller? And what with vcore? A chiller would reduce the temps and power consumption (the exampla I posted is done with a custom water setup). Should be a bigger difference between Sp108 and Sp97. But we still don't know about the leakage and the sub Sp scores.
  2. Nvidia found a new way to help its AIB partners to raise prices/keep them highest possible for 4000 series cards. So Nvidia don't have to rely on miners anymore. Rumors yep, but we know how Nvidia works and what's their goal. High prices/shortage of 4000 graphics cards will undoubtedly also help Nvidia and partners to get rid of the old stuff (3000 series chips).Big win in all ways (for nvidia), but not for the gamers nvidia was so concerned about. AMD need to push out their next gen cards... Now. NVIDIA Allegedly Shifts GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming GPU Production To Hopper H100 AI GPUs NVIDIA Prioritizes Hopper H100 AI GPU Production Over GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming GPU, Ada Stock Drying Up Everywhere. In a rumor by MyDrivers, it is reported that NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 gaming graphics card has been in high demand but despite that, the company has decided to shift its production capacities to meet the demand for Hopper H100 AI GPUs which are a more lucrative business for the chip-maker at the moment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Colorful RTX 4090 iGame Neptune has max TGP at 630W, highest from any RTX 4090 GPU videocardz.com The iGame Neptune from Colorful has the highest maximum power setting from all RTX 4090 GPUs. Nearly all RTX 4090 cards have higher max TGP (Total Graphics Power) for overclocking. There are models which have sub-500W TGP (ZOTAC), but the vast majority of GPUs goes higher. There are, in fact, models that go all the way up to 600W (NVIDIA Founders Edition, ASUS ROG Strix or Gigabyte Gaming). However, none of the card thus far has reached higher, that’s until Neptune was announced.
  3. Nice results. Could you post a 10 min run and also have Package power in the screenshot? Many got better memory oc results with Raptor lake. Many with ram problems, this was much due Alder lake (1th gen with DDR5). New platform as you know. And Intel continue improve it. So results should be better with 13th gen.
  4. In this video you can enjoy hear buildzoid's rambling about the e-cores. He really really hate them. As nice music in bro @Ashtrix ears 🙂 And yep, he won't change OS for the baby cores. They're not worth it, LOOL And Intel is ready to push out 32 of them for next gen processors. Of course with a 8 cores cap for the P-cores. Babies (e-cores), come dance with me, HaHa From 38:35
  5. Steve at Hardware Unboxed is usually an AMD fan. But he will rather go for a Intel platform with 13600K for (gaming - allwork) over AMDs continued AM5 platform support. Not eeveryday we see such statements from Hardware unboxed. AMD has to do something with the awful prices. Both for the MB and chips. All too expensive. From 19:30
  6. Microsoft's next goal is to squeeze out Ccleaner out from the market. Ccleaner's parents company Avast is already affected by Microsoft's security suite baked into their OS. They eat their own cooperation partner one by one. This just mean we will see even more bloat comong from Ccleaner and in Avast AV suite. Microsoft is working on its own CCleaner-like PC optimizer for Windows 11 Windowslatest.com - October 21, 2022 Windows isn’t really great at handling software as it wouldn’t automatically clean your registry entries and folders for all apps. The remaining files of uninstalled apps are all over your system, and it’s believed that the end result could be a slower PC. As a result, PC optimizer apps like CCleaner are popular among users. If PCs tend to feel clogged up and sluggish, users download and install PC Optimizer, Registry optimizer or cleaner apps. It’s not surprising, though. It is widely believed that speeding up a system is cleaning it thoroughly and removing the leftovers of past programs. There are several tools for speeding up a cluttered PC, but it looks like Microsoft is planning to join the train too. Over the past several years, Microsoft has been trying to make Windows faster and native apps smaller in size by pushing updates through the Microsoft Store instead of bundling everything with the OS itself.
  7. The scam and notebook trend continue.... Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 headed to laptops with an AD103 GPU More here:
  8. If you continue with Samsung disks then try Samsung's own tools for cloning/data migration https://semiconductor.samsung.com/consumer-storage/support/tools/ I used this tool on an old machine with no problems. Nvidia was taken with the pants down with the scam 4080@12GB and had to remove it from their gpu line-up. But they continue screw the laptop-jockeys. What a joke. Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 headed to laptops with an AD103 GPU Interestingly enough, the Ada Lovelace mobile lineup skips the GeForce RTX 4080 entirely. The GeForce RTX 4090 (AD103) is followed by the AD104-based GeForce RTX 4080 Ti (175 W TGP), GeForce RTX 4070 (AD106, 40 W TGP) and the GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti, both with different AD106 variants. There is no word about when the Ada Lovelace mobile graphics cards will be launched, but if last year's release cycle is anything to go by, they should start showing up at around CES 2023.
  9. Still not as worse as Newegg. You get at least what you pay for. Whats wrong with Newegg? How is this even possible? And when will people stop use them? Newegg Customer Buys Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090, Gets Weights Instead https://wccftech.com/newegg-customer-buys-gigabyte-geforce-rtx-4090-gets-weights-instead/
  10. Be you sure. I have looked on many reviews. And the results from Techpowerup ain't a deviation from what I've seen. But both the higher end chips is very close in performance. Regardless of benchmarks. And Pudget test the processors as workstation chips/content creation... https://www.pugetsystems.com/all_articles.php Intel's 13900k just made the 7950x a TERRIBLE value....

  13. All is relative and maybe not what you exppected. Below from tweaktown.com - I would say they are equal bad. But Intel would get better numbers if they was on a smaller 5nm node (they are still on 10nm+++++). Final Thoughts: The biggest takeaway is how well Intel has optimized its Intel 7 process, enough that power numbers are significantly more efficient, now using 20 watts more than 7950X at the high-end, even with more cores. These improvements landed the 13900K at the top of the chart for Performance per Watt, and when we add in gaming performance, it's top 3 for best gaming CPU for the money. Read more: https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/10222/intel-core-i9-13900k-raptor-lake-cpu/index.html --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intel Core i5-13600K "Raptor Lake" CPU Review tweaktown.com Final Thoughts: Wrapping up our testing of 13th Gen Raptor Lake, the Core i5-13600K is perhaps even more amazing than the Core i9-13900K, in the sense that this entry-level option with a $319 MSRP is more of a direct competitor to AMD's recently launched Ryzen 7 7700X than the 7600X if we are looking at performance alone. As we discussed above, power efficiency is a huge factor for the 13th Gen, and the 13600K benefits by becoming the best CPU in our performance-per-watt testing, with the 13900K trailing right behind, and this carries on to our Performance vs. Price with gaming and productivity, taking the top spot in our charts. 14. Not everyday we see a 43% performance uplift with a yearly upgrade. A lot more than going from lets say Ryzen 9 3900X up to 3900Xt. There is only so much you can gain from same node (more of the small wimpy baby E-cores and no IPC uplift). And higher clock speed for gaming because most games only benefits from 6 or 8 cores. Amds chips run at 95c and Intel's chips bottom out at 100c at full load. You can't do much more on todays tech if the manufacturers prefer milk on same old tech for new releases. It's what it is.
  15. Isn't longer bars the same as faster? I expect it's the eyes that see 🙂 https://www.pcworld.com/article/1357979/intel-core-i9-13900k-review.html Then we have OC headroom Intel Core i9-13900K and Core i5-13600K Review: Raptor Lake Beats Ryzen 7000. The Raptors are out of the cage! tomshardware.com | Today The Raptor Lake processors provide the highest overclocking ceilings we've ever seen at 5.6 GHz. All three chips we tested reached incredible clock speeds with little effort (ceilings in the 5.5 to 5.7 GHz range with beefy ambient cooling are said to be common — I would have pushed higher if I had known earlier). Raptor's overclockability is far more useful in the Core i7 and i5 models, as most of the headroom (and more) is already exposed in the Core i9-13900K right out of the box.
  16. REVIEW ROUNDUP - videocardz.com - Today 2022-10-20 13:00 Intel 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” Desktop CPU Review Roundup Intel Core i9-13900K has been overclocked to 8812.85 MHz, beats 8-year-old frequency world record https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-core-i9-13900k-has-been-overclocked-to-8812-85-mhz-beats-8-year-old-frequency-world-record
  17. Reviews (roundup) of 13900K is up. And not a single digit in IPC uplift. Only higher core clocks and more baby cores. But enough to beat AMDs top dog in many benchmarks/product suites (not in all). This is too little even with an coming KS if AMD push out their 3D v-cashe chips in spring 2023 for being the gaming king. But an nice overclocker if you use LN2. A new CPU frequency world record achieved by Elmor. It was August 2014 when the highest frequency ever for a desktop CPU was achieved with AMD FX 8370 processor. It was a 8722.78 MHz overclock for a CPU that had a default frequency of 4.0 GHz. More than 8 years later, this record has now been broken again, but with an entirely new CPU. https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-core-i9-13900k-has-been-overclocked-to-8812-85-mhz-beats-8-year-old-frequency-world-record
  18. The aRGB lighting show will be more and more important for the vendors. The best way to increase profits/ASP. The new bling bling show come at heafty 400$ or 3x the uplift in price vs the older model. Aka damn expensive lights, Frosty-looking white color and ssd cooler. Team Group Launches Dual CPU and SSD Liquid Cooler tomshardware.com https://www.tomshardware.com/news/team-group-launches-dual-cpu-and-ssd-liquid-cooler All-white and full of aRGB lighting The older model without the ssd cooler.... 19. Update 10/19 04:49 PT: It seems that MSI are admitting that the price increase was an error. In a statement given to TechPowerUp, MSI has claimed that "As a matter of fact, it was our negligence to mismatch the price. The price of RTX 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID X will remain at 1749.99 USD" We have checked MSI's store and can confirm that the price has returned to $1,749.99. https://www.tomshardware.com/news/msi-raises-liquid-cooled-rtx-4090-pricing-by-dollar185-in-less-than-a-week MSI backtrack the scalping. Too much bad publicity and of course they hide it by own errors. MSI has offered an apology and refund for anyone who purchased the card at the higher price. With this I think they will sell this cards in loads. But still all too expensive thanks to NVIDIA.
  20. MSI try being Asus. MSI dont need help from Miners. They are become scalpers. MSI Raises Price of RTX 4090 SUPRIM Liquid X in a Week: Underpriced Just for Reviews? Techpowerup.com - Today, 03:09 MSI debuted its flagship GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM Liquid X graphics card to gleaming reviews as one of the few custom-design RTX 4090 cards that fits inside a 2-slot design, freeing up expansion slots on your motherboard, thanks to its AIO liquid cooling solution. One of the most striking aspects of the card was its MSRP of USD $1,750, a mere $150 (9% premium), which made the card look like an overall great purchase, given that ASUS was pricing the air-cooled 4-slot ROG Strix RTX 4090 OC at $2,000 (25% premium). This had an impact on the SUPRIM's performance-per-Dollar calculations in reviews in comparison to pricier options. It turns out that MSI has revised the price of the RTX 4090 SUPRIM Liquid X a mere 1 week into its launch, increasing it by $185. The card is now priced at $1,935 (20% premium over NVIDIA baseline), closer to that of the ASUS ROG Strix. This isn't a marked-up price by a retailer, but the latest price on MSI's first-party online store for the US market. Price premiums of custom-design RTX 4090 cards have been conservative across the board, particularly for a flagship card like the SUPRIM Liquid X, but a price revision this soon after launch doesn't go down well with buyers, and makes it seem like the card was underpriced just for the reviews—something ASUS avoided when they priced the ROG Strix at $2,000 right off the bat. And yes, we are mindful of the concept of introductory pricing, but only when it's advertised as such. An introductory price is meant to be disclosed to be as such, making buyers [and reviewers] aware that the card's actual MSRP is something else/higher. When we contact companies for pricing to use in our reviews, we clearly seek MSRPs, and not introductory pricing for the company to sell a tiny inventory at low prices, only to raise them a week later. Some of you remember this? So not the first time we have seen MSI in the media looking bad. 22. Intel's cancer fix. Halfbaked and can't be fixed without you interfering with bios and power plans. it's so powerful that it consumes 41watts in its sleep, so a good idea they didn't bother offer even an more powerful SKU. I didn't know the new Intel graphics was so powerful🙃 None of the cards from Nvidia and AMD is close. In it's own league. Intel Shares Potential Fix for High Idle Power Consumption on Arc GPUs https://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-potential-fix-high-idle-power-arc-gpus At the same time, Intel says that it will include fixes for this high idle power consumption in later architectures. The nature of the fix and Intel's own statements indicate that this is something the company can't fix solely through its drivers. Perhaps these are all elements of Arc Alchemist being the first discrete GPU architecture from Intel. We'll see what happens with subsequent iterations.
