60% performance uplift with double amount cores (if this rumours is from the 52 cores cpu). I hope this MT uplift don't include the IPC increase. But Intel have a long time forwards to tune their next gen chips. Intel Nova Lake performance leak claims 10% single and 60% multi-threaded uplift -

This is the main problem with AMD. They go greedy and go after same price point as Nvidia but offer worse features. It's amazing to see that AMD always are able to find exactly same performance target as for nvidia long before the Geforce cards is released. They even branded the card xx70 (XT) tier SKU long before nvidia was out with their new xx70 Ti cards. Last time they did the same was when they said they went after xx80 performance and scrapped offer High end. They knew exactly where the performance level was for xx80 cards. Almost as they get all the info needed directly from Nvidia. They even price their cards after nvidia's recommended prices (MSRP). Just adjust it a bit below and hope low availability can inflate prices so they match Nvidia. AMD is nothing other than a nvidia light version. -
Yup, Microsoft prefer more bloat over anything. SteamOS thrashes Windows 11 on the new Lenovo Legion Go S with up to 83% more FPS

LOL Not only lying but the engineers/marketing teams are just plain stupid. Microsoft says that 'Windows 11 PCs are up to 2.3X faster than Windows 10 PCs', neglecting to mention that it's comparing apples to bowling balls
-
AI makes us worse at thinking for ourselves Several new studies indicate that frequent use of AI tools like ChatGPT can impair our cognitive abilities. @Mr. Fox As you can see.... AI make us more stupid. And modern people will be feeded with uncorrect info. So double up... You became more stupid and the stupidity make it so you don't see what's wrong with uncorrect info you beeing feeded with. Isn't that stupid?
-
Have you something to add in for this? Windows 11 is 2.3 x faster than Windows 10, LOL Regarding increased security....With all the bugs they add in the security claims is not correct. Same as with Nvidia.... You can optimize security and functionality on older products if you give it same love as for the newest and most shiny. Stupids!!! Microsoft claims Windows 11 is 2.3x faster than Windows 10, so upgrade The company also suggests that increased PC security is another reason in favor of upgrading to Windows 11.

God news is still god news. Microsoft is also facing a lawsuit for using pirated books to train its AI model. Today we learned that Microsoft is facing a class-action lawsuit led by a group of authors who claim the company used their books without permission to train its artificial intelligence model...

Dell blames Qualcomm and its Oryon SoC for the "Night Light" problem in Windows 10 and 11, there is no solution Despite being designed to offer a healthier screen experience, the Windows Night Light feature has stumbled in certain configurations, and in fact, is pitting two companies, which are still partners, against each other.

Also Jayz got his hands on the XOC vbios. AMD have found a new way to cut costs... AMD changes the Ryzen 7 7800X3D PCB by removing some MLCCs, are they unifying the substrates? Many users started reporting from China that the overclocking headroom had dropped by 300 MHz compared to the original PCB , which also required more VCore as standard , for the same TDP . So there is no advantage? Yes, a lower temperature. At the moment, this new PCB has not been tested by any analyst for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which being the sales leader in many countries around the world, is gaining new interest for obvious reasons, especially for those who want to push it to the limit. How much will they save removing a few MLCCs ? 2-3 cents? -

Yup. GN's conclution was to be expected. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang begins sale of $925M worth of Nvidia stock — sale of 6 million shares barely dents his $123 billion in shares Just last year, its executives and directors sold over $1.8 billion in Nvidia stock, with Jensen raking in $713 million in cash after selling six million shares — the same amount planned for this year. -

Not the best results but Corsair is smart enough to continue offer 2x8-pin to 12v-2*6 cables on the 2025 refresh. Due this you get loads of 8-pin connectors. Corsair HX1200i ATX v3.1 (2025) power supply review – Efficient, quiet and not quite cheap A note on the pair of 8-pin connectors powering the device’s 12V 2×6 cable instead of a native connector. In my professional opinion, this is better and safer as the load is spread across two larger connectors rather than a single one, which helps to keep operating temperatures lower under high load. It also makes it easier to bend the appropriate cable closer to the side of the power supply without the risk of damaging the connector and increasing the resistance of certain conductor cross-sections or pins. -
Yup. Designed in the US. Not made in the US. The Trump T1 phone is most likely manufactured in China. Not "Made in USA": Successful launch of Donald Trump's T1 Phone despite misleading specs Trump T1 Phone's product page has removed all claims that the device is made in USA. Using the WayBack Machine, we can see what the website was previously before any changes were made, where it clearly states the phone was "made in the USA." It's disappointing to see the Trump Organization make this change after receiving at least thousands of pre-orders for the device, especially considering that the USA-made aspect was the main selling point. https://www.tweaktown.com/news/106050/trump-phone-drops-made-in-usa-claim-after-thousands-of-preorders/index.html What you have learned from this.... All that glitters is not gold All that glisters is not gold— Often have you heard that told. Many a man his life hath sold But my outside to behold. Gilded tombs do worms enfold. Had you been as wise as bold, Young in limbs, in judgment old, Your answer had not been inscrolled Fare you well. Your suit is cold—

Intel going the opposite way. No need for skilled employees if you prefer outsource your product production. Almost as the new Intel ceo Mr. Lip work for their competitors. Harsh cost savings can often have the opposite results in the long term. And Intel continue off-load own products. Less need for workers and production capacity. Cut into the bone. Intel Sacrifices Its Automotive Sector! Semiconductor industry faces critical talent crisis — one million additional skilled workers needed by 2030 Not enough engineers for the semiconductor industry Semi's projections indicate that by 2030, the chip industry will need to hire around one million additional skilled workers worldwide. If you use the cheapest parts for your products you can set lower prices. But nvidia could easily use GDDR7 and still sell it for $250 and have good margins. Use of slower GDDR6 is greed. Intel and AMD use GDDR6, so Nvidia just follow same paths. Max profits over better products. -

Anyone that trust Nvidia on this one? Nowhere they said they did this to maximize profits for the desktop cards. Why is slower GDDR6 more beneficial on the desktop version of 5050 ? Lower power with the more power efficient GDDR7 just mean more power for the GPU cores within same TBP limits. And lower memory bandwidth translate to lower AI TOPS for the desktop cards. nvidia think less is more🤔 This move was to manage the $249 price target and still get decent profits margins. Nvidia explains why its desktop RTX 5050 only uses GDDR6 memory instead of GDDR7 like the laptop version GDDR6 vs GDDR7 Berraondo neglected to share any advantages GDDR6 offers to the desktop version of the RTX 5050 (if any). Only mentioning that "...G6 is the best choice for desktops". There is no reason for Nvidia to use GDDR6 from a pure performance perspective. GDDR7 is not only more thermally and electrically efficient (allegedly) but also provides significantly more bandwidth than the fastest GDDR6 modules. It is likely Nvidia chose GDDR6 on the desktop RTX 5050 for cost-saving reasons and possibly better supply chain availability. Nvidia uses GDDR7 on all of its other RTX 50 series GPUs, including the high-in-demand RTX 5090. Using GDDR6 on the RTX 5050 desktop GPU allows Nvidia to prioritize its GDDR7 supply to higher-end GPUs, assuming GDDR7 supply chains are strained. -

We will need decades to fix our old sins. And there are neither the resources nor enough workers to meet the needs. And many countries already have very low unemployment. The reserves we can take from is often well below 4%. Here in Norway the unemployment is close to 2%. Then we have poverty, sick and disabled, low-income earners/pensioners. Many of them live from hand to mouth every day, week and month. Even in a rich country as Norway. Stop imports from China for everything you need in life will be their downfall. They just can't afford 5-10-15 or 20% higher prices for living. Some people can't even eat every day today due to the already high prices/living requirements to have a fairly decent life. Sadly, a wish dream. US need to stop Nvidia. Either with fines that kill their profits, or stop them from selling their products everywere in some regions. And not only Nvidia. Do the same for all US tech companies that can feed their war machine. But corruption and greed infiltrated in the Goverments/administration will always win in the end. If they can get something back from you then they can offer you a #free# trade in..... Microsoft will trade your data/privacy for extended Win 10 support. Isn't that disgusting bro @Mr. Fox ? Use the Windows Backup app to sync your settings to the cloud = Violate your privacy/and data theft for internal usage. Pay 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points Pay $30 (local prices may vary) The free alternative is for users to link their Microsoft account to the Windows Backup app. This allows them to synchronize/scrape your documents, images, apps, and PC settings with the cloud. The Windows Backup app uses the capacity of OneDrive, which offers users 5 GB of storage space in the free version. If the amount of data to be synchronized is larger, users will need to upgrade OneDrive – which reduces the benefit of the free security updates. “Free” security updates for Windows 10 until 2026

No go. Go up to 97% and then error out (failing in the verify step). And for everyone that tried this vbios. The US government need to issue a ban for the whole Asia region (or 1/3 of the market) if they want to stop Nvidia from selling their chips into China. nvidia or Jensen Huang doesn't bother where in the world they get their profits from..,. DeepSeek somehow acquires NVIDIA H100 AI GPUs, after US bans NVIDIA from selling chips to China The official added: "DeepSeek sought to use shell companies in Southeast Asia to evade export controls, and DeepSeek is seeking to access data centers in Southeast Asia to remotely access U.S. chips". There is even people that buy PSUs without knowing what they pay for. See this one... Many modern motherboards use an extra 8-pin connector. So two 8-pin for the CPU and one to power the rest of the components attached to the MB. But you get an 12V-2*6 connector you can't connect to your Intel, AMD or older nvidia graphics card. Yeees, some will jump on it. Because it's from Seasonic. Maybe it have asingle reverse 12V-2*6 to 2x8-pin cable but that is an idiotic solution. Only to cut costs. Seasonic Core GX-850 in a short test Great value....🤢🤮🤢 Second ugly for the day.... Microsoft will trade your data/privacy for extended Win 10 support. Isn't that disgusting? -

Here's the thing. Nvidia just launched RTX 5050 for Jokebooks and Desktops. A Game Changer🤢 RTX 5050 desktop card = 8GB GDDR6 with Memory Bandwidth 320 GB/sec RTX 5050 Jokebook soldered on chips = 8GB GDDR7 with Memory Bandwidth 384 GB/sec Is this meant as a JOKE ? Any reason Nvidia couldn't use faster GDDR7 for their RTX 5050 Blackwell desktop cards? The desktop variant of RTX 5050 offer slower vram with lower memory bandwidth and lower AI TOPS. IS LESS MORE? Jensen Huang bring Blackwell RTX To Gamers Everywhere, Starting At $249. Nice. Pay more. Save more. At least you get GDDR7 for desktop cards😁 The cheap mans RTX PRO 6000 -
