  1. The master plan? Nvidia want their share of coming modern tech. Desktops will be more and more like/equal Jokebooks. Nvidia's AIC partners need to do as EVGA and start with gaming gears/PSU's. Then we will have duopoly in reality. While I expect that Intel and Nvidia will focus first on laptop chips, which represent the bulk of the PC market, the same advantages also apply to the desktop. I think the future of the desktop PC will look a lot like the Framework Desktop, which is built around AMD’s Ryzen AI Max—but instead of that, we’re looking at Intel-Nvidia SoCs. That means you could kiss upgradeable discrete desktop graphics goodbye. Nvidia’s alliance with Intel is the end of PC graphics as we know it These figures paint a grim picture for competition in the consumer PC arena. An Intel-Nvidia alliance pairs the consumer CPU market leader with the consumer GPU market leader—and the result is a monster that eats up whatever gains we’ve seen in hardware competition recently. So "all in one units". Isn't that what people want for computers. Exactly as a smartphone. More like unisex. Better say a mix of nvidia and Intel will make tomorrow's new computer tech dubbed desktop-phones. How it goes if you pare disgusting🤮
  2. It seems Intel bet harder on Jokebooks, tablets, consoles and similar mobile trash. A nice way to improve their processors... I mean iGpu performance. The worst that could happen is if they move away from desktop graphics cards. They need a partner to compete with AMD's APU's. Interesting news for me? Nope. This type tech ain't for me (see bolded text above). As it pertains to PC products, all we know at the moment is that Intel will make x86-based system-on-chips (SoCs) that implement NVIDIA's RTX GPU chiplets. The rest is speculation—these could span gaming laptops, game consoles, embedded designs, and, well, you name it. Intel Responds To Questions On Future Of Arc Graphics Following NVIDIA Collaboration Announcement by Paul Lilly - Thu, Sep 18, 2025 How much did US consumers save when buying high end cards before the Trump tariiffs should kick in?🙂 Demand and shortage usally increase prices. This due early adopters that tried to win the tariff game. Retailers and distributors didn't want to get caught flat-footed if regulations suddenly raised costs, and enthusiasts picked up on the same cues. Nobody wanted to be the one paying 15–25% more for a graphics card a few months later, so they bought early, clearing stock and pushing prices higher at the high end. GPU sales skyrocketed 27% last quarter And Asus has become the new Dell. They really really love proprietary hardware solutions. They also follow Dell's paths regarding the love for locked down firmware (XOC firmware for 5000 series cards finally banned for almost everyone - only for the elite). Asus teases new concept that boosts motherboard GPU slot power to 250W
  3. Yup. "The game is pretty damn optimal - which means that the software is doing what we want without wasteful cycles on bad processes," Randy Pitchford says in one post in a long thread. And for those experiencing low FPS or wanting to hit higher than 60 FPS on PC, he adds, "Use DLSS. It's great. The game was built to take advantage of it." Borderlands 4 becomes the new Crysis as Gearbox says it's already running 'optimal' on PC https://www.tweaktown.com/news/107746/borderlands-4-becomes-the-new-crysis-as-gearbox-says-its-already-running-optimal-on-pc/index.html
  4. @Rage Set happy to see you again. Hope all is well🙂 Back to Norway from the summer vaccation. And back to rain and the fall. The dreaded dark is already here. But 12.5C in the days is better than 4-5C, isn't it? So back to depression I go🙁 Nvidia's China-exclusive RTX 6000D reportedly gets lukewarm reception in China due to hobbled performance — could leave Nvidia with huge backlog of unwanted GPUs Let e'm burn in with the overpriced cards that no one want. Let'm bleed money. Estimates by JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley suggest Nvidia may be on track to produce between 1.5 and 2 million of these GPUs before the end of the year, potentially leaving it sitting on a huge stack of unwanted cards. Only $1,119 USD. For 5070Ti. Disgusting. Asus can't stop maximice profits from stupid consumers/gamers. Amazon exclusive, LOL ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 Released – Amazon Exclusive ASUS has incorporated a range of reinforced electrical components, including TUF chokes, MOSFETs, and advanced 5K capacitors, engineered to sustain higher temperatures and provide greater stability than standard solutions. Its Amazon-exclusive release strategy underscores a targeted distribution model while providing gamers with a GPU optimized for stability, thermal management, and next-generation GDDR7 memory performance. If the stability is a problem with cheaper SKU's.... Why make cards that ain't stable? Here in Norway we have 5 years warranty. Some places even 7 years. Good luck A$$us if you cut down on quality&QC. There is something that called "payback" time. There is no place here you can offer/sell pure trash. Not here atleast🙂 Good luck greedy bastards! Our very good consumer laws will crush you. And that will help rest of the words consumers. Go back to the draw table and make products that will last 7 years. Or you'll lose money. Not this scam. God bless real consumer laws🙂 Modern times. Exactly what Jensen said... Pay more get more.
  5. Sad seeing such overengineered fragile trash. Design over everything. Asus made a damn good card but all too expensive. But as long they continue use that tiny power connector the better cards doesn't look much better. The wimpy 12V-2*6 is still the weak point. LOL Hmmm. This will also affect SDD's Western Digital announces immediate price increase for its mechanical hard drives (HDDs) China won't give at the doors... The US adm have opened the "can of worms". I hope Nvidia's CEO Jensen enjoy the game😀 30% of all profits/revenue for nvidia at the stake. Same with Texas Instruments. So minimum 30% tax money down the drain. Imagine you lost 30% of your sallery within a few months... You would risk become poor and in worst case become homeless. What with Nvidia and their shareholders.... Will they handle a loss of +30% of the sales? Or will they only be a part of the tech/AI bubble that will blow off as we expect? A nice reminder... Search what happened in 2008. Here's a sneak peek. China places its noose around the US's neck: anti-dumping investigation into analog chips and trade bans China has lit a new spark in the semiconductor war, this time against analog chips from the United States, which has just been put in the noose. China has opened an anti-dumping investigation that could lead to.... Xi Jinping knows how to play Trump's game and puts him in front of a mirror with his companies looking back at him. China claims to have created an AI that works like the human brain: a model up to 100 times faster than ChatGPT
  6. And good luck getting needed parts for repairs. Nvidia won't give at the doors. Either you still have warranty or you are out of luck. Stupid design. Pretty for some, yes but not as functional if you want longevity for your expensive purchase. Not everyone will feel well when tearing this card for trouble shooting (after the warranty have expired).
  7. https://cdn.jwplayer.com/previews/i9U4wczG
  8. Payback time. But I expect MacDonald still need some workers. This is how you treat your employees in AI times bro @Mr. Fox. Maybe Musk now can hire thousands of higher educated Chinese engineers (those will later move back to China - you don't forget your roots) for next level of the AI bubble. Nice, Build expertise in another high tech country then take it back home to get real payback. This is how you build your country. And even an smart man as Musk know that. Elon Musk's xAI lays off hundreds of workers tasked with training Grok Education report promoting AI ethics under fire for fake sources, possible AI misuse After 18 months of work, Canadian report questioned over fabricated references
  9. New is always better bro @Mr. Fox🤩 Microsoft must admit defeat: many users return to Windows 10 after trying Windows 11 even though there is only 1 month left until it ends.

  11. Hmmm. 1000D is 37.5 kilogram emphy thats approximately 83 pound And I mean the 9000D also weigth arornd the same. Not sure where you found that info. I think my 1000D is closer to +60 Kg now with what I have installed. Hence the need for the trolley table that can handle 200KG😀 Thermal Grizzly launches ASUS RTX 5090 GPU waterblock, costs more than RTX 5070 graphics card Well over $650 USD here home🙄 And here is AMD's fine wine....😀 And probably why Nvidia deleted the Hot spot sensor for 5000 series. RMA within warranty period cost money🤔 The AMD RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 XT are dying after several years of use due to excessive temperature in their Hot Spot.
  12. Next level of stupidity.... OLED display on mem sticks is the new low to increase profits. V-color's new XFinity DDR5 RAM: world's first DDR5 RAM with OLED display V-Color unveils XFinity+ RAM: the world's first DDR5 RAM with a built-in OLED display, offering speeds of up to 9066 MT/s on AMD and Intel platforms I fix it for you🙂
  13. Why not $599 ? If they have lots in stock just put the more correct price point. Everything above is just greed.
  14. But would you be more happy with damn old EOL chips rebranded as the new good wine? Intel try make some money from their all gone 5 years old chips on 14nm++++++++++. Intel's 14nm+++ desktop CPUs are making a comeback — chipmaker inexplicably resurrects Comet Lake from five years ago with 'new' Core i5-110 https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/intels-14nm-desktop-cpus-are-making-a-comeback-chipmaker-inexplicably-resurrects-comet-lake-from-five-years-ago-with-new-core-i5-110
  15. Maybe they will/can make better processors if they can charge much much more. Are you happy with how AMD price their products? Some are as you can see. Are you happy with how AMD price their processors and graphics cards? Do you feel good about what you pay for from those re***d$? AMD candidly admits 'we charge more for our CPUs than our competitor' and that 'customers feel good about the price' Doesn't bode well if AMD manages to take the fight to Nvidia in the GPU market.
  16. The proof is in the pudding bro @Mr. Fox New is always better 🤐 Some think the earth is flat like a pancake as well. Early Windows 11 25H2 benchmarks confirm the update provides no performance improvements over 24H2 Windows 11 25H2's underwhelming benchmarking performance is not surprising to see.
  17. Sad they can't offer a scheduler that works properly with the hybrid mess. E and P cores is an disgusting technology. Add 3rd types cores and everything is a complete mess. Only to slightly reduce power consumption to try compete with ARM for joke books and to reduce costs for the whole cpu package. If you cannot make proper processors then stop try compete. Make low end and OEM's will buy it if its cheap enough. This isn't good enough. Intel you have failed hard!! https://www.sweclockers.com/nyhet/41705-intel-uppdaterar-apo-battre-fps-i-fel-spel Intel says this is a step towards more hardware-aDware optimization, where APO dynamically places threads on the right cores to reduce latency in CPU-bound scenarios.
  18. I doubt we will see 8GB xx60 cards with 6000 series. That even without the Super moniker. Then they will differenciate with TDP and boost clocks for Super vs vanilla. For xx90 I don't know if they will try with 48GB vram. This probably depends on the bus/bits. Or 48GB to please creators. For a price hike as with 5090 above 4090.
  19. 5050 should be the only card this gen Nvidia with 8GB vram. And 5060 with 16GB vram shouldn't be much more expensive than the 8GB variant. Maybe +25$ on top at best.
  20. As long our old friend F. Azor stay in the Red corners gaming divisjon leadership, Nvidia have nothing to be afraid of. E-sport Games he said don't need AMD cards with more than 8GB vram, LOL He even believe it himself. Or maybe the greedy mind come first. Stupids.
  21. And it won't be any better as long they cannot do it right. You shouldn't need to have latest MB to make it work with newest gen graphics cards. Not being able to install a new generation graphics card is always a shame, even if the platform is starting to get old. RX 9070 and X99 motherboard: vBIOS incompatibility https://overclocking.com/rx-9070-et-carte-mere-x99-une-incompatibilite-au-niveau-du-vbios/ And here is another failure from big US tech companies. Will US adm now start subsidize asia'n tech companies? Let Intel feed the *money they got for free* back to their competitors pockets? US tax payers being heavily screwed as it seems. Intel's best new node from own US chips foundry only usable for making their iGPU tiles. What a joke. Or better say tragic. And this years to come. I really hope China don't go into war and take Taiwan. Because Intel have nothing to offer if China grab TSMC. This reinforces the fact that Intel 18A-P could end up in Nova Lake-S like the Tile GPU, and not the Tile CPU , which would arrive in TSMC's N2P , or at least is on track Intel admits TSMC's superiority: "We're going to use them to manufacture our products forever; they're a great partner." Intel has been trying to regain ground in chip manufacturing with IFS for years, but the reality is that it still relies on TSMC to produce some of its most important products. So sad.
  22. Nvidia have sold more 5000 series cards than anyone though at the beginning of the year. Another nail in the AMD cards coffin. Right into the 9070XT heart. And they need to stop price their products so close to Nvidia. Won't work. Fire Azor!!! Today. Rumor: Nvidia to Replace RTX 5070 Ti and 5080 With SUPER Models in October 2025 Published 13 hours ago by Hilbert Hagedoorn If true, this move suggests Nvidia wants to lock down the market for graphics cards priced above $550 while future-proofing them with larger memory pools.
  23. As usual. Microsoft cannot make a break. https://www.tomshardware.com/software/windows/windows-11-august-2025-security-update-is-causing-unintended-uac-prompts-to-appear-for-non-admin-users-some-apps-are-crashing This issue is affecting virtually all builds of Windows 11, Windows 10, their respective Enterprise versions, and Windows Server, dating all the way back to Windows Server 2012.
