  1. Why go after 5090 if you can get the 5070Ti for around half the price? 😀 Retail Prices For NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Go Crazy: Custom Models Now Listed For $2,000+ Unblockable ads now litter Microsoft's Windows Surface app Microsoft's Surface app within Windows 11 now looks like a Black Friday circular, with seemingly unblockable ads trying to sell you a variety of PC accessories and software subscriptions. Most laptop manufacturers include smart-charging options inside their utility applications, like MyAsus or the Lenovo Vantage application. Microsoft uses the bare-bones Surface app to control that feature, so I opened it up to make a quick fix. And what you think I saw there? Unblockable ads within Windows. Nice to have🤢
  2. @Vasudev Please put a warning for Thermalright TF8 in OP post and refer to this post or link. Or just remove it completely from post #1. Thanks. Buyer warning! Thermalright TF8 in the 2025 follow-up test – label fraud with worse paste under the same name. Warning... Stop buying Thermalright TF8.
  3. Nvidia knew about it... A long time time. Nvidia is an American multinational corporation and technology company. Their etics is trash. NVIDIA confirms 0.5% of RTX 5090(D) and RTX 5070 Ti were shipped with fewer ROPs NVIDIA has just issued a statement on something that we reported yesterday. Only after a report from TechPowerUP, who discovered an anomaly in product specs, did the company decide to confirm that there was indeed a production issue. Here is another US company with same trashy/questionable etics .... Meta defends using pirated material, claims it's legal. And Mr. Musk. He should be jailed for the same. Both Suckerman and Musk should be jailed. There is only one place for such CEOs.
  4. Blackwell is what Arrow Lake was for Intel. Nvidia just follow the same trend. QC cost money. Better rush the harware out before proper testing. Nvidia's main focus is on AI. Not gaming products or gamers. NVIDIA Recommends GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU to AI Content Creators Press Release Source: NVIDIA Blog
  5. Asus cater to their audience. Please tell me if this works when/if you buy one bro @Mr. Fox😁 You get it in two different SKUs. Maybe buy both for the sake of variety🤮 Yup, Asus know exactly what modern PC users want. ASUS Releases A Fragrance Mouse So You Can Stop And Smell The Roses ASUS isn't pitching its Fragrance Mouse as a rodent for gamers, and instead is taking bigger aim at the lifestyle market. The press release makes no mention of price or when exactly this will be available to purchase (I looked and didn't see it listed at Amazon or Best Buy), but when it does become available, it will be offered in both Iridescent White and Rose Clay colorways.
  6. Maybe we'll see less scalping now? Or maybe some buyers don't care about warranty or paying too much?
  7. Nice be the lucky one getting new cards. Return to sender then you need to "return back to the the queue" and hope you get new card within next 16 weeks. Maybe you get lucky a second time? What next? NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Spotted with Missing ROPs, Performance Loss Confirmed Exclusive Updated Today, 11:42 Updated: Today TechPowerUp has discovered that there are NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards in retail circulation that come with too few render units, which lowers performance. Zotac's GeForce RTX 5090 Solid comes with fewer ROPs than it should—168 are enabled, instead of the 176 that are part of the RTX 5090 specifications. This loss of 8 ROPs has a small, but noticeable impact on performance. During recent testing, we noticed our Zotac RTX 5090 Solid sample underperformed slightly, falling behind even the NVIDIA RTX 5090 Founders Edition card. At the time we didn't pay attention to the ROP count that TechPowerUp GPU-Z was reporting, and instead spent time looking for other reasons, like clocks, power, cooling, etc. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/some-rtx-5090s-are-shipping-with-missing-rop-units-leading-to-less-gaming-performance-report Nvidia have a lot work foreards with their brand new tech.... And it seems worse than ever. Shortage is only a small part of this awful release.
  8. From what I see... Asus increased the prices for the 5090's upwards after the tax was preached (Astral went up quite a lot) and that is reflected in the Asus estore prices. Then expect the higher prices also should be included for the lower end SKUs. Maybe I'm wrong. But I think the prices is with the preliminary tax on Asus estore. So MC should be on same level.
  9. I know. And I see it in the stores here home compared to other countries. What I meant... Is the $999 price also the same on the Asus US store? And from what I mean, MC don't increase over Asus store prices. Edit. Confirmed. Asus estore price is $999.99 - But of course there is no cards to buy.
  10. Hmmm. Doesthismeans MSRP cards willbe $825 witht the tariff? And the custom Asus cards at $1000 will be $1250 without scalping? Edit. The 5070 Ti TUF gaming OC is $973 here home without the 25% Norwegian tax. The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 Ti AORUS Master is for comparison $1023 without the 25% Norwegian tax. Gigabyte has taken over the ROG tax.
  11. The TUF is a $1000 card... Same as 5080 MSRP https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asus-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-tuf-oc/
  12. And where will all the cards go out from the AIB partners? Directly to the gamers? Some yes. But not ALL. Better that the AIB partners get more $$$$ out of the cake? They won't change. It's in their blood... It's called "GREED".
  13. Nvidia trading away the graphics cards market share for higher profits. nvidia for gamers, LOL AMD & Intel GPU Market Share Starts Picking Up Pace In Korean Markets, Mainly Due To NVIDIA’s Poor Availability These are just a small glimpse of what 2025 has brought us, and this couldn't have been possible without NVIDIA's aid. If you think AMD is able to increase its GPU market share due to 'better' GPUs, then you are wrong. It's simply because NVIDIA's RTX GPUs are almost invisible in the market—not just in Korea but also in various parts of the world. Game devs... What AMD need to do now. $100 lower, is the bare minimum. AMD will never get an better chance than this. They got it for free from Nvidia. Btw. Anyone that want to try? The new 16-pin connector adapters come with heatsinks, copper and thermal pads to avoid problems
  14. It's your money🙂 It's called progress. I start to see why nvidia don't bother with an FE this time. Throw some bones to their partners. For nvidia it's better continue with over priced data centers.
  15. You should follow the same advice GN said about buying 5070Ti😎 From 1:56 I fix it for you....🤗 Does it really matter? Nope.
  16. With the added tax on new cards the used/old new cards follow the price spiral upwards. @tps3443 You're crazy, man😆
  17. Hmmm. Let's talk about Gigabyte,... Gigabyte is now the new price hike king here home. Gigabyte take all top 5 spots (yup, 5 different SKUs) before you start see first Asus card flash up on the price list (Astral OC LC). Isn't that cute? What's wrong with Asus? Maybe they will hit back and take the crown?🤔
  18. Jensen does exactly as he wants. Same with their partners. DeepSeek GPU smuggling probe shows Nvidia's Singapore GPU sales are 28% of its revenue, but only 1% are delivered to the country: Report Singapore is closely tied to China — especially in business. This is especially true in the tech sector, where many Chinese companies have set up key offices on the island. First shipment of GeForce RTX 5070 Ti not expected to be better than RTX 5090/5080 The article also mentions that many internet cafes in China, which are still quite popular, are planning to upgrade their PCs to the RTX 5070 Ti series. Historically, and based on our chats with Chinese board partners, XX70 and XX60 class GPUs have been popular choices among such customers. However, the initial supply of the RTX 5070 Ti will not be sucient to meet the demand of even a single cafe.
  19. Early in the 5090 lifespan (almost no cards) but this new card will follow in 4090's foot-steps. Not many will be equal lucky as this one. Pc repair shops will have good time forwards. For the GeForce RTX 4090 melting issues has come into the background with the new 5090. However, if more and more GeForce RTX 5090s get into the hands of buyers and more reports of damaged 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 emerge, this could become an even bigger problem for NVIDIA. So double trouble. Yup, I don't talk about a cable with twins of the disaster connector. Maybe not so easy for Nvidia to come away with it this this time🙂 Maybe fake... But we will see smoke and fire with the 5090's forwards. Does it look much better from AMD if the prices is close to be real? What English word can surpass and replace Disgusting? ASUS Radeon PRIME RX 9070 XT listed in Spain for 1,195 euros (RX 9070 for 1,009 euros)
  20. This is like sweet music in the ears for AMD. Close to $1000 for xx70Ti cards is more the norm now. And $899 is the cheap budget cards. https://videocardz.com/newz/asus-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-prime-msrp-card-now-listed-at-899-by-two-us-retailers Edit. If AMD could sell their 9070 XT at $600 they could own the whole mid end market. Even with close to $650.
