  1. Intel have just determined fire 20% of their semiconductor factory workers staff. Instead Intel prefer buy silicon for their products from their competitor TSMC to cut their costs and increase margins. And now will outsource their marketing team. What will be left of Intel closer to the end of this decade? Intel ain't Intel anymore. Just a brand mark with the Intel stamp on. Consumers can just buy AMD. They all get the silicon from TSMC, so yeah... Intel's new CEO Mr. Lip is in full work modernizing cut Intel into small pieces. Intel to outsource marketing to Accenture and AI, resulting in more layoffs The marketing division has been one of Intel's key strengths since the company began communicating directly with end users with the launch of its "Intel Inside" campaign in 1991. However, it looks like the company will drastically cut its human-driven marketing efforts going forward, as it plans to lay off many of its marketing employees, believing that Accenture's AI will do a better job connecting Intel with customers. How exactly the usage of AI instead of real people can reinforce the brand hasn't been explained yet. Former Intel employees new work tools... Designed in US and made by China🤔 I really hope the US Government won't infuse a huge tariff on much needed sewing machines. And if they do, it will be damn expensive bring back the jobs.
  2. Payback for making bad products. You need to lower the prices to be able to sell it to customers. Intel cuts the price of the Core Ultra 7 265K for the third time: better performance/price vs. Ryzen 7 9800X3D Intel has once again reduced the price of its Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 7 265KF processors. Maybe something have improved for Blackwell or Nvidia have forgotten previous gen cards. Nvidia won't improve the gaming performance for older gen cards. And all work into Geforce drivers have been for 5000 series cards.

  4. Linux users do the impossible: FSR 4 with RX 7900 XTX I've been gaming on Windows for over 30 years, but now I'm giving Linux a shot
  5. Linux users do the impossible: FSR 4 with RX 7900 XTX
  6. Thermal Grizzly products is often produced in Germany. Hence it has to cost more. But if they use factories in China for etc thermal pads they should have been cheaper. But as we know... They put the price point equal/or closer to other companies that offer high quality products. Same as with AMD... They try to put the prices close to their competitors products. Not what they should cost (mostly more expensive than needed). This way they can make higher margins on some items. Just copycat the competitors price level.
  7. Yep. To serve the US market. This is on top of what they produce in Asia (the majority of production). Intel get rid of their employees. That don't increase good paid factory workers in US. One step forwards and one step backwards. Maybe this will be the new jobs for former Intel and Microsoft employees?😀 Yup, bring back the jobs...
  8. Intel don't need as many factory workers if they prefer buy the silicon from TSMC. Bring back the manufacturing to the US, LOL And you don't need as many factory workers if your products is so bad that consumers prefer something else/or skip gen upgrades due same reasons (I look at me myself). Intel layoff plans will see a 20% reduction in semiconductor factory workers Intel has reportedly told its employees that the company plans to lay off between 15% and 20% of its employees from its chip manufacturing division, with more job cuts planned down the line.
  9. $2000 down the drain due China's hunger for parts for AI server cards. There is nothing called cheap 5090's. Some people will never learn from others mistakes.
  10. Microsoft messes up with its latest Windows 10 and 11 update: Fujitsu PCs and GIGABYTE laptops don't work.
  11. Yep, forget those LP E-cores. They won't do much. Then you are left with 48 threads (most of them are threads from the lower perfoming baby cores). AMD make ready an 32 core Ryzen cpu tocompete. That means 64 threads. Or 16 threads more than what you get from the next level of the hybrid mess from Intel. 3 different types of cores means Microsofts engineers need to make magic with their OS builds for Intel processors. That is doomed to fail. Because the power scheduler will go totally wacko.
  12. China have 1/3 of the GPU market. I expect the 5090DD is in work. That means the production of 5090 will drop. Forget real price drop for 5090 cards. I expect the inflated MSRP level will continue. There is no reason you can't buy any 5090's at Asus US Store. So I expect they already are in work make ready castrated 5090's for the China market. NVIDIA to launch GeForce RTX 5090DD for Chinese market with GB202-240 GPU and 24GB memory
  13. Hmmm. Asus US Store operates with Notify Me. None 5090 available for sale. Why? Retail got all cards? Or maybe we will see the other side of the coin. Nvidia could easily reduce production capasity and put all resources on coming server chips. Creating shortage is easy. Just reduce production of chips for a while.
  14. Yup. Microsoft locks Windows 11 user out, shows how easy losing data from forced encryption is
  15. The usual with new updates. Windows 11's emergency June update causes even more bugs and chaos Update KB5063060 is supposed to fix Windows 11 issues raised by update KB5060842, but it brings new problems of its own. Never let Microsoft determine how you want their OS to work. Microsoft locks Windows 11 user out, shows how easy losing data from forced encryption is Edit. Microsoft messes up with its latest Windows 10 and 11 update: Fujitsu PCs and GIGABYTE laptops don't work.
  16. MSI pulls new AMD AGESA 1.2.0.3e BIOS due to memory stability issue Update your Asus PC right now! A critical flaw can let hackers take over They can't even make firmware/software for their expenive hardware without bugs.
  17. Hmmm. Those that need 24GB vram for work never buy it this way (at least here home due tax and depreciation). They buy brand new. And the latest tech when they need new. So it has to be gamers or fools. Or US have different rules for businesses and taxation for work tools. Btw. Nvidia have released new drivers today. 576.80😁 Why pay all too much to play e-sport games as suggested by F. Azor? You can buy a whole new used computer for that amount money and still have some money left in the pocket.
  18. Add 32GB vram for the Radeon card and $1099 and they will fly out. (AI)Creators will love them. There is stupids that will pay $2300+ for over two years old cards. The 24GB vram buffer as you know. But how will it be when Nvidia push out 24GB cards at $1200 ? Newegg may start pay sub $1000 for used 4090's? Is this real? Or fiction?
  19. Hmmm. I wonder how much Newegg sell them for in China region/nearby countries if they try circumvent the US ban. Even with no profits from the trade-in with used 4090's they will go with profits. I'm sure Newegg have customers ready for the bulk of used cards. Maybe the US governments should check where they go. Newegg can easily get rid of the trade-in 4090's. China take them. Every single one of them. Just ship them in bulk. Not much fuzz. One customer take them all is what will be done.
  20. There is nothing I like now. I don't like the new hybrid tile mess from Intel or the AMD Ryzen chips. If I had to build today I would look after the older Z790 platform. The same platform I use today. Aka Z790 and 14900KS. Also older 13900K(KS)/14900K if you got it cheaper is an good option. And Intel offer extended warranty for the Raptor lake family so... This is what I prefer. The Z790 platform is a solid choice. Also @Mr. Fox isn't all to happy with the AMD platform. And he also hate the new Z890 platform from Intel. No HT and dummy tiles is damn stupid choice from Intel. Glued together chips/tiles is a step backwards and not forwards. Only designed to cut costs and maximize already sky high profits. AMD plugs serious Ryzen vulnerability with new firmware update
  21. Nothing Microsoft create is safe.... But M$ want you to scrap your older fully working computer because it's a security problem for your data/privacy. This was doomed to happen. What Microsoft has made is an ticking bomb. Vulnerability made it possible to steal sensitive data by sending email. 23. The yellow tip MSI adapter can't even handle an 5070Ti. And same here... Most of the 12V terminal pins have the same brownish color as the MSI adapers running 600W 5090 cards. 5070Ti is 300W cards. Hmmm. LOL Nice. 36 out of 52 cores is low performing E-cores. 4 of them even lower-power efficiency cores. And of course no HT because Intel intead prefer a flood of baby cores. Intel don't make real desktop processors. Only processors for tablets/slimyyy thin Jokebooks ported over for desktops (with increased TDP). + server chips. Intel’s next-gen “Nova Lake-S” Core Ultra series to feature up to 52 cores (16P+32E+4LP) with 150W TDP
  24. Microsoft will have a problem if they think they can convince people to throw their older fully working computers in the trash bin and buy new before the EOL date for Win 10. User calls Windows 11 “pure horror,” Microsoft says it’s listening to feedback Windows 11 is far from perfect, but some users truly hate the upgrade, which will become mandatory for everyone starting October 14, 2025. In a post on X, a user who switched to Fedora called Windows 11 “pure horror,” and responding to the criticism, Microsoft’s Insider Program head promised the company is paying close attention to the feedback. It's been four years, and I still don't have a strong enough reason to upgrade to Windows 11 Redmond is making various attempts to get people to seamlessly upgrade to Windows 11 in what may be last ditch efforts before the looming Windows 10 EoL date. But I believe what will really move the needle is the actual arrival of EoL or groundbreaking Windows 11 features that you simply can't get elsewhere. But I do believe that the latter will take some time, so until then, let's welcome the age of the new Windows 7. @Mr. Fox This was doomed to happen. What Microsoft has made is an ticking bomb. But M$ want you to scrap your older fully working computer because it's a security problem for your data/privacy. Vulnerability made it possible to steal sensitive data by sending email. 25. AMD is on the way with their AI hardware. They will sink equal low. So not so sure we will have any viable options (correct pricing and real performance uplift without software tweaks and new fake frame features). AMD Expected to Break NVIDIA’s AI Monopoly With Next-Gen Instinct MI500 Accelerators & EPYC “Verano” CPUs, Set to Compete Against Vera Rubin Lineup We can only hope the AI bubble bursts.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot-com_bubble AI has not turned out to be as effective as they thought: 50% of companies that wanted to replace their employees with AI are backing out.
