Fun part. Reset bios and run mcsp again and you may get different results 🙂 No need for a different bios to get different mcsp results. Tested this yesterday before I removed the defective KS for return to sender. The mcsp went from 80 to 77. Is less more?😀 And the defective KS couldn't run higher than 47 on the E-cores. In short... Intel didn't bother with the E-cores when they binned for the 62x special Edition. They totally forgot that their defective junk have hybrid architecture.

Disgusting VF curve. My worse SP 100 defective chips have better VF curve for 5100, 5600 and 5900. But your 6200 is massive 5mv better. Great value for 3 points better chips. With a K I can easly accept get lower quality chips but not if you pay premium and buy their special binned chips. A huge difference. The variance between the different KS is all too big. In short a scam. Not pleased how Intel have treated their enhusiast performance crowd. If they want to bin chip for a special version.... Just offer three top tiers. OKish, better and best. More the way EVGA binned and sold their 9xx serieis kingpin cards. 3 tiers and 3 different price point. This way people know what to expect. Not this new greedy way maxinmize profits. Low bin +$50 above vanilla K and so on. Middle bin +$100 Top bin +$150 But I expect Intel have so many defective KS chips so this is impossible to offer.

I don't even delid anymore. The tools and blocks is expensive (and difficult to find here) and no one want to buy colder running chips on the used market due no more warranty. You have to play with what you have. But I still get decent results compared to many others with the much better silicon (some even overspent to get the best you can get, but still can't get it to fly). Hmmm, can't be due the SP quality I got... Because what I have got from Intel the two last years, sucks.

der8auers SP104 isn't much better than your SP102. Intel should never ever have released this Cpu in it's bin state. And I feel very sad for those that buy the 14900K/13900KS forwards. Intel think single core workflow is king today. Just pump in voltage and hope for the best. Imagine how the 14900KS will run in the new flawed tiny cramped Alienware chassis with the small cute 280 mm custom AIO? Fixed 59/45/45 with L5 and 1.5V. And stright to 100C and freeze. Intel's main target is gamerboys that want highest possible clock speed and can disable HT and all the baby cores. You probably know about the next gen chips... 8 real cores... Seems razorblade is the only option. A big layer of silicon/glue that need to be cut. Maybe add some heat with a heatgun under the work.

What is your stock Cinebench 23 score? Loads of test results from reviews and from users is barely 40.000/41.000 for the KS. That's awful result when you know the KS run higher clocks for the P and the E-cores. I get +42160 in CBR23 with a stock 14900K with default bios. 5.7/4.4/4.5 ring (no XMP) all core clock speed in bench. And CBR23 run with below normal priority. Yep, the OS isn't full of trash tasks in the background but still the KS should provide more Oom-pah. And is there an difference between the SP ranking between the 14th gen K and KS ? Because I see the SP for the E-cores looks worse for the KS. Almost half of the posted results show well below SP80. If there is same SP ranking, it looks very bad for the E-cores on the KS.
