  1. O&O ShutUp10++ 1.9.1440 released 12/11/2024 You have to be an moron if you trust Microsoft! Hence you need software as etc the one above. Microsoft Recall screenshots credit cards and Social Security numbers, even with the "sensitive information" filter enabled
  2. Hmmm. Is this what gamers have waited for the last month? One thinfg for sure... Intel will release security patches at the end of Arrow Lake life. And we all know what to expect right before relase of a new gen chips. Intel's latest Arrow Lake CPU firmware reportedly offers little to no performance gains Rumor has it that the upcoming 0x114 microcode is the long-awaited one-stop fix for Arrow Lake, which has leaked online. While we don't recommend flashing microcodes from third-party sources, a few brave souls at Overclock.net did that just for experimentation, and to their dismay, the gains were non-existent. As a user reported, his Core Ultra 9 285K paired with the ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF saw a 6% drop in Cinebench R23 MT scores because of low clock speeds. Here's yet another failure. The Cpu and the MB use 3x 8 pins connectors nowadays. With this (white) fancy PSU you have abysmal 3x 8 pin + the modern 12+4 pin connector for nvidia graphics cards. So no love for coming AMD and Intel graphics cards. How stupid is that? And you can't power up your nvidia graphics cards if it have 8 pin connectors. Modern means better. Because it's newer and hence has to be better? This type PSU's should have come with only 8-pins connectors instead for the 12+4 pin connector. Just put with 8-pins to 12+4 pin adapter cable. How stupid can some (design) engineers be? GameMax, an emerging brand of PC gaming components including gaming cases and power supply units, proudly announces the GS SFX Gold Series power supply GameMax Introduces GS SFX Gold Series PSU with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 Standards And who'm would power up the CPU this way? Yes you get an pigtail (4 + 4 Pin) ATX 12V Power cable for powering the Cpu but I don't like this sorts of cheapo made design solution. Ans same idiotic design idea for the more powerful 850W models. Gamemax.... Yup the prefered PSU. For some newer Nvidia graphics cards.
  3. Yup. Thermal Conductivity numbers at 130 W/m-K is more as a scam fake number. More of the higher conductive matrial Indium won't make magic if you know that Indium can't reach above 86W/mK as standalone metal alloy. And Indium is what's make the high conductive numbers in any Liquid metal. See also... A lie or a gray area? How to construct high thermal conductivity. Anyway. Looking forwards to results 🙂 Dang. I know why you wanted these swabs😁
  4. And the list continue grow. When will it be better? Microsoft confirms Outlook fails to start in Windows 11 24H2 with Google Workspace Sync neowin.net · Dec 7, 2024 Microsoft confirmed another known issue in Windows 11 version 24H2. This time, it impacts Outlook, but the fix is available.
  5. It's hard competitoion between the YouTubers.... NZXT CEO try hard to extinguish the fire. How much is lies, I don't know. But he need to be careful or it will become worse.
  6. Epic offers free simulator and action-adventure worth $85 This week, the Epic Games Store is offering two free games for players to claim. A well-loved simulator and an action-adventure title, normally priced at $85, can now be downloaded at no cost.
  7. Probably all too late. Greed come at a price. 'I want to acknowledge that we messed up': NZXT addresses concerns about its controversial Flex gaming PC rental program and commits to taking action
  8. Hmmm. You say the Windows replacement is getting closer😀 Here's the thing with free Linux distros. Some don't see why people avoid the orginal. Why make a copycat of Windows 11's and it's ugliness? Windows 11's start menu etc is darn awful and should never been copied for any OS. 3 free Linux distros that look and feel like Windows
  9. Microsoft can even make Windows OS worse than it is now. Just start up with phones again. We haven't yet seen the utter bottom from Redmond campus. So it is.......
  10. Microsoft can't even make a good OS for processors without stupid E-cores and hybrid mess. And they change power plan settings or power scheduler to their likings to fit their own ARM garbage. All is about power efficiency. Maybe they think half the processors shoud be shut down in work flow. Yup... Disgusting. See. Their changes in the OS is an intended move. All they care about is that it works as intended with their own surface Joke Books. Apple make own OS for tablets. Same also for their desktops and smartphones. Microsoft want it "all in one". Of course it will fail.
  11. Try another OS version. Remember the stupids at Microsoft campus have forgot how to make a good working OS. Second stupid modern tech for the day... LOOL. Now you need an QVL power supply list. Modern tech strikes again. Corsair's R&D director (PC power supplies) Jonny Guru just shaking his head. Corsair's power supply R&D director discovered that some graphics cards do not support 300W 16-PIN cables? Yup, nothing is better than loads of 8 pin connectors on your PSU so you can power up any of your modern Nvidia graphics card. No need for an stupid designed native cable with 4+12 pin power connector. More 8-pins connectors, the better. And even more important if you run older GPUs or newer Radeon cards. Many modern so called high end PSU's have all to few of them.
  12. Hmmm. Should work. Is this done with stock clocks? If not then try default clock speed.
  13. You got the boot. Well earned. From now on Intel will have to dig the hole alone. Hope they throw the baby cores you talked so nice about down that deep dark hole and forget the past to recup momentum with something better than the castrated Arrow Lake processors. And god forbid if Intel go after AMD's CEO for more glued tiles adventures. It seems Pat can't have sweet dreams. Only nightmares. You got fired😁 Intel CEO steps down after a disastrous 2024 The announcement was made via press release this morning, calling the move a retirement. Two current executives, David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus, will function as co-CEOs while Intel’s board searches for a more permanent replacement. Intel Announces Retirement of CEO Pat Gelsinger SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 2, 2024 – Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) today announced that CEO Pat Gelsinger retired from the company after a distinguished 40-plus-year career and has stepped down from the board of directors, effective Dec. 1, 2024.
  14. Yup. It seems no one can do it right.... Also one more reason to hate/avoid the new and shiny😁 No one should need spend two whole days with troubleshooting. No time for this. Windows 11 24H2 brings the sRGB color space for everyone – When a well-intentioned Windows update causes you two days of trouble And here is more stupidity.... The (a)RGB hype train continue to the absurd. Yet another new fancy feature meant to lure bling bling lovers to open their wallets. More useless features = New ways to try increase profits. Will this be the new, must have? How much are you willing to pay extra for this type of features? 20 bucks? Or even 50 ? The first RGB WiFi antenna is officially launched on Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP!
  15. Hence no reason to upgrade to the new buggy mess🙂 And here you can see... People still prefer older Win 10. See bolded text. Windows 11 lost momentum in November Microsoft's Windows 11 campaigns have led to increased market share - for Windows 10. The fact remains, however, that Windows 10, despite its impending retirement, is still the market-dominant operating system and may remain so for longer than Microsoft had hoped. Much of the reporting surrounding Windows 11 has revolved around bugs , incompatibility with certain hardware and higher system requirements, which of course does not help to attract new users. LOL. Why bother if you use Win 10 ? Microsoft details how to install Windows 11 on unsupported PC not meeting requirements As mentioned above, the company absolutely wants people on Windows 11 as even the latest Statcounter data suggests it isn't going as great as Microsoft would have hoped. Thus Microsoft even allows users on unsupported PCs to upgrade to Windows 11 but makes such users sign a waiver first.
  16. @Mr. FoxYup, it's real. Sad isn't it? Greed is an incurable disease. https://www.dn.no/video/m/uymHStU4/opprort-grunder-med-viral-hitlat-om-exitskatten-dont-come-to-norway-april-2024?play=1
  17. TechPowerUp Releases NVCleanstall v1.17.0 Techpowerup.com - Yesterday TechPowerUp today released the latest version of NVCleanstall, our nifty little utility that lets you download and install NVIDIA GeForce drivers with a much higher level of customization than NVIDIA's installer permits. This utility lets you disable (or enable) several components in the GeForce driver package that you can't find in the NVIDIA installer's "Custom install" page, including important settings such as telemetry. Version 1.17.0 introduces several improvements and fixed. To begin with, driver signature rebuild not working on Windows 11 24H2 has been fixed. The startup page now has a "what's new" link that takes you to the driver change-log from the Release Notes. We fixed an issue where the "automatically click driver unsigned warning" option was not working under certain conditions. The messaging in the "Finished" page of NVCleanstall has been fixed. The driver dropdown now indicates "Windows 10/11" instead of simply "Windows 10." We improved the "build package" screen with a tip that the "-y" argument allows unattended installation. The overall interface has been improved to help with systems that have very low screen resolution. The "experimental" label has been removed from the GitHub-based NVENC Video Encoding Session Limit Patch in the options list. A rare error encountered when unpacking installers has been fixed. 18. Sad. They make headroom for future Super and TI Super cards upgrades. Disgusting. You'll get yesterday's performance uplift as the next new and shiny a year after. The performance uptick with later Super cards could have been delivered from day one. Not as an stupid refresh re-hash a year later. Same as Microsoft... They neeed to deliver something "new" every damn year. Let the people get the performance expected from the arch upgrade now. Not after a year. Maybe Nvidia make the RTX 5070 cheaper to try compete with AMD's re-hash and Intel's coming Battlemage graphics cards. None can compete with Nvidia on performance so rather swap over to try compete on prices with lower speced hardware. Edit. From the TT article.... The current GeForce RTX 4070 is a powerful and capable gaming card, and the RTX 5070 might be one of the only models that will get some direct competition from AMD and Intel. Then you have next gen software for fake frames. Cheaper than make better and more expensive hardware. And here we go again. Anyone remember how Nvidia made it possible for miners to eak out more from the LHR GPUs(re-enable the mining potential of GeForce RTX 30-series LHR graphics cards)? We may see Nvidia will do similar trickery for cards as 5090D for AI servers in China and some other banned countries. How stupid is U.S government if they let Nvidia come away with this? China accounts for 1/3 of the GPU market and can also help Nvidia and their partners to get higher ASP for 5090(D) series cards. GeForce RTX 5090D may retain full hardware specs of RTX 5090, unlike its predecessor It's about time for US government to take of the silk gloves and make ready the ban hammer. A real harsh fine if nvidia try circumvent the restrictions. A fine Jensen, shareholders and nvidia will never ever forget.
  19. Seems Asus made it possible to avoid upgrade to newer ME with their new feature upgrade for the new boards. Just continue as ususal (old habit) and upgrade bios with selecting CAP files. Z890 motherboard BIOS update becomes easier! The focus of ASUS EZ FLASH 4 is actually the ZIP file. Users do not need to manually decompress the file to extract the CAP file so that the BIOS can read it directly, because the latest generation of ASUS EZ FLASH 4 supports reading ZIP files and updating them directly. In fact, ASUS does not recommend users to manually unzip it because the ZIP contains INTEL ME updates. If the user only selects the CAP file to update, INTEL ME cannot be updated at the same time. And more ASUS news..... ASUS updates its boards with the new microcodes: better performance of the Intel Core Ultra 200S and correction of the TRCD in the AMD Ryzen 7000 Of course, you have to go to the forums to see how fed up some users are with the brand, or, we don't know to what extent, with Intel and AMD. And that is the main problem, where is the responsibility of the brand that makes the motherboards and where is it of the CPU, platform and microcode manufacturer? Users see a very slight downgrade with the microcode upgrade on ASUS motherboards for Intel Core Ultra 200S. Regarding Intel... They continue offer pump out new meaningless processor upgrades... Core Ultra 5 225F barely outperforms Core i5-13600 in Geekbench — low-end Ultra 5 chip comes with six P-core and four E-cores Intel could manufacture the Apple A20 SoCs that will power the iPhone 18 in 2026 Yup. Intel prefer continue make phone processors and low end graphics cards.... Sad. Or better say....
  20. And the bug list continue grow for the latest and greatest OS. The usual from from Redmond. Microsoft is going from bad to worse with Windows 11 Microsoft's latest Windows 11 update is causing more headaches for users https://static.tweaktown.com/news/1/0/101892_56156165_microsofts-latest-windows-11-update-is-causing-more-headaches-for-users_full.png Asus, Dell confirm new issues in Windows 11 24H2 update, including shutdown bug windowslatest.com - November 26, 20240 Windows 11 24H2 has more issues, including compatibility problems with Dell and Asus PCs, which might also affect users with other hardware Microsoft halts Windows 11 24H2 updates on PCs running certain Ubisoft games, and those that are patched lose performance Microsoft is going from bad to worse with Windows 11 at a time when time is running out for the robust and fast Windows 10. Windows 11 24H2 is now incompatible with USB scanning devices, too Windows 11 24H2 increasingly shows how the Windows Insider program does nothing to improve Windows security and reliability. The number of show-stopper bugs experienced by customers who updated to the latest OS version is staggering. Meanwhile, Microsoft is just saying that they're working on (yet another) fix with no specific release date in sight.
  21. Be aware of the fancy EX naming. Avoid this so called "new" thermal paste from Thermalright. Overpriced and a worse product. Thermalright TF8 EX thermal paste in test – Same price, smaller quantity, poor performance and low durability than the TF8 They have simply added an “EX” appendix to the product name (which could even imply progress) and are selling this much worse paste at a significantly higher price. Whereas 2 grams were available at the time for 4.99 euros (priced at a stable level for a long time), you can now get 1.5 grams for 6.99 euros and the much worse product is also available. I hope that Thermalright, as a pure distributor, will not change its business model for other products in this way and now buy cheaper and then sell them at an even higher price.
  22. Price jumps in the toll ring in Oslo - again Shall bring in 93 billion from the automobile owners. The price jump follows the Oslo Package 3 agreement that was adopted by the Oslo City Council and Akershus County Council before the summer. It was decided what the 93 billion kroner in toll money from motorists will be used for over the next twenty years. 96 percent goes to public transport, cycling and walking. Yes, motorists will pay for public transport, cycling and walking. Almost none of the road toll money will go to better roads. Yup, this bothers me. We will still have to drive on small narrow and winding roads.
